The Executive Committee of DPDC recently adopted a resolution in support of Illinois House Bill 311.
LET'S GO DOWN TO SPRINGFIELD AND SHOW THEM WE MEAN IT!

Health Care for All Illinois, the National Nurses Organization and other Single-Payer Coalition members will be joining Champions Mary Flowers and Dr. Quentin Young for a press conference,before the committee hearing where HB 311 will be passed out of committee.  Then in the evening - Dr. Young will be hosting a cocktail hour and dinner at the Governor's Mansion.
Governor Quinn is confirmed to attend.

COCKTAIL PARTY IS $10 EXTRA AND WE NEED TO KNOW IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND THAT PART WHEN YOU SEND THE EMAIL TO RESERVE (OTHERWISE YOU CAN GET A BITE TO EAT AND RECONNECT WITH THE BUS AT 6:30 SHARP!)

Just got in from walking around my precinct, Addison 8, on this great day!! More and more I hear very positive comments of appreciation when talking to folks at their doors about electing Democrats. If you have never done it before or haven't found the time to do it yet, please plan on getting out in your neighborhood this coming week.

We have volunteers in the office who will help you get organized to walk your neighborhood. Just give us a call at 630-629-1125 to let us know what you need.
