Message from the Minister
"God's Good Energy"

Those are the words one of our members used to describe Mt. Bethel's Easter Celebration. "God's Good Energy" was powerfully felt in each worship service last Sunday! I think the energy was His electrifying Spirit that touched the hearts of us all.
The estimated crowd was approximately 8,000. The Sunrise Service and 9:00 Services were true attendance records. The Gym was filled with nearly 1,000 children. But perhaps the most energetic portion of the day revolved around our special guests and their participation in our Easter celebration. Approximately 300 members volunteered as greeters, hosts and hostesses for our 120 guests - men, women and children. There is probably no way to measure the energy generated through our food service ministry. Our kitchen crew turned over 1,100 diners at breakfast in just over one hour!
The excitement experienced in the Sanctuary worship service with our guests was exceptional. His Spirit was celebrated in some of the most beautiful music this pastor has ever heard! Our choir, praise team, orchestra and congregations excelled.
The whole church worked beautifully together as one team, His Team, came together to celebrate the most blessed and powerful day of the year. Bus drivers, bus chaperones, parking attendants, ushers, greeters, nursery workers, kitchen angels, worship leaders, cross decorators, flower arrangers, singers, musicians . . . "God's Good Energy"!
Now, I look forward to doing it all again this Sunday and every Sunday as we celebrate Easter each week! God's Good Energy is a weekly celebration at Mt. Bethel!
God Bless You,
Randy Mickler
Senior Pastor

Wesley Woods Mother's Day Offering - Wesley Woods takes to heart the simple message of the old hymn, "Help Somebody Today." Older adults, including those with limited means and many needs, have been their mission for more than forty years. Many have nowhere else to turn. At Wesley Woods, they are most definitely "somebodies," traveling life's way in dignity, with the support of compassionate friends. The help takes the form of quality residential service in nine facilities, excellent geriatric health care as part of Emory Healthcare, and specialized care for conditions like Alzheimer's & Parkinson's disease. The North Georgia Conference designates Mother's Day for the support of charitable care at Wesley Woods. This offering is the primary source of funds to subsidize living expenses and health care costs of the thousands that are served. To contribute, please make your check payable to Mt. Bethel and write "Wesley Woods" on the for line.
