Dear DuPage Dems,
I want to
thank all of you for the trust you have placed in us to continue implementing
our plan to build a viable Democratic organization in DuPage County. I want to
thank Michelle Barton who served as our First Vice-Chair for the past
2 years. She decided not to run in order to focus on her family and career
obligations. Michelle will remain an active member of the Democratic Party of
DuPage County.
Aileen Eilert has agreed to step up
into this position, and we are fortunate to have her skills and expertise as we
move our organization to the next level. Aileen has been an active member and
officer of the Lisle Township Regular Democratic Organization.
Bob Jeffers has once again agreed to
take on the responsibility as our treasurer. Bob has been the treasurer of the
DPDC for many years and has done an outstanding job. We are fortunate to have
him in the role for the next 2 years.

In this
primary election, we were able to elect 221 precinct committeemen. When we took
on the job of growing and strengthening the organization, there were only 117.
With the appointed precinct committee expected in the next few weeks, we should
have well in excess of 300. Our goal
this term is to increase our precinct committeeman base to over 400. That
will take work and dedication by our townships and the county leadership team and
we know interested Democrats are out there and just waiting to be asked to join the team. YOU ARE ON THE FRONT LINE OUT THERE...ASK THEM!
My congrats to Matt DuPree and to the Gala Committee! Bob Peickert, DPDC Chair
