Dear Friends,
I would like to thank all of your for your support and hard work in the College of DuPage election and your local township races. Winning three seats on the C.O.D. board was a signficant accomplishment that could not have been achieved without reaching out to your networks of family and friends. The work is just beginning and I hope that all of you will have continued interest in the college. It is anticipated that the outgoing board will pass some unsavory items at its regular meeting on Thursday, April 16, including the 10 policies that were put on hold and changes to President Breuder's contract. Dear DuPage Dems,

It is exciting to belong to a community of people who really care and I thank all of you for your help and support in last week's election which will bring about very positive changes in the governance of the College of DuPage.

We also have several events around the corner which give us a chance to reach into the larger pool of community interaction. Just for FUN we have the Northern Illinois Food Bank bowling tourney on either April 21 or May 13.

On April 24th, the Glen Ellyn Lion's Club has extended an invitation to join them for a spaghetti feast benefitting the good work they do. ONLY 5$ a head...a great treat to take the burden off the chef in your house on a Friday night!

Wellstone Action's signature weekend training program provides hands-on, practical training in grassroots politics for citizen activists, campaign workers, and people interested in running for office.
Camp Wellstone trainings run from 3:00 pm Friday to 3:30 pm on Sunday.  The training locations are announced to registered participants.
