Panini America Inks Pop Warner Alum Andrew Luck
Panini America, the world’s largest sports and entertainment collectibles company, recently announced they had reached a trading card agreement with former Pop Warner superstar quarterback Andrew Luck for the 2012 season.
Luck was awarded the Walter Camp Award as National Player of the Year, Maxwell Award and First Team All-American honors last season on the strength of 3,517 passing yards and 39 total touchdowns. As reported by Colts.com, Andrew’s father Oliver Luck coached his son in Pop Warner football.
Panini America also signed an agreement with Washington Redskins quarterback and 2011 Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III for the 2012 season. Luck and Griffin, as well as 33 other NFL rookies recently attended the 2012 NFLPA Rookie Premiere.
