Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) and Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) have teamed up once again to recognize outstanding "Double-Goal" football and cheer coaches from across the country.  Pop Warner will identify 4-6 youth football and cheer coaches to be the finalists for the 2011 Pop Warner Double-Goal Coach of the Year Award. 

The award will be presented to one (1) football and one (1) cheer coach at the 51st Annual Pop Warner Scholastic Events in Chicago, IL on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28, 2011.   

The deadline is approaching, so nominate a coach today. The nomination form must be received by Friday, April 22, 2011.  Also, to be selected, the coach must be able to attend the 2011 Pop Warner Scholastic Event in Chicago, IL on May 27th and May 28th.

HOW TO NOMINATE A COACH:

Can you think of a coach in your league who deserves to be recognized as a Double-Goal Coach?  Perhaps your league gave positive coaching awards last season, and you can identify a coach from this group.  Or maybe you have someone else in mind?  Remember, these are coaches who want to win (#1 goal) but have a second, more important goal – to help players develop positive character traits that will help them be successful in life.

To nominate a coach for the 2011 Double-Goal Coach of the Year Award, please fill out the 2011 nomination form and email, fax or mail it to Positive Coaching Alliance for consideration.
