POST-ELECTION ROUND-UP
Thanks to all the folks who made our Election Day so productive and interesting. We had too many poll-watchers to name individually but thanks. Thanks to our election attorney Justin Major who did a yeoman's job running hither and yon putting out various fires. Though we will be putting a report together soon, a few things became obvious as areas for concern in November (and before):

MOTOR VOTER is not a good way to register and we should ask folks who have used it to follow-up immediately with the Election Commission.

SENATE BILL 662 says that the judges SHALL give you poll tapes at the end of the night. Please see definition 3
shall      [shal; unstressed shuhl] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
-auxiliary verb, present singular 1st person shall, 2nd shall or (Archaic) shalt, 3rd shall, present plural shall; past singular 1st person should, 2nd should or (Archaic) shouldst or shouldˇest, 3rd should, past plural should; imperative, infinitive, and participles lacking.
1.    plan to, intend to, or expect to: I shall go later.
2.    will have to, is determined to, or definitely will: You shall do it. He shall do it.
3.    (in laws, directives, etc.) must; is or are obliged to: The meetings of the council shall be public.
WE WILL BE MAKING SURE THAT, IN NOVEMBER, EVERYONE WALKS AWAY WITH TAPES FROM BOTH MACHINES

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT we load our polls up with good Dem judges who will give us running tallies of who has voted upon request, ensure a generally civil and pleasant atmosphere within the polling place, allow our poll-watchers every right and freedom guaranteed to them under election law.

MORE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

happy I AM SO EXCITED!! WHAT CAN I DO NEXT TO TURN DUPAGE BLUE???

#1  If you are a Precinct Committeman-elect, you can MAKE SURE TO VOTE, PLEDGING 100 % of YOUR PRECINCT'S WEIGHTED VOTE  TO PEICKERT AND BARTON, IN THE COUNTY CONVENTION ON MARCH 5th!! Keep watching for Details. GO HERE to see how you did in your precinct )write-ins won't be up until Feb 26th)

#2  If you have been reading these emails and wondering if you live in a VACANT precinct, LET'S FIND OUT and get you appointed immediately after the March 5th election.

#3 If you know you have a committeeman already or know your talents would be better used elsewhere, NOW is the time to TELL US what those talents are and explore how they can best be employed to change the political conversation HERE in our formerly Republican county and throughout the country. Many people have mentioned things they'd like to do in the last few months. If we have not gotten back to you on something you have suggested, please contact us again very soon!

We'll have more ideas for you next week!
