Where Are The Planets Now

The SUN is in Aquarius until February 18th, 2011.

MERCURY is in Capricorn until February 3rd when it enters Aquarius.

VENUS is in Sagittarius until February 3rd, 2011 when it enters Capricorn.

MARS is in Aquarius until February 22nd when it enters Pisces.

JUNO is in Virgo. It turns retrograde January 19th, 2011.  

It will turn direct May 31st, 2011. Juno enters Libra July 27th, 2011

CERES is in Aquarius until March 2nd when it enters Pisces.

PALLAS ATHENA is in Capricorn until March 10th, 2011 when it enters Aquarius.

VESTA is in Sagittarius and will enter Capricorn Jan 28th, 2011.

JUPITER is in Pisces until January 22nd, 2011 when it will re-enter Aries until June 4th 2011.

SATURN is in Libra until October 5, 2012 when it enters Scorpio.

CHIRON is in Aquarius. It will enter Pisces on February 3rd, 2011. Here it will help us heal our spirit and all wounds. The Aries point will be reached April 19th 2018 but regression into Pisces occurs September 27th, 2018. So we will not begin a new era with Chiron until February 19th 2019.

URANUS is in Pisces; now direct it will find its way back into Aries by March 12th 2011 where it will supercharge our reality for about seven years.

NEPTUNE is in Aquarius. It enters Pisces February 3rd, 2012 which should be a blessing for many. Neptune will enter Aries around 2025.

PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2024

20TH SUN ENTERS AQUARIUS Happy Birthday to all Aquarians! This is a red letter year as Chiron will finally leave Aquarius to inhabit Pisces. Aquarians will no longer be the walking wounded. Aquarius just needs to just finish up with Neptune between now and February of 2012. The force will be with Aquarius during the 2011 solar returns. Getting to the core essence of personal issues, fears and repetitive patterns we accelerate change. We need to look beyond ourselves for answers. Within this energy field we redesign tradition, forge new techniques, create new paradigms, revolutionise society and work on issues beyond the individual. Mental agility is enabled and we are enthralled by innovative, futuristic and gregarious thought and amiability. A magnetic draw pulls people of like mindedness together. This friendly sign increases our humanitarianism. It activates social involvement and increases the number of social engagements or invitations we experience. Charity and community-mindedness can be redesigned. We are focused on advancement in an objective, detached and aloof manner. This is not a sign that promotes intimacy or quietude. It is a busy, energetic progressive instigation of much outward activity and communication.

We are our story. If we want to change our life then we have to change our story. Perception is enhanced so we can tune into the deepest part of our psyche. We are very sensitive. Access to the ethereal-subtle realms and dimensions of vibration and spirit we are in touch with our ancestry. But at the same time our intellectual side traps us in our script. Our history might be a source of difficulty. Our politics will definitely be questionable. The victims, battered, abused, neglected and downtrodden have obvious traps in their patterns but we need to look at how we sabotage ourselves in the same way which might not be as obvious. We need to transcend our battle zones, our conflicts and our wilfulness that overshadow all else. We can be lost in our own mirage and prone to evasiveness, pretence and deception to protect and maintain the status quo. It is possible to become fragmented, conflicted, stressed and tense as some very difficult decisions have to be made in a climate of fear with much that is unknown.

Inflated expectations in relationship will reveal patterns in our personalities. Hopes and wishes or conditional demands can become magnified out of proportion. Over-optimism ends in a lack of commitment. We have to trace back to our origins to resolve the unintegrated or misaligned aspects of our soul. We may not be very prudent but what occurs now will help us to cleanse our soul of accumulated memories, karmic attachments and soul contracts that are toxic. This is a good time to reconsider our terms of faith and philosophical belief. Be aware of the appearance of wealth. Also know that there is a distinct lack of commitment in the air. Some people are looking to get lucky which means we can be unlucky. Seeing only what we want to see in others we will miss the differences that exist. Bad relationships can break up amidst a storm of anger and righteous outrage that can be intensely frightening. But so can the weather. Independence, self-reliance and sustaining convictions and standards will work though many knots in our inner fabric. We are digging deep into our psyche and working on some very deep contents so we can regenerate our health on all levels of life.

