President Obama is hoping for the people of America to force his hand and DEMAND Healthcare for All Americans. Some call it MEDICARE FOR ALL, some call it SINGLE PAYER. Whatever you call it, it is inevitable, it is what a majority of American's want and it is the right thing to do.
The Executive Committee of DPDC recently adopted a resolution in support of Illinois House Bill 311.
LET'S GO DOWN TO SPRINGFIELD AND SHOW THEM WE MEAN IT!

the National Nurses Organization and other Single-Payer Coalition members will be joining Champions Mary Flowers and Dr. Quentin Young for a press conference,before the committee hearing where HB 311 will be passed out of committee. Then in the evening - Dr. Young will be hosting a cocktail hour and dinner at the Governor's Mansion.
Governor Quinn is confirmed to attend.
WE WILL LEAVE ON A BUS FROM THE DPDC PARKING LOT ON MARCH 24TH AT 8:30 TO GO TO SPRINGFIELD.
A SACK LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.
THE BUS WILL RETURN AFTER COCKTAIL HOUR AND BE IN LOMBARD BY 10 P.M.
SPACE IS LIMITED. PLEASE RESERVE TODAY.

Dear DuPage Dems,
As many of you may know, President Obama is using his netroot forces to join hands with other working Dems to get the word out about the things we all care about...HEALTH, EDUCATION and the ECONOMY! The President's local team will be joining our efforts to reach out across the county on March 21st and will help us link with those who may not have previous ties to the DPDC. This can only grow our team and make our outreach that much more effective.
We will have a short training for our canvassers at our March 21st SPRING INTO ACTION event on how to talk to voters about supporting these issues while we are letting them know about how acting locally can help bring about these changes.
It is a truly winning combination and we hope you plan to call us to let us know you will be walking a precinct on March 21st and sharing our message throughout DuPage. Please call 630-629-1125 by the 18th to let us know you're on board!!
