Purpose of Astraea

"Another part of My Responsibility to Life and My great Privilege of Service, as in the Service performed by the Beloved Astraea, is the Cleansing of the psychic substance in the atmosphere of Earth which is released through the emotional bodies of mankind and which must be purified enough to bring the mass of the energy of each Life Stream to the point where it is Pure enough to be raised into the next more Powerful Activity of Life's Divine Plan."

Free fall

Eckhart Tolle
The words of today's quote are attributed to the Buddha:

"In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves".

This is a helpful pointer for our everyday presence-practice. Can you catch yourself angrily defending your point of view or attacking the other person's?

There's the ego. Once you take the 'self' out of your mental positions, you can still forcefully state your viewpoint, but without violence. Or you can drop the whole thing. (Many controversies are merely exercises in self-seeking and completely pointless.)

Be well, be at peace.

Occupy

Occupy
Wall Street
~ September 17th, 2011

I should however address the global economic situation. A decade of war, years of economic decline, jobs being shipped overseas, people with enormous student loans unable to find work, the economy riding from bubble to bubble, and moral outrage about huge bank bailouts with the resultant bonuses to top executives, corporations reaping profits et al, There are millions of people for whom the economic system is not working. The unemployment rate and poverty rates are increasing. People are having trouble feeding their family. We do not have to be an economist to understand this is a problem.

I have been waiting for this economic meltdown since 2000 and the end of the Clinton era. All the behind the scenes and in front of the scenes economic corrections the system has in its tool box have been deployed and they are no longer working. The people, who create these problems, making huge profits, are nervous. They know that everyone else is starting to figure out what happened. "What nobody is comfortable with is a movement in which virtually the entire spectrum of middle class and poor is on the same page, railing against incestuous political and financial corruption."

In astrology this is represented by the Uranus-Pluto cycle. Put these two planets together and startling things happen. They shakeup the accumulated material, outdated ideas, stuck institutions and stuck people. It is almost always a revolutionary era. Uranus has the themes of sudden upheaval, surprises, invention and forward-thinking. Events proceed quickly, expect the unexpected, and work with it rather than against it.

Pluto takes anything it touches deeper. In the psyche it is related to the drive to make contact with one's soul, as well as profound transformations. In society, Pluto produces control dramas and profound restructuring of cultural institutions like the government, banks, corporations and the world economy.

Pluto usually represents the social aspects of life that are "beyond our control" but when Juno, the symbol of commitment conjoined with Saturn the symbol of social structure in Libra the sign of relationship there was a rallying of opposition against these untouchables.

Emporer Moth

The Emperor Moth

A man found a cocoon of an emperor moth. He took it home so that he could watch the moth come out of the cocoon. On the day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the moth for several hours as the moth struggled to force the body through that little hole.

The moth seemed to be stuck and appeared to have stopped making progress. It seemed as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther. The man, in his kindness, decided to help the moth; so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The moth then emerged easily. But its body was swollen and small, its wings wrinkled and shrivelled. The man continued to watch the moth because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to and able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the little moth spent the rest of its life crawling around with a small, swollen body and shrivelled wings. It never was able to fly.

The man in his kindness and haste did not understand that the struggle required for the moth to get through the tiny opening was necessary to force fluid from the body of the moth into its wings so that it would be ready for flight upon achieving its freedom from the cocoon. Freedom and flight would only come after the struggle. By depriving the moth of a struggle, he deprived the moth of health.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets, and don't forget the power in the struggle.

Two wolves

Grandfather Tells
~ The Wolves Within
~ A Cherokee Legend

An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.

I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do.

But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times." He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me. One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him, and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.

But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.

Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."

The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"

The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."

Joletta's Key

Joletta's  Key

Originating in Southern France in the 17th Century, the legend of Joletta's Key reaffirms the power of a determined individual who can achieve victory against all odds.

Joletta was a handsome woman who was afflicted with severe back problems which caused her to walk with a noticeable limp. Although encumbered with chronic pain, Joletta not only married and had several children; she achieved spectacular success in a man's world.

