APRIL 30, 2009
Before we get too far into this missive, we have a few words to say about the Swine Flu, but they are better said by this YouTube video. Please, if you are sick, or your kids are sick, stay home. Make some emergency plans for possible school closings. Keep yourself healthy by sleeping and eating well. AND, whatever you do, DO NOT watch FOX News, as it is spreading the disease like wild fire!

Dear DuPage Dems,
Last weekend, we had a chance to network with other Democrats around the state in Springfield as we attended the Illinois Democratic Chairs Meeting and the Annual Dinner and Scholarship Presentation by the Illinois Democratic Women.
Much of what we discussed revolved around sharing the VERY positive message of the great things Democrats have been doing in the last few years. For example, Dan Hynes has produced a transparency tool for tracing political contributions. Please go here to see the website. These are the kinds of reforms we need in DuPage and will fight for in the coming months and years. These are also the things will be discussing on May 14th at the Central Committee Meeting - our message and strategies to deliver that message between now and primary 2010.
PLEASE RSVP today that you plan to attend, by clicking here!
Congratulations to Laura Fletcher of Wayne township who was recently elected membership director of Illinois Democratic Women. Please contact her here if you would like to learn more.
Here are a few photos from that evening, a delicious dinner served at the Governor's Mansion.
Look forward to seeing all of our precinct team at IBEW on May 14th!
THANKS!
Bob Peickert, DPDC Chair
