18TH SUN ENTERS PISCES Happy Birthing Day to all Pisceans. I love this sign very much and enjoy the energy when the Sun and other planets are travelling through it. We have to realise, however, that a big player, Chiron, has entered this sign and will be working with it for about seven years. It will be working with all of us through the collective unconscious which this sign represents. Patterns, whether on the individual or collective level, need to be addressed. Healing and finding wholeness is imperative. Releasing guilt and ceasing to be the victim is a goal to be reached. Letting go of abuse, betrayal, misuse of trust, neglect, lack of boundaries etc. is essential.

When the Sun is in Pisces, we are emotional and intensely compassionate. We are guided by altruistic feeling. We are less actively engaged, and more motivated by our instincts. The shadow side of this energy however produces self-pity, a feeling of being victimized by life, passivity and elusiveness. However a very enlightened attitude of "what will be, will be" reigns; or as my dear Piscean friend says "it is what it is". Such wisdom at times of threatened obsessive psychology! Through this sign we are guided by a sense of universal correlation. This is a good time to connect on an intimate level with others and also cultivate our creative instincts. We will be tolerant, patient and more trusting. We have more empathy, selfless love and devotion; or use more wisdom. But for the people who are already too giving, learn how Pisces lets others can take advantage. Too much sensitivity ends up hurting our feelings.

20TH Acting on fear-based assertions will lead many of us down the wrong path. We need to be inspired, stimulated and fascinated so we can view the unknown as an adventure. It is time to pursue our passions, dreams and ideals to realise them. Feelings of irritability, discouragement, feeling incapable, weak and inferior will plague those who cannot reach out to the next level of consciousness. But it has a very serious tone. So it may be a serious internal reconstruct that is most important to share. It may be what we learn from others that is helpful in the renovation process. We will expand our emotional and intellectual understandings. Concentrate on what is of value to, a priority, a missing part or pathway to wholeness.

MERCURY ENTERS PISCES The watery emotional realm of Pisces enhances creative imagination as well as intuitive inspiration. We are more poetic and artistic, easily drawn to non-tangible or spiritual things. For those who are this way anyway, this influence can bring difficulty in coping with practical, scientific or technological involvements. It is also a gullible position for the planet that represents our everyday mind. We need to guard against deception by paying attention to detail. It is easy to get confused so we need to take steps to steady our aperture. The exciting aspect of this occupation is that we can remember and visualise details. If we can imagine something we have seen or read before it is possible to tap into our ability for photographic memory.

22ND MARS ENTERS PISCES The planet of passion in the zone of sensitivity and emotion can manifest in many ways. We are passive changeable and moody. In fact this sign can confuse us no matter how astute or assertive. Even the quietest of exterior appearance will mask much restlessness inside. This sign's influence diffuses strength, drowns assertiveness and allows excessive emotion and resentment. We withdraw into a shyer place. Emotions are intense and unpredictable. Isolation and introspection can be a very creative place especially if our life force is drained. Our physical and practical applications will come up short anyway.

24TH We are seeking meaning, understanding, knowledge, inspiration and truth in our lives. We are liable to choose an unconventional path. Curiosity drives us to be restless. We need variety. We overvalue assertion and put much faith in ourselves because we want things on our own terms. We can be competitive or forceful about our principles. For some this can generate passive-aggressive behaviour. It can lead to bullying, challenges, criticism, quarrels, not following rules, defensiveness, over non-conformance, wearing horse blinders and being one-pointed. If we react without awareness, we could experience accident or cruelty. If energy is repressed we could experience illness or lethargy. If we consciously act with awareness we should be able to channel this powerful energy into action which brings healing and provides protection.

The polarities of yin and yang are trying to balance with this androgynous energy. However, we have to work on our relationship patterns, karmic attachments and soul-contracts to make it so. We can reach a greater sense of inner harmony if we try. That is the goal in front of us. To clear away all that would interfere with our harmony. It is imperative that we be fair to ourselves and focus on good relations that are mutually encouraging and supportive. Those who have the upper hand over us will be very obvious. Feelings of abandonment result where no equality or reciprocity exists. Identify these pockets of stagnation. We cannot cut the chords of love, they are indestructible, but we need to severe the chords that have been indiscriminately forged by our old patterns, memories, fears, anxieties, hopes, expectations and inner resistances.