Despite her humble beginnings, Joletta became an enormously wealthy landowner and was renowned for treating her workers fairly and generously. She was beloved by everyone who crossed her path.

Joletta carried a unique good luck piece shaped in the form of a key, which she attributed to unlocking the doors to success in any endeavour of her choosing. It later became known as Joletta's Key

Common Sense

Common Sense Obituary

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:-Knowing when to come in out of the rain; - Why the early bird gets the worm;- Life isn't always fair; - And maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies, don't spend more than you can earn and adults, not children, are in charge. His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, I Want It Now, Someone Else Is To Blame, I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, do nothing

Guide Explains Animals' Evolution

Wisdom from the Land of Love and Light Beyond

~ Silver Birch

Over the years, the subject of animals was raised on various occasions when Silver Birch spoke at the Hannen Swaffer home circle. His trance medium was Spiritualist editor and author Maurice Barbanell. Here we join the guide as he answers the question, "If the reason for life is to learn love and compassion, why does nature set such a bad example by allowing predators?"

Nature does not set anyone a bad example. Nature is an expression of the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit is perfect. The Laws of the Great Spirit are perfect.

Left to its own devices, nature will always achieve the right balance and harmony. If man lived in harmony with nature, your world would be paradise, a kingdom of heaven.

There are predators, but that is part of the way nature ensures the survival of the fittest. Yet that is only one aspect of natural law at work. The essence of nature is cooperation.

Nature is symbiotic. You, for example, are a gardener. If you prepare your garden and cooperation with nature, the results are beautiful. Man is the predator in your world, the greatest destructive creature that has been known for many millions of years.

Another question came from a woman who, saying she had a great respect for all life, asked, "Is it wrong to spray with insecticides to try to prevent malaria, sleeping sickness, etc?"

Of course you must have respect for all live, but this is a question of motive and of degree. If you have conditions where, due to certain circumstances, there are the kinds of insects that cause disease, then your motive in using sprays is a good one.

Respect for life must be tempered with the necessity of ensuring there are conditions in which it can flourish. Similarly, if you have houses infested with bugs, it is easier to spray and get rid of them if your motive is to improve the health of those who dwell there.

"If an animal on earth develops human qualities, such as noble sentiments and intelligence, will it remain an animal without any chance of further evolution or may it in time step into the human realm?"

Evolution is part of a natural law. It has a mainstream and many tributaries, but all are part of the same law.

The spirit within you is in essence the same spirit within the animal. There is no difference in essence, but only in degree. Potentially, being infinite, the spirit can achieve the tremendous expression latent in man or animal, but spiritually it is all part of one path.

Who is to determine where spirit has branched off to be expressed through an animal as distinct from branching off to be expressed through a man? I do not see the problem there at all.

"Does an animal evolve in a similar way to man?"

It follows its own path of evolution. It is part of the same pattern which is behind all evolution; it is a development.

If I say to you, "Do all children evolve in the same way as their parents?" the answer is "Yes" and "No."

They have a predestined pattern which they must follow, but within that there is a certain amount of free will regulated by the awareness reached at stages of unfoldment. Everything which has spirit is capable of infinite development.

After listening to comments made by circle members, the guide said:

Animals follow their line of evolution according to the part they play in the whole process. The law of cause and effect is immutable. Whatever is must be the result of what was. The animal is an essential part of the evolutionary plan, just like the tree, the ocean and everything in nature.

The link is the unifying spirit. All life is one. You have a relationship not only with animals, but with all wherever there is life. They will follow their preordained paths.

The extent to which they develop is governed by that part of the law which applies to them, as it applies to a flower, a tree, a bird, to the beasts of the field or to a human being.

"Can an animal therefore break its own law?"

Only in a sense that you contravene a law, but it will operate just the same. You can transgress, but you cannot break the law in the sense of preventing effect from following cause.

"Could an animal every do anything for which it can be blamed spiritually?"

