Deproduction and Community First Foundation have joined forces to provide further opportunities in media production and education to local non-profits.

The purpose of the Denver Metro Non-Profit Production Grant is to support participating nonprofit organizations in leveraging new media technologies to increase outreach and awareness within the community.  The program will provide at least five organizations with the skills and resources required to continue using these powerful tools for years to come.

Among the benefits the grantees will receive are a Denver Open Media Organizational Membership, which includes unlimited use of edit stations, cameras and studios; four free certification classes; and unlimited hosting of broadcast content for television and the web, and guaranteed TV cablecast of every show submitted.  Participating organizations will be trained in the production of short promotional videos, and will also participate in a professionally produced half-hour studio show, to be aired on Comcast channel 57, highlighting the work of the organization.