Old blocks, limitations, habits, routines and structures surface at this time. The consequences of past actions force issues to the surface. Be careful with sharp or metal objects or when operating machinery because of the potential for bursts or leaking energy. Comments can unconsciously provoke others. Somehow in some way try to diffuse this energy rather than cause greater problems. Exercise, hard physical work, concentrated activity and other physical disciplines help to keep our energy clean. This influence will help us clean our energy if we try.

LAST QUARTER MOON At this phase of the Moon things are challenged and can break down. It is only if they are inappropriate that they would show signs of collapsing so we can choose a different direction. We find out where we are succeeding and where we are failing. But it is for the purposes of course correction so we do not go too far in the wrong direction. We have to pay attention to the messages or we will pass them by and have to wait until we get the bigger message. There are many reasons why we would hold on or maintain our attachment to a hoped for outcome. Mostly it is fear, paranoia, insecurity and isolation. It will be difficult to see the inherent faults and dysfunctions in others when we hope for so much for ourselves. Some will become very self-righteous, others will wage a war of critical judgement but no one is without fault.

25TH We are blind. Our focus is diffused. There is much confusion. Also the tendency to wear our rose coloured glasses causes us to see what we want to see. Self-denial and self-sacrifice are inappropriate responses to misperception. This passive indecisive instability is unemotional. The sense of disappointment is acute. Disillusionment and escapism is rampant. We bury our head in the sand to avoid. We are extremely sensitive to another's behaviour. For those on the spiritual path of evolution, however, compassion and empathy will deepen because of their awareness of the universal truths. We have a heightened enjoyment of art and music which can be a source of upliftment.

The impulse is to repair, restore or rebuild and improve. Not everyone agrees with the principle and we experience resistance and opposition. We can run into people who have been threatened by our actions or suspicious of our methods and motives while we remain innocent. The appearance of power can provoke conflict. There is a touch of woundedness and a tendency to hit the wall but otherwise we need to face the stark reality or conflict of interest that is presented. It is time to create bridges and to find the middle of the road where those with differences can meet in the centre. We work on how we are separate from other people. We find acceptable solutions.

28TH BALSAMIC MOON The dark of the moon is a time when there is no reflection coming from the Sun. The night is darker. In this womb of potential we need to remain constructive. It has the potential of bringing out our darker side this month. The purpose of this phase is renewal, regeneration, rest and reconciliation. Usually this is a good time to take a holiday but we probably have other more important things to accomplish. Karmic relationships give us work to do that will transform our life so we can achieve more self-realisation. Fate, karma, destiny however we relate to the inevitable will play a large part in what happens now. We can reap the rewards or review our report card to see where we need more work.

Possessiveness will force us to let go of what we are attached to because it is best for us if we do. Great emotional grief, sorrow or depression can arise at this time as we face what we need to understand in no uncertain terms. There is a reason for everything. It is what it is. This is not happening to us it is happening with us. Replace fear and loss with understanding. There is a season and a cycle for everything. We have to learn how to accept this process, trust it and be more joyful in our everyday life. Gratitude helps us learn the value of things. This energy favours renewable resources, recycling, second hand stores, recovery of old building supplies, antiques and new uses for old things.

1st VENUS ENTERS AQUARIUS An unconventional twist or turn within us changes our perspective to relating. In life we relate to everything, as an example consider a cup of coffee for some or a freshly juiced vegetable and fruit combination for others. 4TH NEW MOON Another beginning; this is the second lunar month of the year of the rabbit. Many people will be travelling this month, or at least taking time off for recreation. Others are attending to scholastic responsibilities. Work can be on everyone's mind whether they are getting away from it, attending to it or wishing it would change. We need to make plans with friends who are like minded and sensitive to our sympathies rather than get involved in a battle of wits. Focus on the wonderful things in life and try not to get dragged into the politics. People can be raging, stormy and overkill with their power. Others will be working powerfully on their evolution.

We will need to rearrange our conscious thoughts due to stress which may affect our appetite or liver. Exaggeration of the nurturing or parental experience can affect our judgement. Our level of confidence as a mother or of our mother factors into the event. Differences of belief come between Mother and child, or it can be a separation of distance. We are conscious of the need to be more cross-culturally aware in order to make our choices more universally acceptable. Legal, medical or academic involvements with children will occur. There can be involvement with grandparents or in-laws. We have issues with assimilating food. The irregularities in our appetite and a troublesome liver means we should stay away from fats and carbohydrates. It is unfortunate that appetite tends to increase which puts stress on the liver function. We have to learn when to say no.