Yes, if it transgressed the operation of natural law. There are rogue animals just as there are rogue human beings.

"If a human is bad, he has a conscience. If an animal is a rogue animal, there are reasons."

It is still subject to the law of cause and effect. I cannot alter the law.

"It has been said by many guides that when an animal dies it returns to a group soul. However; there is considerable evidence for animal survival. Could you enlighten us on this apparent paradox?"

There is individual survival for domestic animals that have had association with humans. Thus they have been helped to achieve an individual evolution that is not possible with animals who are still in a group soul, or soul group, even on earth.

It is part of the wonderful relationship that can exist between humans and animals, each helping the other to develop spiritually. You help the animal that comes into your surroundings to achieve a consciousness that is more personal and individual than it otherwise would have been.

It is that which survives death. But where there is not this more evolved "human" expression, it joins the soul group or group soul.

This led a circle member to comment: "I feel that as humans develop under present circumstances and know more and more about animal life, this too will help animals. This is so because we have proved that kindness affects animals."

"If you are kind to a wild baby animal, it has demonstrated in many cases that it grows to have human characteristics."

"This is because all life is one." Said another member. Silver Birch replied:

These are all branches of the evolutionary tree. These are all developments of the evolutionary pathway. In all such matters kindness produces kindness, compassion produces compassion, love produces love and hate produces hate.

You must follow the highest ideals. In doing so, you are helping one another in your evolution, the animal and the human, because all life is one life. There are physical divisions, but spiritually all are one.

"When the animal is no longer in contact with the person who is the cause of its progress, does it then slowly begin to return to the group soul or is it in a kind of limbo?"

All the animals associated with you will be there to greet you when you come here. They will stay with you as long as it is necessary to do so because you have helped them to gain an individuality that cannot be dissolved and this will be perpetuated. It is the individuality that persists.

"Is it the intention that all such animals shall gain this individuality in association with human beings, that all animals shall have consciousness in their own right?"

Yes. As man radiates love in his thinking and his actions towards all the animals, then in return they will radiate love and, as it says in your Bible about the wolf and the lamb, man will lie down with them at the same time.

"In order to sustain life, man has no alternative but to take plant life, filch fowls' eggs and cows' milk or, more savagely, slaughter animals. How can such robber sustenance be reconciled with an all-beneficent Creator without offence to that reason which you, often enough, have bidden us not to disregard?"

Don't blame the Creator because you kill animals. The choice is yours. You do not have to kill them, but in any case the answer is very simple. Your evolution will decide for you what you should do in all these matters.

If you have any doubts, your conscience will give its added answer. You are responsible for that you do and all your actions will affect your spiritual nature.

An added factor is your motive. If your motive is clearly good and you have to kill, then that obviously produces an ameliorative result in your development.

You cannot cheat the spiritual laws because they are based on cause and effect, reaping and sowing. Everything you do, think and say has an automatic, inflexible result; no cheating is possible.

If you do wrong consciously, then you are responsible for it. Your shoulders must bear the burden that result.

If you do good because you desire to do so, not for vanity's sake, because the motive then is poor, but because your soul desires to serve, then by the very fact of that happening you must be spiritually better for it. This is the law that will always operate.

I have always said that it is preferable not to be involved in consuming food that bears the mark of Cain upon it. Killing is wrong, though sometimes motive must of necessity be taken into account.

Those who desire spiritual mastery must be prepared to pay the price and live in harmony with the natural laws of the universe. These are spiritual in origin. The aspects of the spirit are always the same ~ love, compassion, tolerance, sympathy and cooperation.

If you follow these principles, you will find you are being led to eat aright, to think aright, to live aright. But yours is the responsibility for deciding because the Great Spirit has endowed you with the gift of free will.

"Perhaps you would like to say something about the latest problems in factory farms. Antibiotics and other drugs given to animals are finding their way back into the people that eat their flesh."

It is part of nature's eternal cycle that if you inflict suffering on others you must pay the price for it. You cannot be cruel to others and escape the result of your cruelty.

