Breath work can lead to more joy and vitality and heal or reduce physical and emotional symptoms such as pain, depression, or anxiety, as it relases hidden thought patterns and stuck energy resulting from emotional or physical trauma. Sam Update

I am doing very well. My energy is up and so is my weight. My garden is in and growing. The kittens are happy and so too am I. My last visit to the naturopath reports there is some improvement. I have learned that the healing flare-ups usually retrace their steps. For example if an infant has eczema, followed by asthma as a child which produces hay fever in a teenager; a teenager being treated for hay fever will experience some form of lung discomfort then a dermatological experience in the process of healing the hay fever. The condition retraces itself in the event of healing.  

I continue with my daily schedule in a more relaxed mode. My friend childhood Sharon has been for her visit and we enjoyed ourselves very much. I miss her now that she has returned home. I look forward to two more friends who are coming for a visit. 

I am making progress in many directions. Thank you to everyone who is helping me from far and near. I do so enjoy the sessions I do with people no matter how I am. It uplifts me to be of service. I am feeling very positive and optimistic. Look forward to hearing from you!

 21ST VESTA RETROGRADE When Vesta turns retrograde the work ethic, focus and articulate attention we can give to detail is turned toward inner self-development. We are interested in the things that make us who we really are in the most intricate sense. Underneath all those layers of our personality and role in society is the deepest essence of self. Our power and authority stem from this epicentre. We need to build and strengthen our firewall. Also on the plus side with this retrograde we get a chance to attend to any backlog of errands, chores and jobs that have been accumulating. As this is a very spiritual planet we gravitate toward the centre of our devotion. This is not always religious or spiritual, mostly whatever interests are central to our being but having said that; it will be faith and truthfulness that become the most important aspect of self. Every time we take the path of least resistance, let things slide, accommodate others or compromise ourselves; our sense of integrity is devalued a little more. This powerfully silent and irrevocably acute energy cannot be shirked. If we have been selling ourselves short it will become indisputably clear. SUN ENTERS CANCER Happy Summer Solstice and Happy Birthday to all Cancerians! This sign takes personal relationship to a more substantial and serious level. This can cause us to want to draw loved ones near to enjoy nostalgic memories and quiet nights at home. Loyalty and cooperation is inspired. Expressing our feelings will become important and in return we also show genuine concern for others. Domesticated activities like cooking or gardening and mothering those in need are its natural expressions. But the heightened emotional sensitivity of this sign bares our vulnerabilities which can make us grumpy. We can become a prisoner of our emotions; moody and inclined to endlessly dwell on our emotional troubles. Excesses in emotion need to be kept in control. It is only by keeping a clear channel while the Sun is in this receptive sign that we will receive more accurate intuition. Our hasty responses are very judgmental as we take control over any situation that makes us nervous or suspicious. This is an excellent influence for original thinking; what we need to succeed these days! Energy to the extreme is passing through us. These are unconventional, unusual, challenging and perhaps revolutionary powers where independence takes the upper hand. Our strong sharp reactions to people, events and performance are highly charged. It is time to break the mold. We want to do our own thing and at times would consider anything anyone else wants as anarchy. Due to very high energy we will not be sitting still, we will be busy. The problem is that our activities can turn out to be pointless, disruptive, full of friction or disconnected. We will find it difficult to coordinate. BALSAMIC MOON The mind can be very active during this phase. Although it is a good time to reflect, meditate, retreat, vacation or get centred it seems we need to talk, discuss and clarify verbally too. We need to be heard from the inside out. Also we need to be taken seriously. But there are fickle energies at work here and we may not get the deep connect we are looking for. This can be off-putting if we take it the wrong way. 28TH Conflicts arise between family and career and we become aware of the split between our intellectual and emotional sides. This boils down to a clash between our head and heart. Something can alienate us from our feminine nature. This can be over-identification with the father figure or a denied and rejected mother figure. By channelling our procreative energy into mental, artistic or activist activity we can develop the written word, art forms or affect social improvement. 1st NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE Like the last one this eclipse occurs far and away from viewing. The affects can range from subtle to profound for the individual. We can expect a breakthrough in thinking. We can explore a wide range of possibilities and come up with a better application of our intelligence than has been our normal. Answers to matters of dysfunction, confusion or misunderstanding can be boiled down to a difference of values or beliefs, customs and traditions. It helps our peripheral and significant relationships that we suspend judgement and criticism by replacing those with a higher philosophy. For those who follow no higher mindedness, spiritual quest or greater philosophic understanding this is a time of permissive indulgence. MERCURY ENTERS LEO With Leo infused into the rays of Mercury, we are very sure of our ideas. 4TH CRESCENT MOON What a lovely sight, the Crescent Moon, it always lifts my spirit. This time we have positive vibrations tagging along with it. Pleasant experiences, celebrations, travels, social engagements and interactions with others. We actually enjoy being with other people without reservation. If dancing is on the agenda we party hard! All kinds of food will be available and we are trying something new and unusual. No one wants to stay home, even the recluse will want to get out for an uplifting walk or sojourn with nature. It is time to put seriousness on the back burner and our disagreements shelved for now. A positive change in any regard uplifts our spirit and puts a new twist into our personality. The old self seems to dissolve away and all the problems, dysfunctions and areas of lacking melt. We receive the news we were hoping for.

6TH We are capable of hard work and a broader perspective. We can put effort into a narrow immediate scope that fits into a larger plan. Many small details can be organized into an overall pattern. We express ourselves in a careful and controlled manner. We will win the respect of others for our diligence and perseverance. Hard exacting work may have to be done. We can do it better now than at other times.
