Pop Warner is excited to be holding its Inaugural National Convention!

The Convention is designed to promote dialogue amongst Pop Warner coaches and administrators nationwide and offer hands on training and instruction in Pop Warner policies and techniques.

Well renowned experts will demonstrate best practices and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues common to many programs. Attendees can learn firsthand about Pop Warner philosophies and procedures and listen to the experiences of other Pop Warner administrators and coaches. The event will also offer interaction with Pop Warner staff and business partners and showcase Pop Warner products and services.

This year’s National Convention is being held at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott Hotel and will feature a variety of activities including Cheer & Dance Clinics & Training Courses, Football Instruction Training Courses, Administrative Training Classes, Pop Warner Products & Vendors Exhibit, Keynote Speeches and Open Forums as well as a welcome reception on Thursday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m.

The Convention culminates Saturday evening May 29th with the 50th Anniversary Scholastic Banquet wherein everyone can celebrate the accomplishments of the 2009-10 Pop Warner National Scholar Athletes and the achievements of our award winners and Volunteers of the Year.

We will be holding our 5th & 6th Grade Tribute Event on Friday, May 28 followed by the 7th & 8th+ Grade Tribute Event on Saturday morning. Later that evening, come join us for the 50th Annual Pop Warner Scholastic Banquet, taking place on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the newly renovated Pennsylvania Convention Center in the heart of downtown Philadelphia.