If, because of greed, and for no other reason, you imprison animals and deprive them of their natural rights, then you are creating a vicious circle. The law of cause and effect operates with the result that you must suffer.

Only through compassion, love mercy, kindliness and cooperation do you achieve the best that the whole of nature has to offer, whether it be animal, vegetable, flower, bird or human.

Listening is A Psychic Art

If there is one thing that I have learned with astrology ~ that is to listen.

Listening is what astrologer's do.

Astrologers listen to the messengers in the Solar System as they interact with the Earth plane.

These include our occasional visitors, like comets and asteroids, as well as solar flares, meteor showers and the phenomena of eclipse or alignment. But listening is an art form. It will not do to ascertain a definition of the planets from a textbook and apply that literally or lineally to an event or human condition. Although this is what the student of astrology must be trained to do in order to develop their listening skills.

Astrological listening occurs at the molecular level. I guess you could form a relationship between the art of astrological listening and the art of acting. In acting we assume roles that have been written out for us as a play, movie script or as television shows. In astrology, the astrologer 'puts on' the planetary chemistry of their client in order to relate to their client and know what it is to be like to be them. Conversely, when dealing with past lives, reincarnational lessons and karmic conditions, the astrologer will regress with their psychic screen to relive the conditions of previous lives through the reactivation of the symbols involved. Diversely, the astrologer will put themselves in the client's position when looking at forecasting the future. Feeling responsible for the consequences of the alternatives, the astrologer processes the options and unfolding conditions as they are revealed in the progressed symbolic vision.

The astrologer cannot be a pure channel for their client if they do not understand the art of clearing their screen. That means coming to the session with no previously formed thoughts and sharing the insights you receive with your client at their conception. If the astrologer is going through personal problems, there is a likelihood that the client's issues will resonate with the astrologer's challenges. It is very important for the Astrologer to make no assumptions and to discover the magic of astrological resolution in entertaining the newfound information each individual brings with them. In this way the Astrologer can solve not only the client's problems, but in the reflection of the solution unique to the client, the astrologer can gain growth and progress in their own conflict resolution.

Are you surprised that an Astrologer, Tarot Reader or Psychic would have their own predicaments, karmic lessons or challenging soul growth? Remember what makes most psychiatrists become psychiatrists, if you don't know, it is usually their psychological perplexities. Not only does the seer have the same life challenges as most people, they are in fact augmented and they become more difficult as the soul grows. Sometimes I wonder if my life wasn't scripted to be an experience of all that plagues the human condition so that I might understand from the inside out and be able to help with little obscurity. By knowing exactly what a person is faced with, you can split yourself off and explore the steps to resolution that the client needs to follow because of personal knowledge of that self-same predicament. But not only will you be able to figure out a strategy for the client to follow, you can deliver the message with an empathy that leaves little doubt that you understand.

For me listening comes from the art of achieving the still point; the place where I know "no thing;" the clear reflecting pond that can channel the psychic sight. Through the technical analysis of the planetary placements and configurations, the language of the person's horoscope is their own. Most times the words and examples that come through the planetary chart are specific preferences of the client. The messages that come from the planetary placements create the inner vision that gives me the word, for example, "skydiving" when it is your peculiar preference. The astrologer speaks to the inner person, speaking of things that are intimate and most likely unknown to anyone else. This is why an astrological session gives so much clarity and resolution, because it speaks to you as if it were you speaking to yourself. But it can only do so if the Astrologer is listening.

Some astrological sessions can be too technical, something that would make sense to the astrologer but be of little applicable use to the client. We can all be amused for some time with the constructs of Ascendant, Moon and Sun, the planetary uniqueness in each of the signs and houses and their configurations. But this is the linear intellectual process that is more rational and so much the characteristic of the Air Signs; Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Other sessions can be too primary, or a simple reiteration of written material accumulated prior to the session. The quality and applicability of such a session will depend upon which authors the astrologer has referenced. Sometimes an astrologer cannot remain non-partisan of new-age fads in their consultations. This acknowledgement-based enthusiasm is most characteristic of the Fire Signs; Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

Then again, an astrologer can be too subjective, too personally persuasive, biased in personal values or beliefs and their insights therefore not custom made to fit their client. This type of astrologer may be too caught up in their own past and offering personal insights, cautions and protective guidance from a more fear based position. This would be characteristic of the Water Signs; Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces.

