UPCOMING EVENTS:IMPORTANT NOTE. The date for the County Convention previously given according to the County Dems By-Laws is INCORRECT. The date mandated by state statute is WEDNESDAY MARCH 5th. Place will be announced soon but PCs PLEASE put this on your calendar now and please keep that date free.
Dec 18th: JOINT HOLIDAY PARTY! OTDB and the DuPage Dems will share some good cheer at the Empress in Addison 7-9:30 (MAP)
Dec 31st: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2008 will be OUR year if we all work together.
JAN 8th: OTDB Meeting 7-9 John's Pizzeria. 100 E Lake near the Empress in Addison. This is an especially important meeting for NEW Precinct Committeemen (ballotted and write-in) to attend as we will hand out materials for your precinct that evening, talk about Dynamic Precinct work and getting your Dem voters out to the polls. FREE PIZZA and soft drinks will be served.
January 8th: Last Day to Register Voters for the Primary. Registrations MUST be turned into Election Commission that day.
Jan 2-31. ABSENTEE BALLOTING. Since there have been many concerns raised about the integrity of the Early Voting Touch Screen systems, we encourage all who can to vote Absentee if they can't vote on election day or are working the election that day,