8TH CRESCENT MOON This is the slim crescent that appears just after the dark of the moon. It is a sign of promise and this month it appears to be working serendipitously. The plans we thought we had made are about to turn into something unexpected. There can be excitement; pleasure and much action as a wide variety of possibilities are unleashed. But be aware of misrepresentation. It is colossal in its after affects. There may be huge issues involving water; like in floods, mudslides etc. If this connects with our chart we might have plumbing issues.

9TH MERCURY ENTERS ARIES Our minds will quicken and if we are not careful our thoughts will fly off in all directions initiating many things but accomplishing little. We are more bold, outspoken, assertive and empowered. This means our words can be honest, raw, sharp, to the point and uncensored. Do not be surprised when they provoke others unintentionally. The energetic surge will burst out of us. If travelling on the road, or congregating in public, watch out for the enraged. The warrior and warrioress within us will be provoked. By using our energy bursts in a focused goal-oriented way we can accomplish much more. This energy evokes the pioneering mind.

10TH PALLAS ATHENA ENTERS AQUARIUS This influence will poke a hole in consensus agreement. 11TH URANUS ENTERS ARIES 2010-2018 We will be re-claiming a self-reliant future following a period of reluctantly dealing with the real world. 12TH FIRST QUARTER MOON After the New Moon, the Moon orbits around our Earth and once it reaches this angle it is squaring off with the Sun. The tension in this relationship puts pressure on us each month for different reasons, unless it is the phase in our birth chart. This is a critical phase, one that tests us to make sure we want to proceed with what we have initiated. Constructive criticism is offered and hopefully taken so we can adjust according to what is and what is best for us. At this juncture we are reminded of the past and we just may fall into old troughs, ruts and pathways of least resistance which will create a self-made crisis. Relationships can be injurious or confused. The suspicious, calculating and predisposed mind can create sordid thoughts, perjuries and over-protective reactions. Agreements are broken right, left and centre.

13TH This creates some emotional distance. We are still reviewing our terms of relationship. Try not to blame the other person, rather take 100% responsibility in this process. If we decide to move away from others we must not make it because of them; rather decide to because of the nucleus we are creating. We must not justify our actions by someone else's faults. Their fault is only in our eyes. Some engagements may be broken, others made stronger by the disclosure and declaration made now. Marriages can separate harmoniously and with mutual agreement. In looking for supportive relationships we might reject better options in favour of self-justifying accommodation. Keep in mind that we are seeking our own design. Other people's design is equally as valid. We seek devotion and dedication for our own fulfilment. We can keep ourselves in our own loop.

16TH GIBBOUS MOON We are seeking and gathering information, congealing what we already know and forming better understandings in this phase. The ego's energies are strong which makes us more critical of others. There will be some who cause others unseen trouble with their gamesmanship or battle of wits. This can be very tiring and side-tracking. Our core misunderstandings are front and centre as we explore our conscious thoughts for unconscious stimulus. Emotions can churn angrily. We want to branch out, seek our fortune and make new starts and many will but many are held back by their self-work.

Activism increases our personal expression. This presents an opportunity to discover who, what or where we are blocked. But we are militant about our self and our strategies. So we are bound to come face to face with the cracks in our logic. This can ignite some sparks and create some confusion until we update our methodology to meet the challenge. We have lots of inner strength and courage but we have to learn how to facilitate a successful conclusion. This is very masculine energy that likes to mask vulnerability, inhibition or inadequacy sometimes with anger, argument and sexual frustration. The combination of energies is supposed to help us figure out how to win, not to beat others rather let everyone win.

19TH FULL MOON Another gravitational pull takes place on the 29th degree of Leo. We have had our share of these during 2010 and they have not let up in 2011 as of yet. The critical degree is the culmination of all that has gone before, the crisis point we keep reaching over and over again. There is much confusion, fear, paranoia, austerity, pressure, stress and anger. We are being pushed, pulled and batted from one position to another hopefully to process our best future prospects out of what we would normally choose on auto pilot. The ego can be our worst enemy and we are ready to do battle if we are insulted which no doubt we will be. On every Full Moon things come to the surface. What we do not know can send us for a loop. We have to do our work, we have to process our stuff, it is imperative for our continuance.