From most astrological sessions you can receive some applicable common sense, compassionate understanding and empathic advice. You can gain a cohesiveness of intention that grounds you on a path of purpose. This is the functionality of the Earth Signs; Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.

If we are listening, our body will be the receiver and transmitter of what is true. If we are speaking, thinking or acting out, we are not listening. We can all hear the resonance of truth if we are still enough. If you are a parent you know when your child tells you something that "rings true" or not. In our day to day life we simply confuse ourselves most of the time. We let stray fears or worries, other people's influence, suspicions, assumptions, bias and emotions, interfere with what we experience.

In the astrological session we cut away those peripherals and come to resolution that resonates with what is true for you. But to get the most out of the session, the client has to listen. Being too focused on specifics will narrow your comprehension. This gives the astrologer extra work. Sometimes an explanation has to be repeated in different ways with just the right words so it can be received. Although what was said in the first place did not seem to apply, after further discussion the client finally hears what is being said. But they have to listen and dialogue. The astrologer and client need to work together to refine resolution.

Soul Retrieval: Return to Wholeness

The Spirit of Earth carries us all with devotion and empowers us to imbue our unique gift into the world as we manifest Heaven through our presence on the Earth.

This is our sacred task, to bless the Earth.

Our essential self is full of joy, energy and light-an inner golden, multi-faceted brilliance that is our Soul Song. These facets are vibrational aspects of being that make upthe whole of who we are and support our path in life,

empowering us to fulfil our destiny.

Shock and trauma will dislodge certain of these soul aspects leaving us feeling as though something is missing inside, with residual symptoms such as depression, fatigue, feeling dispirited, ungrounded and disconnected from our life mission.

In ancient cultures, when soul loss occurred, the person would receive help within a few days. For us, often decades will have

passed before we recognize or seek help for the problem. For this reason, in my own experience as a practitioner, the Soul Retrieval work is most empowering as a process through a course of sessions.

The shamanic worldview is of oneness with all of life. When our

Soul Self is intact, we experience this oneness and a sharing of our Soul Song vibrationally through our heart center, making a difference to the whole.

During a Soul Retrieval ceremony, a person's returning soul parts

are given back through the shaman's breath into their heart center. The recipient may feel a sense of radiance filling the heart chakraand spreading throughout the body. Joy may come, along with an initial sadness for all the years lived without these vital aspects of being. Further guidance after a Soul Retrieval is essential to the empowerment

process in order to integrate the new gifts of spiritual energy into one's life.

During these intensely transformational times on the earth our ability to carry the new energy in our bodies is determined by our grounding connection to the earth along with our full and open hearts. We are the children of the Earth and we are being called to be the Blessing!

Greetings!
Life is a Beach
Hello Again! Welcome to Fall.

I have chosen the time of Scorpio to resume publishing the Planetary Alchemist. The summer on the coast was just too short and needed to be prolonged with the good weather. While the Month of Libra ushers in the Fall Season, during the Month of Scorpio we are intensely involved in the increasing darkness. Daylight savings time reverses. Northern climates experience the vegetation breaking down, regenerating back into the earth as the growing season comes firmly to an end. This signals the need to go within and start questing, questioning and concentrating on the inner sanctum of our lives.

The Scorpio zone we are entering is equipped with a high degree of psychic receptivity or deeper powers. We access keener powers of observation and insight into human psychology. This is the sphere of black and white, intense, passion and desire but also secrets and complexities. We can use this time to zero in on questions and secrets within. We can learn with depth. But there are a few things to keep in mind. The competition during fearless-no-holds-barred Scorpio can be aggressive. This sector will fuel a stubborn determination to succeed. Also, it is best if we do not pry too much into the privacy of others. Everyone is all too readily suspicious and quick to exit.

