Nursery Ministry- Please check your purses, diaper bags and cars in case you have a pager from the nursery, as we are still missing some. You can bring them to the nursery office or call 770-971-2588.

Children's Ministry

Registration has begun and volunteer leaders are needed for June Vacation Bible School (June 7-11) for discovery time, recreation, snacks and crafts. There is also a need for logistic leaders for each age level, Kindergarten-4th grade. We have openings for ages 4K- 6th grade and would love to have you help us as we take the children on a "Galactic Blast - A Cosmic Adventure Praising God." CHARGE! Retreat (Children Having Awesome Recreation & Godly Encounters) is May 15 & 16 and is for current 4th and 5th graders. This retreat focuses on the spiritual growth of the young people. We truly do have an awesome time and meet God in an environment that allows us to be free of our worldly interruptions at Camp Evergreen. Registration has begun. You can register online or complete the form in the brochure. We have limited space so register early. We need parents to go to chaperone. Spring Break - No youth or adult games or practices due to Cobb County Spring Break.
 
Make-up Pictures for Youth Spring Sports: April 24, 12:00-2:00. If your child did not have their pictures made you may bring them anytime between 12:00 and 2:00 to have their make-ups taken. Check in behind Roger's Field. Pictures will be taken rain or shine.
 

Summer Camps - Now Registering for Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball and Sports Camps I & II. You may register in the CAC or online (Online registration is not available for Sports Camps I & II - register in the CAC). Fitness

Spring Fitness Series has begun- Come sign up for one of our many classes. Zumba, Boot Camp, Cardio Strength, (New) Muscle Pump , Body Sculpting, Pilates, and Yoga. New schedule available online. Career Ministry

Mt. Bethel's Career Ministry meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month. Please join us at 6:30pm in F015 for a time of networking and resume review. The program starts at 7:30pm in F011. Upcoming programs are:

April 13- "Boomers' Winning Job Strategies-Overcoming Being Called Overqualified" - the newest presentation by our Career Ministry team. In the current highly competitive marketplace for jobs many Baby Boomers, older job seekers, and highly experiences job seekers are being told that they are "overqualified" or "overpaid" for both. This workshop will address these issues from the hiring manager's point of view and provide strategies for job seekers to overcome these perceptions.

WALK FOR LIFE - just a 2-mile walk to benefit the HOPE Center on May 8, the Saturday before Mother's Day. Hobgood Park, 8688 Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock, 8:30-10:00am. We need walkers and sponsors. If you cannot make it to Hobgood Park, you can walk wherever with some friends, but still get your sponsors. It's easy, just register online or pick up a form in the connector before/after the service on Sunday, April 11. Pledge as little as $100 and that's just 10 friends at $10 ea. Announcing the 6th Annual Camp Hope® Golf Tournament on Monday, April 26, at the Woodmont Golf and Country Club in Canton, GA. The tournament will begin at 9:30am. Individuals may play for $250. Clothing Sale Disbursements: It's time again to disburse the spring clothing sale proceeds to mission and missionaries locally and around the world. If you or someone you know, or a nonprofit organization that you are involved in, would like to apply for a portion of these funds, the deadline is April 19. Grief Support Group: If you are dealing with the grief of losing an aging loved one, join us on Monday, April 12, at 10:30am at Mt. Bethel Community Center, 4608 Lower Roswell Road.