22ND JUPITER ENTERS ARIES We have a head start on Uranus; some degrees of separation are helping us to have a less frenetic start to Jupiter's new cycle. Please remember that Jupiter and Uranus conjoined when they first entered Aries late May to early June 2010. Many of us started something new at this time. Now with Jupiter entering Aries some months before Uranus; we can absorb and acclimatize to the acceleration. The energies are going to rev up for the next seven years. With Jupiter once more entering the first sign of the zodiac we can initiate new conditions. No doubt we will be energised; pioneering, initiating impulsive and moving forward in an attempt to override all that has gone before. But wolf-like greediness can surface too. Pushy superiority will betray the super ego. Naked raw aggression makes itself obvious. For the rest of us there are new directions in philosophic and spiritual matters. We can reach forward confidently amidst sparks of excitement. The courageous acts of others will inspire us. Stretch and grow, but do not be too careless or overconfident, too generous or risk taking.

DISSEMINATING MOON Hot tempers can flare up if we become indignant. Others can push our buttons or trigger core reactions. The thing to remember is that it is meant to be. We get what we need whether we can identify with it or not. We own whatever we attract and need to battle with ourselves rather than with others. We need to choose to work on our basic premise, our spiritual values and our metamorphic regeneration. For those who are sick, it is a faith and belief based resolution that is sought. The soul is evolving at a terrifying rate. Relationships are changing at break-neck speed; so too our relationship to life. Self-correction will bring values into balance and there security is anchored to the belief in the self. We can share who we are with others because we are drawn out of ourselves by circumstances. Be accountable; do not shirk responsibility, there is no excuse because if we have knowledge we need to have integrity or we can lose touch with ourselves and appear hypocritical to others. The wheat is separated from the chaff. There is a sorting of souls; obviously we disconnect from some we were never in league with. Be strong and self-aware but do not give up compassion for self-centredness.

23RD Two very great influences are combining to provide us with the inspiration, insight and imagination we need to visualize our future. There might be more enhanced dreams but also very tangible clarity. We are in the ethereal flow of compassion and sensitivity designed to help mankind spiritualise their earthly experience. Being true to our inner spirit will help us live in harmony. This is excellent energy for art and science. We can detach from disappointment and clear up repressed emotion. We are able to face the limitations of others, our own illness, any instability or the passive and indecisive behaviours of others without emotion. Think about the fable of the Emperor's New Clothes because we have the opportunity to see the naked truth rather than the false impression others would have us believe.

24TH While our x-ray vision is in gear we are also processing the tension and stress of the state of flux in which we are living. If a change of career is on our mind then this can be a good time to explore experiment and discover a new-normal social function in which to be employed. As society changes so does its needs. Where redundancy rears itself we need to consider alternatives, innovate and reinvent ourselves. Training with electronic equipment or programing is a productive investment of time and energy. It is possible we will become hyperaware of contradiction, dichotomy, hypocrisy, incongruity, duplicity, double standards, insincerity and two-facedness. But we must process these things in a universally correct way to depersonalise the situation. Conflicting intellectual and devotional beliefs will raise many an interesting debate. The over-zealous and those with obsessive compulsive leanings will attempt to convince and convert. Then there are the indifferent, cold, distant, detached, cool and impersonal people who will stand out vividly. They are like talking to a wall.

Our perceptions of reality, time and possibility need to expand. We come into conflict with basic social, political and intellectual sensibilities. The intellectual/political focus is breaking down, dissolving into the spiritual/intuitive journey of healing and initiation. The situations and circumstances we face are so out of the ordinary that circumventing the usual or regular judgment or consequence is justified. We all need to be willing to change to meet another's standards or demands for approval. No one is precluded for no one is without error. As we judge so are we judged at some future point therefore we need to be very careful how we wield the intellect. Uncharacteristic behaviour from people we must make-nice with or from whom we are seeking acceptance puts us in a position of considering the all-inclusive perspective. Expand beyond the individual. We are all one and those who think they are better will wound themselves karmically more than they can hurt us. Exclusivity based on functionality or normal parameters of judgment will fail to meet the grade. We must be careful to the extreme in whom we place our trust. Integrate and harmonize the intellect with the intuition for the best results.

25TH SATURN RETROGRADE This retrograde state is one of the internalisations that are useful. We review the physical and psychological supports, structures and armatures of our life. We turn things inside out to get to the core of the matter. We also develop better method and strategy, rules and regulations or control mechanisms. By redefining our sense of responsibility and considering our limitations we reassess commitments and boundaries. We are building an increased sense of authority. Now those with a strong sense of authority may experience some lessons too. Humility has a way of sneaking through the cracks when this orbit slows down. Endings are prevalent; get out while the going is good if needed. Improve organisation by dealing with issues from the past; they are bound to come up now. Renegotiate frustrations. We learn from our mistakes. Review investments in a long range plan and reformulate judgements.

