Raul Ortega, Information Security Officer for the Administrative Office of the Courts, the administrative agency to the Judicial Council of California was instrumental in the development of the agency's latest security implementation.  He will be speaking on the methods, framework structure, security domains & other areas he utilized bringing you a real-world project directly from the source.

ROrtega About the Speaker
Raul Ortega is the Information Security Officer and supervisor of the Network Infrastructure and Security Architecture Services unit for the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), the administrative agency to the Judicial Council of California. He began his career with the AOC in 2002 as a senior technical analyst and was promoted to his current position in 2007.
 
Raul's 16-person unit is responsible for branch-wide information security policy initiatives, the California Courts Telecommunications Program and provides technical expertise and oversight to the California Courts Technology Center (CCTC). The CCTC is comprised of two state-of-the-art data centers, which provide redundant cloud-computing services for enterprise class applications to the state's 58 superior courts, six appellate courts and the California Supreme Court.
 
Raul previously served as an Information Systems Project Director for the San Francisco Airport Commission during the construction of the airport's new international terminal.