It is ominous that the month starts on a Balsamic Moon and ends on a Balsamic Moon. This symbol of rebirth can be used in so many ways. These two 3-4 day periods are the monthly sleep times. Vitality and spirit are replenished. The subconscious sorts and catalogues our experience. When it struggles against or integrates conflicting impulses it clears out our residue of feelings. Creativity renewed, we then receive messages of guidance. It is a better time for introspection than for action. It takes this stage of dormancy to mature seed ideas. The month ahead is ripe with potential.

We are poised between endings and beginnings. There is a kind of karmic finishing up occurring. It is about letting go, releasing, hallowing out and making peace with the past so we can allow our power to create new and better futures. Instincts are likely better than ever. We have a keener sense of the future. We can consciously work to bring form to our future by letting the intuition lead. This is a good time to be inspired. Many planetary aspects this month will increase our sensitivity and extra sensory perception.

A parallel practicum to this inner cleansing would be to go through drawers and closets and throw away what is no longer needed, challenging our attachments and making room for a new self to grow. My suggestion for this month is to move at a slower pace so the old self will unravel more quickly shedding past mistakes, lost hopes, pain or love that never materialized. By slowing down we purge the frozen grief locked up in our bodies that could manifest as disease. We free our soul so it can evolve and ascend.

There has never been a better time to indulge in solitude. The daily hubbub of our lives, the dissonance of people talking, noise pollution, movement, travel, emails, alarms, cell phones, computers and the accelerated hurriedness of the energy that now surrounds us is disturbing. We need to schedule our time outs. Go sit quietly, undisturbed surrounded by nature, music or serenity of some sort. We need to keep our connection to our inner voice or we will get lost.

On Remembrance Day November 11th 2011 there will be an auspicious aspect between planets. The planets represent soulful transition. We have been reminded greatly about the shifts we are making as we move ever closer to 2012. Daily Calendar

23RD The Sun is entering Scorpio, the dark time of the year when we are closest to spirit. It is also the dark of the Moon, the Balsamic Phase, which is a time of creation, new inspiration, rest, recuperation and spiritual retreat. We receive intuitive messages and experience new awarenesses. We will be co-creating our reality which works best in terms of inclusivity, commitment, working out our differences and satisfying everyone's needs. There is, however, a masculine trend with the operating energies that can flush out father issues. For the most difficult choices and conflicts non-traditional answers are needed. Biological memory traces that we are born with, the living record of our ancestors as it exists within our DNA; will be involved in the stirring up of emotional turbulence. Stress creates nervousness and confusion. In survival mode fear acts on our feelings and notions making us more retaliatory, militant and punishing. This is not self-empowering as much as it is assertive.

24TH Juno enters Scorpio. Primarily we are dealing with partnership and contracts between people, marital, business or otherwise. An intense need for equality, exclusivity and control is magnified. Anything less causes an abrupt withdrawal. Territorial issues are strong and secrecy is a concern. Relationships are high maintenance. A magnetic attraction is strongly sexual or a karmic bond. We meet people from our past or connected to our past lifetimes. Issues involving our ancestral past are attachments, agreements and convictions. Secret liaisons can develop.

26TH  Separate from whatever is not working, be responsible, enjoy increased discipline and take up an exercise program. The New Moon is very constructive in what it helps us to achieve so we need to follow our ambitions. Pallas Athena entering Aquarius interrupts consensus agreement and political agendas with additional dimensional input that is gifted and unusual. One time only situations can arise along with unusual expenses and expenditures. Excuses for being cavalier with other's rights are flawed no matter how great the story. We are challenged to work and grow together into an expanded spiritual understanding and mutual healing.