26TH LAST QUARTER MOON This is the phase where things break down, fall apart or prove that they are not working. This gives us a chance to move on to better objectives. We see results at this time. So with that in mind many of us are surveying our careers, jobs and businesses to ascertain whether they represent our true worth. Letting go of the people in our life who are not in league with our soul we feel empowered to fill the void with the relevant. It is important to view all change or happenstance as positive even if we cannot fathom its intent and purpose. We are blessed with circumstances that will force us to go in the direction we are karmically required to follow. This is why it may not feel good, pleasant, exuberant or even supportive but it is and it will be cleansing. Financial issues come to the forefront. We need to get a grip. Be careful what is communicated at this time as misunderstandings are very possible.

27TH Renewal for the sake of wholeness manifests in a change of status, direction, commitment, dedication or objective. Self-healing requires that we separate from the idea of iconoclasm or victimisation. We cannot refuse to go along or get along and do the normally expected thing while making others feel that they are not correct, they are different which is alienating and wounding. We need to find the keys to wholeness and renewal so we gravitate to holistic methods and natural healing for balance. We can be both our own individual self and wholesomely inclusive of others who are less functional. However we have to work at it. This is ground-breaking energy that has the potential of establishing our uniqueness in whatever way we choose. If we think these changes require emotional indifference to others and a change of scene we might be missing the point.

Unresolved conflict, old issues and score-keeping will need to be cleansed from our core essence. Indignant outrage stored in the recesses of our being can lead to erratic and unreliable behaviour. Equality, or what it means to us within our pattern and personality, will be very important. The pushing and pulling, expanding and contracting that occurs when there is conflict or competitiveness and judgemental attitude is just too difficult on the body, mind and soul. Relationships that do not fit are not worth the wear and tear. We are drawn to let go of the deeply buried attachments to encounters of the past. For those involved in soul retrieval and extraction this can be very powerful. Wherever there is a tempest of intense contradiction elements of compassion will be helpful in mitigating the non-committal, unreliable or erratic behaviours strife has created. We need to stop disturbing the airwaves with tempestuous thoughts.

28TH I suspect on the west coast that there may promises of spring already revealing themselves.Fertility abounds but it comes in a disguise that is indistinguishable. We need to adjust our receptors to include concepts unique to our consciousness. While we do not immediately perceive these potentials as personally nurturing their passion is one of protectiveness. We can invest our energies in the impulses we experience. However, it is likely we will be very defensive, easily threatened and overly protective of ourselves and our young. We will not hesitate to rise to a fierce fight should an opponent challenge. Headstrong and somewhat wilful we are assertively direct and independently dominant. This passion of protectiveness can extend to nature and ecology. We become the warrior or advocate for those who do not have a voice. The recurrent theme within the parent-child dynamic is awareness of how anger, self-interests or the need for independence have affected the relationship. Issues with regard to care-taking, the mother's attitude toward mothering and conflicts within the dyadic configuration of mother-child will definitely surface. Repressed anger from childhood can be diffused and dispersed. The level of acid in the stomach can become problematic.

VESTA ENTERS CAPRICORNThe cosmic laws of justice, truth and balance, cause and effect that are aligned with the higher powers will be available to those disciples on their path of reconciliation and resolution. Healing that is accomplsihed now will be through the most powerful forces of the universe. This is very sacred energy. We need to create order, organization and control so however the powers that be can assist we will be gifted. The traits of organisation, responsibility, discipline, perseverance and achievement earn the ethereal as well as physical rewards of accomplishment and success. Ambition and the drive to succeed will motivate us. We must not judge ourselves or others harshly. Leadership will build on history and commitment. We will be willing to sacrifice ourselves for duty and security. We feel terribly guilty if we cannot measure up. We can be very self-critical. We will be reminded about the people we know who are excessively rigid. They may experience a temporary loss of power or control because of this.

29TH BALSAMIC MOON This is the phase where we can create the future with our intention, motive, vision quest and focus. It is an extremely creative and fruitful configuration that the universe is offering us this month! We are working very hard on ourselves as the conditions of our life continue to be changeable. Going back to the future comes to mind with the chart for this event. That is living in the future and going back into the past to extract and retrieve some aspect of ourselves or our lives to live in better harmony with our ascended self. We are re-writing our akashic records with the work on ourselves that we develop now. This is a very powerful phase for clearing the past of this life and many past lifetimes. At the very least, we need to change how we think about the past so we can create a better future.

