2010 National Championship Travel Grants

For the third consecutive year, Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is pleased to announce it is able to offer Pop Warner Travel Grants for ELIGIBLE POP WARNER FOOTBALL TEAMS AND CHEER/DANCE SQUADS that have qualified for the Pop Warner Super Bowl or National Cheer and Dance Championships. Deadline to apply for a 2010 Travel Grant is Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 5 p.m. EST.

Backyard Sports Rookie Rush Video Contest

Pop Warner recently announced a sponsorship program involving Backyard Sports® Rookie Rush, a football video game manufactured by Atari, Inc., global producer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software for interactive game platforms.

In conjunction with the Atari sponsorship program, Pop Warner also announced the launch of a video contest for Pop Warner football teams.  The Rookie Rush – Pop Warner Video Contest will allow Pop Warner football teams across the country to submit video entries to become the official 2011 Backyard Sports® Rookie Rush sponsored team. Users can vote on their favorite videos from November 11th to November 30th, 2010, and the winning team, announced at the 2010 Pop Warner Super Bowl, will receive uniforms, football equipment and recognition on both Pop Warner and Atari’s websites. 

Pop Warner's Jake Zembiec is One of Three Finalists for SI Kids' 2010 SportsKid of the Year

The three finalists for this year's SI Kids 2010 SportsKid of the year were recently announced, and Pop Warner's Jake Zembiec is one of this year's finalists! Zembiec is a quarterback and linebacker for the Ogden Bears Pop Warner team in Western NY Pop Warner, and was competing against nine other students for the honor of being named 2010 Sports Kid of the Year.

Panini's New NFL Sticker Collection and Album

2011 PCA Double-Goal Coach Aaward

Pop Warner Little Scholars Football and Cheer Coaches are some of the most giving people in thousands of communities. Players and parents can give back to those coaches by nominating them for PCA's Double-Goal Coach Award Presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance.

If you know a Double-Goal Coach, whose first goal is winning, and whose second, more-important goal is teaching life lessons through sports, nominate him or her by clicking here. Winners of this prestigious national award receive a $250 cash award, a plaque, and recognition in PCA's publications, website and media campaigns as well as on ResponsibleSports.com.