28TH The freedom of new thinking can be triggered by power and control issues as long as we deal with disagreeable situations in a positive way. Personal transformation excels with optimistic belief and inner faith. The increased will power needs to be channelled. Paradox arises between different areas of life that need to actively interface. Be prepared for the unconventional, it can be very enlightening and liberating. Our attempts to assimilate this excitement may not feel satisfactory but there will be personal growth.

29TH As regards our definition of committed relationship, our roles within all forms of relationship and our expectations of parents and children; between now and March 2012 we are working on resolution to conflict and frustration. Boundaries and order have been worked on and now we need to revisit our conflicting subconscious messages and perceptions of what we need in the way of love and nurturance. It is time to discover old response patterns that keep us locked into old programs so we can create new role models to calm the chaos. Personal and social archetypes will evolve during 2012 and 2013 and reach a stage of reconciliation come 2014. The Crescent Moon of promise accentuates this healing process of human evolution. Old dysfunctional role models are dissolving; we are growing beyond family and social traditions by dissecting and reassembling human relationship dynamics.

31ST We need to let go of judgments. The circumstances are out of the ordinary. This may result in a change in our willingness to meet another's standards or demands for approval. It can, however, bring out defiance in those who are expected to meet conditions or standards of approval.

1ST Day of the Dead ~ All Soul's Day

~ Honour your ancestors

"Divine creator, father, mother, son as one; if I, my family, relatives and/or ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives, and/or ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds and/or actions from the beginning of our creation to the present, we ask for your forgiveness. Let this cleanse, purify, release, cut all the negative memories, blocks, energies and vibrations and transmute these unwanted energies into pure light...and it is done" Ho'oponopono

2ND Venus enters Sagittarius. We want to have fun, explore new horizons; be free of restraint thereby be flexibly enthusiastic. Art and music or whatever is natural, large and impressive will take us out of our normal bounds. The First Quarter Moon is great for making mind and soul shifts to a better plane of existence. With Mercury entering Sagittarius a restless curiosity spurs the brain, brings many questions and quickens the mind sometimes making speech too blunt and impulsive. The shifting process can bring shocks, chaos, disorder, patriarchal issues and transmission interruptions. From the positive perspective it also brings insights, breakthrough, universal understanding, transcendence of issues and shifts in dysfunctional patterns.

3RD The flow of procreative energy is best channelled into mental, artistic, healing arts or activist activity. Honour the feminine energy within and integrate it into the intellectual side. Doing this will bring balance between family and career.

5TH Dichotomy may not be as obvious as the enthralling hopes, wishes, expectations and optimisms that are carrying us away. Issues of independence coexist with the appearance of potential. We might hope to change the independence but should realise to hope to do so is not prudent. This can, however, signify a lucky break for some. Faith, belief and trust are strong. Over-optimism and expectation sees what it wants to see which can lead to disappointment.

6TH DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS It is time to make a connection with those who are in our web of caring attention. With Ceres turning Direct we are once again able to lovingly express our nurturing nature and be less conditional in our expression of caring. We are protective. There is certainty and resolve in taking care of ourselves and others. Shifts in Mother or childhood issues are appreciable. We experience better digestion and enjoy our food. The Gibbous Moon is promoting the idea of moving forward. Excitable emotions combined with strength of will fuel this quest. We follow our dreams, visions and inspirations.

7TH Heightened sensitivity makes intuitive or psychic ability stronger. The untrained or impressionable mind however can easily misunderstand. Our ego is submerged so we can over-react with assumption, blame, guilt, judgement or opinion. The negatively suggestible are prone to suspect deception and untruth when words, actions and sensory perception are not identical. We are picking up so many signals, clues, body language and thoughts because the atmosphere is so porous. Physical energy is low so avoid undue stress. Immune resistance is down. Allergic responses are possible.

9TH There may be a blip on our mental radar. Neptune changing from retrograde to direct motion can cause us to become a little ungrounded. We are over-receptive as we are opening to the influence of others with this turning and this can make us vulnerable. By remaining tuned into ourselves, our values, faith and beliefs, hopes, wishes or even dreams we can do what is best. Confusion, blurriness, vagueness or the inadequate use of too many words to explain ourselves is possible.  We need to hold little doubt about our equality, our ability to hold our own and keep an upper hand. Being concerned with balance we will not be pushed into another person's score. Wait and see.

