Ondeck would like to wish you a Happy New Year.To celebrate the New Year, Ondeck has added more US Sailing Courses, Regattas, and Offshore Sailing opportunities! We have already had an active New Year with folks joining us to race with the Ondeck Farr 40 Frostbite Regatta Team and signing up for our Caribbean Regattas. Captain Toby Sheen is making the most of these 60 degree "winter" days during his Basic Keelboat 1&2.

ADVENTURE SAILING / RACING
Ondeck has just announced that it is offering a variety of opportunities for students and clients to participate in the 2012 Gulfstreamer Race: May 25th, 2012.
The Gulfstreamer Race has been held every other year since 1998 and is jointly managed by The Halifax River Yacht Club and The Charleston Yacht Club. The fun actually starts with a BIG PARTY at the Halifax River Yacht Club on Thursday May 24th.
The Gulfstreamer Race starts at the sea buoy in Ponce Inlet, Florida. The Race start begins the traditional "race within a race" as skippers and crew sail a sprint race the first 10 miles to the Daytona Beach Pier for a separate "sprint" trophy. This "sprint" race will finish in the early evening on Friday, May 25th, just a few hundred yards from the end of the Daytona Beach Pier.
Racers entered in the entire GulfStreamer Race will continue the Race as they turn their sailing tactics from a short sprint to a grueling test of endurance and seamanship as they head 215 nautical miles towards Charleston, South Carolina.
The skippers and crew should be finishing the Race Saturday evening and into Sunday morning just as Charleston kicks off it's annual arts and cultural festival, the Spoleto Festival. Ondeck is entering a variety of different sized yachts, each with a licensed Captain and a group of Ondeck participates onboard. If you have ever wanted to TRY real ocean racing, this is a PERFECT way to do it! Grab your foul weather gear, your offshore clothes and let Ondeck take care of everything else.

RACE WITH ONDECK's FARR 40 TEAM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE

 Come join Ondeck's Farr 40 Race Team and experience the fun of racing! Ondeck will be offering a single slot charter on the Farr 40's in the CORA Frostbite series. Participants can race as much or as little as you like. The focus of the Ondeck Team is to train you in the positions on the boat from helm
ing to flying the chute. You will improve your sailing skills and ensure your position as a valuable crew member for future CORA races. Boat owners are always looking for good crew, and after driving a winning Farr 40 with Team Ondeck, you will be a hot commodity for future races.
Three more Frostbite Race weekends remain and Ondeck is ready rock the remaining three regattas with you as our crew. After finishing 3rd over the line and 6th overall this past Saturday, we look forward to teaching you and sharing the thrill of racing with you. Captain Will Tyner was a Junior North American Champion in the Lightening Fleet. He is a well rounded racer having competed in top levels in one design and PHRF racing.