1st If we cannot implement the change we need it comes to us through spontaneous synchronicity. The restless impulsiveness that is stirring up in us can lead to starling realisations despite the upset and stress. If the ego is frustrated this can bottle up and be released destructively or through accident. We need to break away from whatever holds us back. This is a good time to reinvent ourselves. We need new solutions, new mannerisms and changes in our commitments so we can be freely creative. Sometimes sacrifice is needed if release is sought but be sure to first reform intolerance to keep interactions positive, productive and future oriented. Our thought projections and communications combine with our actions to create the future.

Too much focus on our own point of view or a total lack of focus fails to see what would benefit the whole. We find out where we are unable to deliver our promises. Believing in personal validity to the exclusion of all else too much optimism, too much hope and unbridled faith will cause us to be prey to our own beliefs. For a broader social vision we need to include all social and cultural forms into our precedents. Exaggeration or overemphasis will only result in an undermining of our position. Being too focused can exclude important knowledge. Lacking focus we have our heads in the sand. There are as many ways of perceiving something as there are people in the world. Humility can be earned and learned. Sexuality, whether spiritual or physical, reaches a stress point. Breakthroughs in spiritual love-making are possible.

We are building on new strategies. Since we are navigating new territory there are bound to be things that we not working properly yet. Mistakes can happen. Do not be so overwhelmed by the pressure of expectation that you create a dilemma. We learn from our errors and omissions. If our ideas are not working out then it may be a good time to reconsider plans. We have choices and decisions to make, problems to solve and compromises to reach. We are all just finding our way after all. If we knew what we were meant to be doing we would do it; oh we are! Obstacle, limitation, set-back, disapproval, rejection, lack of self-esteem and self-centredness can create a challenge for us to overcome. We need to recognise our patterns and our blocks. We must rally self-confidence to make the best use of this valuable resource.

2ND The sense of self is infused with the passion and energy of masculinity which is impulsive, over-forceful and self-centred. Much stressful distortion makes it difficult to make choices or turn to new directions. When feeling compromised we are likely to create conflict rather than cooperation. Inequality is a touchy subject. The red flags go up wherever we need to correct injustice, stop victimisation or abuse and end subjugation. Domineering tendencies will be met with argument as they will touch a raw nerve. The relationship dynamic is continuing to mutate as we further define what we need for ourselves and what we are willing to give to another. We need to develop a strong sense of self but it must not impose itself on others either.

NEW MOON There is nothing passive about the beginning of this lunar month. We are super charged with our own essence and willing to go the distance. Health and fitness are big issues for many as we prepare for spring and summer when we are baring our bodies to the warmth. Cleansing programs are best undertaken this month. Fasting one day a week appears to be a suggestion as well. It really is for health reasons, rather than spiritual! But I am sure it cannot do any harm to our spirit! The body needs to learn to relate to the fuel it consumes and a fasting interruption will help it to do so. Our animals can benefit from the digestive break too. We are letting go of things we thought we valued and conditional expectations of others that we thought were crucial. Yet continuance proves they were not at all important. Changes to our legacy are happening as we speak. We are repairing and restoring our relationship to life. Many blessings to everyone!

3RD MERCURY ENTERS AQUARIUS This air sign adds strength to the intellect; improves memory and makes the mind more comprehensive. Greater powers of concentration, strong intuition, studiousness and aptitude for science, math or literature are generated by Mercury travelling through this sign. Entertainment can be found in watching the eccentricities of human nature as they act out due to this stimulation. Mental excitement, unconventional behaviour, offbeat and original characteristics will manifest for shock and awe. Our set beliefs get scrambled so we can see what we overlooked. We are attracted to unusual and fantastic viewpoints. We are more logical than emotional, less adaptable to emotionalisms but more fixed in opinion, adverse to change and not easily influenced. Since we are inclined to be more stubborn than usual best we do not believe we have all the answers.

VENUS ENTERS CAPRICORN We can be more pragmatic and realistic about financial planning, increasing our assets and streamlining our liabilities so we can save money to invest in something tangible. Whatever we purchase we will want to get concrete value out of it so we are likely to shop for something that will last. Look for well-constructed solid craftsmanship. This influence is also good for improving the reputation, gaining respect, acknowledgment or position. We are better able to keep our feelings under control. It is possible to connect with people who can help us get ahead, but we must not relate to people solely because we can use them in this way.

5TH Parents and children are going through important changes within themselves. Both are questioning values and evaluating lifestyle. Emotional distance is possible. In contemplation we realize many things about how we are raising or dealing with our children. We are concerned with the state of the child-parent relationship. We cannot miss the signals; there is a need for change. Review rules, regulations, agreements and policies. As children grow their needs change. There may be some upset with children. We need to take time and patience to figure things out. Peer pressure is very strong no matter what the age. Experimentation with recipes, unusual foods or restaurants is entertaining. We are likely to change our diet; some for health reasons and others for spiritual refinement. Increased stress alters appetite and affects digestion. Some will eat ravenously while others have absolutely no desire for food when they are tense. Denial of needing others is possible. We tend to eject ourselves from the threat of not being nurtured. Panic occurs when our needs are not met so escape is sought. We might withdraw deeply into ourselves and be inaccessible to others. Try to break such self-destructive patterns at this time.

