"Unto Him"
A Benefit Concert for our Homeless Ministry

Please mark your calendar for a very special and entertaining event on Sunday, October 16, at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. Our Chancel Choir, Melissa Green from "Avalon" and other special guests will perform and sing their outstanding music in a benefit for "M25 + Opening Our Doors." The concert proceeds will help us install showers and improve facilities at St. Philip to provide more temporary emergency shelter for the homeless in frigid weather. The proceeds will also help fund our support to The Garden. Thus far, Mt. Bethel has installed hot water heaters, new sinks, a fully refurbished kitchen, walk-in freezer and new heat and air-conditioning. There are currently 20,000 homeless people in the Atlanta area. There are 4,000 beds available for the homeless and The Garden provides approximately 150 for women and children.
With Mt. Bethel's help, through The Garden and Safe House, more than 3,500 meals are provided each     week.

"Journeys With the Messiah" Sunday, October 30 | 6:00pm

The fashion photographer, Michael Belk, uses his camera and creativity to bring the timeless stories of First Century Jesus to modern-day life. Mr. Belk's presentation is most inspirational and enlightening. He writes: "By age 40, I was at the peak of my game and I was exhausted, physically and mentally. For weeks, I couldn't sleep and went AWOL from work. The more I tried to get out of the darkness, the darker it got. For whatever reason, Jesus came for a visit as casually as a friend dropping by for a cup of coffee. 'What now, Michael?' He asked. 'Do you want to continue down your highway or would you like to give My plan a try?' "

Through photography, Michael Belk tells the story of Jesus Christ and has created a powerful ministry.

Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 30, at 6:00 in the Sanctuary and be inspired.
