Wesley Woods Mother's Day Offering - Wesley Woods takes to heart the simple message of the old hymn, "Help Somebody Today." Older adults, including those with limited means and many needs, have been their mission for more than forty years. Many have nowhere else to turn. At Wesley Woods, they are most definitely "somebodies," traveling life's way in dignity, with the support of compassionate friends. The help takes the form of quality residential service in nine facilities, excellent geriatric health care as part of Emory Healthcare, and specialized care for conditions like Alzheimer's & Parkinson's disease. The North Georgia Conference designates Mother's Day for the support of charitable care at Wesley Woods. This offering is the primary source of funds to subsidize living expenses and health care costs of the thousands who are served. To contribute, please make your check payable to Mt. Bethel and write "Wesley Woods" on the for line.

Your donations can include kitchenware, working small appliances, decorative items, seasonal decorations, sheets, towels, new containers of hygiene items and, of course, clothing. If possible, please pack in "travel-ready" boxes with contents marked on outside. It only takes a few days for our trailer load of items to be distributed into the impoverished W.Va. community.
