Very best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from yours2share
2008 reviewed We've had a great 2008 at yours2share. Three new categories have been introduced: from horses, dogs and recently land sharing for vegetable plots and allotments . Our three biggest categories are now horses, boats and Monday to Friday lettings, and yours2share is well established in all three markets. Property has dipped a little over the last six months as the US and UK property markets have been difficult. Predictions for sharing 2009 I expect to see a growth in owners looking for partners to buy a half or third of their property (boat, or mobile home) as people realise this is a way of keeping their second home whilst releasing equity, or reducing costs. Similarly I expect to see an increase in people seeking partners to rent their second home (boat, or mobile home) on a fractional basis, which gives the owners a guaranteed income. I'm delighted that one positive outcome of this year's endless economic woes has been a major expansion of car clubs like Zipcar and Streetcar. I think this will continue and that yours2share will see more people looking for partners for informal car clubs. London Boat Show I shall be at the London Boat Show on Thursday 16th January 2009. I'd be be delighted to meet up with anyone who wants to find out more about boat sharing there. Drop me a line and we'll arrange a time and place to meet for a coffee.
