IF EVERYONE READING THIS CAN GIVE TODAY>>>>>>>>
Dear DuPage Dems,
All
successful ventures require good advanced planning and early investment. The venture toward electing better and more humane government in DuPage County requires just such planning and funding.
Early "seed money" allows us to be prepared to reap
opportunities that come along down the road (including financial matching from other supporters). With donations received now, we will purchase
the tools and technology, the volunteer materials and database updates
necessary to fully support the many qualified candidates we are
presently recruiting.
Money later on is good, too (we'd never look down our nose at any
donor's generosity) but money given NOW will go farther.
If every
person who pulled a Democratic Ballot in the 2008 primary gave DPDC
just 5 bucks, we would have over $650,000 and be on firm
footing for 2010 and WAY beyond (not to mention the abject fear our opponents would experience). Since that is unlikely to happen, we
are asking everyone who comes to our ACT BLUE page to consider giving $120 or
the equivalent of $10 a month.
Everyone who gives at least $100 between today (July 9) and Monday (July 13th) will be entered into a drawing for VIP
tickets to Rockin' for the Troops on July 18th at Cantigny (a $50 value not including the VIP buffet).
PLEASE GIVE TODAY SO THAT WE CAN INVEST YOUR GIFT IN THE TOOLS WE NEED TO VOTE IN A BETTER TOMORROW!
Bob Peickert, DPDC Chair
