We would like to introduce you to the Good Bodies' newsletter.  Along with our face-to-face contact through personal training, we would like to use this newsletter as a way to help you stay motivated, learn new recipes, meet (or become) one of our featured clients, and receive special promotions.  If you like what this newsletter contains, please feel free to pass it along to a friend. Changes at Good Bodies!
Renovation starting soon           
Many of you are already aware that Accelerate Ohio is leaving their space at the end of this month.  This will allow us to:

1. Reclaim our group class area (currently the Cardio room) for group classes or group training, or it will be utilized for open floor space for personal training.

2. Expand the Muscle Activation Techniques / Physical Therapy department to allow four Certified Specialists and/or Therapists to work in that room at one time.

3. Enlarge the Metabolic Assessment Room that includes the Bod Pod and Resting Metabolic Rate Testing.

4. Move the cardio equipment to the east end of the current Accelerate Ohio space to give you a view outside and updated T.V.'s.

These and more changes will be happening soon with hopefully limited interruptions and hassles (if that is possible). Please bear with us as this will probably be a little messy, a little loud, although exciting, for the growth of your facility!

Even though the calendar says it's spring, there is still a chill in the air, and you will love to warm up with this healthy chili. Try a recipe that has been a favorite to most of the trainers and clients at Good Bodies for 14 years.  All the recipes in this section are from the Good Bodies Cookbook which was written by Jack and Renee Mougin.  The Cookbooks are available at Good Bodies for $14.99 + tax and include not only recipes that are on the lighter side, but it gives a very informative Nutrition 101 section in the front of the book. The  Bottom Line
How are you talking to yourself?
     In this ever increasing world of uncertainty, when you don't know if you are going to be paying $3.00 or $3.50 per gallon of gas tomorrow, there are few things that we feel like we have control over.  Here is at least one thing that you, and only you, have control over.
     One of the most important ways you can change your outlook, attitude, and physical well-being, is to change that running dialogue in your subconcious mind. 
     All of the negative, self-defeating comments you say or think about yourselves consciously, get deeply implanted in your subconscious minds and play a role in our health. 
     When you start changing your self-talk from the negative to the positive, you will start to feel energized, strengthen your immune system, and improve your outlook no matter what the situation.

Take Action!
1.  The next time someone gives you a compliment, say nothing other than "Thank You"

2.  Give Compliments - a good way to feel good about yourself is to find the best in others.

3.  Seperate your behavior from yourself - understand that your behavior is not connected to your self-worth.  Try to consider any mistakes you make, as an opportunity to learn how to improve.

4. Surround yourself with good positive people.

5. Read books which give you positive ideas and inspiration.

6. Think healthy and happy thoughts.

7.  Accept and love yourself where you are right now and acknowledge that even up until now you have been living life the best way you know how.