10TH The Full Moonis intense and dualistic; control versus no limits which of course brings up the need to work toward a balance point. Discipline is inconsistent, the atmosphere excitable and the forces of metamorphosis strong. This is a critical point of maximum pressure. We need to keep our wits about us. Chiron turns direct in motion today indicating we are ready for the next step. Feeling adapted and healed inwardly in key areas we turn to address what is left to change in the external situation and also to reach for more. Some relationships are harmonised. With Mars leaving Leo and entering Virgo, discrimination and time management will give every action a purpose. We are prone to be more careful, detailed, systematic, attentive, practical and tidy. Virgo helps us to turn to craftsmanship and otherwise be more orderly and dutiful. The down side is the worrisome nature of this zone.

11TH TRANSITION 11:11:11 ~ REMEMBER ~ A time of endings and new beginnings. There is a lot of tension in the air. Every crossroad poses a dilemma that can be conflicted and hampering. That is if we forget we are exploring our way through a many faceted existence that will inspire us to focus on our evolutionary purpose. We are crossing a bridge and will be taking a radical new turn so take the middle path to avoid the tension of extremes.

12TH Courageous and secure we are a sign of the future. We gain the objectivity needed to be honest and trustworthy to ourselves and others. The Sacred Warrior archetype is growing within us. We clash with possibilities to find the middle ground. There will be challenges set forward to co-create the rules in a self-expectant self-regulated manner. This need not but might be assertively aggressive. It is important to be a good example of what we believe. Some are moved with great compassion for the oppressed. Others are moved to fight injustices. There is a quickening that makes us restless and curious so we will experience variety. Chaotic change is not quite at overload velocity but we are still prone to impulsive or rash actions and sudden unexpected occurrences. Concentrating on our own disorder makes us prone to accident if we are making sudden moves. We are trying to bring things back into line but we are in a hurry for the sake of change. Impossible demands are physically punishing, exhausting and maybe unnecessary. The freedom to prove something or be independent is strong.

13TH Opposition pushes us beyond opinion toward integrative intelligence and a knitting together of individuals. Dilemmas become quests. Tradition, culture, society, belief and even family can be compromised as we evolve toward originality through unconventional means. Incarnational choice will keep us focused on vital or primary importance. Survival mode is prepared for sacrifice. Individual balancing reaches for the egalitarian state through which cooperation and interdependence with all bound to this Earth is possible.

14TH The Disseminating Moon supports creative growth, realignment of life structures, wise use of finances or other resources and optimism about reforming the economy. We must face the unknown stoically. Energies are very strong within friendship and relationship circles. Gatherings of people can help ease individual worries.

16TH We are reunited with people, connections, the past and a better perspective. A philosophical approach becomes expansive assurance. Productivity is high, promotion is possible and luck can resuscitate, restore and refresh. Fun activities provide social release. Karma plays a strong part in life. We prophetically review sustainability in order to create a pleasant, happy, fortunate and beneficial state.

18TH The Last Quarter Moon tends to put pressure on us to achieve more than time might allow. The economic pressure is heating up but the symbol of karma reveals that this effect has a causal necessity. Every home appears to be going through changes. Attitudes are healthy, focused and attentive to details never imagined prior to now. The circle of life brings connections to people and separates others.

21STWhen we are affronted by demands we decide how we wish to maintain our independence. The urge to do what we need to is strong and we are willing to change whatever necessary. We are much more critical. To some this may appear defensive, aggressive, headstrong and inconsiderate but we simply do not want to be limited. Some may be too cavalier. The Balsamic Moon is a very creative vortex willing to surrender what must be for the best possible outcome. The way of life as we knew it is dissolving. We find ourselves drawn toward people of like mindedness. We are getting back to basics and creating a new plan from there.
