About the Speaker:  Dave McCandless
 
McCandlessDave has 30 years experience in the software industry and has held a variety of positions leading global IT organizations and creating innovative solutions. He is currently the Director of IT for Zebra Enterprise Solutions, the leader in hardware and software solutions that locate, track, manage, and optimize high-value assets, equipment and people across the world's largest supply chains.  His current work in cloud computing and virtualization is revolutionizing the way software solutions are delivered and supported for ZES customers worldwide.
 

Dave is a former instructor at UC Berkeley and frequent lecturer at local universities and industry events. He is an advisor to the Fisher IT Center at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business as well as several emerging cloud-based solution providers. Dave is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and holds BS and MS degrees in computer science from Washington State University and the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