6TH We are capable of hard work when undertaken from a broad perspective. We can put effort into a narrow immediate scope that fits into a larger plan. Many small details can be organized into an overall pattern. We express our energies in a careful and controlled manner. We will win the respect of others if we apply diligence and perseverance. Hard exacting work may have to be done. We can do it better now than at other times. Work that requires precision, concentrated effort or involves metal and stone, drawing up exact plans, building, grinding, polishing and cutting, especially with metal tools can be scheduled. We are content to be patient. Our expectations are modest. We are a formidable opponent because we look at all the alternatives and choose our course of action carefully and methodically. This can be described as relentless. Not a glamorous time but our actions can lead to real and lasting accomplishment.

We are creating new role models, man, woman, child, family, society et al and in the interim it can be chaos. New social archetypes are instigated by this synthesis and dispersal of innovative mutual agreement. Individually we need to resolve our personal issues so we can partake in this extension of our boundaries and new stereotyping. Redefining our terms and conditions of relating to life, within relationship and all agreements will address the emotional and psychological knots in our tapestries. Once freed from those hooks we can involve ourselves with the social problems at hand. The nuclear family and extended family alike need to establish better guidelines. Conflicting subconscious messages reflect our condition as it clashes with our perception of love and nurturance. Old patterns will keep us locked in the old program.

CRESCENT MOON There is promise in this phase, however, it is reliant upon our ability to self-realise as well as understand and have tolerance for the differences of others. Each of us will receive our ration according to these qualifications. If this seems like a kind of report card it probably is more of a self-assessment. Each of us needs to be working on our evolutionary requirements, our transformation and our healing. The old rules and guidelines when applied to current situations fail to meet the solution required. We need to preserve what we have while pursuing innovative reformation. Applying ourselves brings out the luck. Fearing and repeating old patterns diminishes prosperity and leads to ill health. We can consider ourselves dropped in the middle of our favourite lake with no choice but to swim to shore for there is no raft or boat to accompany us! Remember we like it here, so enjoy the swim. For those who like the ocean; the surf is up, ride the waves!

7TH Perhaps some of the opportunities that have presented themselves in the past are proving to be less than advantageous. Maybe one might have been a foolish risk. What we need to retain from our explorations into the unknown is what we have learned which is something we would not have if we did not try. Validation of the self requires the right proportion when approaching future prospects, new projects, timing or legal issues. Winding down certain involvements is appropriate. Exuberance and optimism can go overboard, so can exaggeration and inflationary projection. As these energies are impulsive and arrogant some people's actions can be alarming and threatening to others. We can be overwhelmed as everything comes at us at once. Sift and sort with as much calm and deliberation as possible.

8TH Relationship will be shaken up if it needs to change. The two or more people involved in any configuration of relationship will be making internal adjustments to what they considered to be fair, just and equal. Since each person would be making a shift that needs to be negotiated for a meeting in the middle things are bound to change. Otherwise there can be irreconcilable differences that will create stress and tension. This is not the last opportunity for break-ups in this extended period of testing. Partnerships and relationships have been going through the churn for years now. We need to meet ourselves in the middle with others or we will feel the need to break free. Unconventional solutions can be formed if we give each other enough space. Traditional roles and confinements will feel like a trap to some.

CHIRON ENTERS PISCES We had a taste of this April 19th to July 19th last year. Now Chiron enters this sign for the duration, until April 19th, 2018. Once we get into this influence most of us will want to know how much longer it will be till it is over. What comes out to the fullest is anything to do with guilt. I see the Scorpios of the world cringing. But we can get rid of unearned guilt and save ourselves from being the victim so whatever we have to go through to do that has got to be worthwhile. The answer lies in our missing parts, the dichotomal opposite and the antidote for the negative. For those of us that have deep wounds and scars from our childhood or painful experience; we will be working to separate ourselves from that internment. The old issues of betrayal, misuse of trust, abuse, and lack of boundaries, parental neglect or rape have to surface in order to be let go. But this shape shifting energy can confuse our intellect. We can rationalise and justify our dysfunctions to make them compatible. Mostly we need to acknowledge our individuality through our pain. We need to be willing to endure the pain of separation from others to be free. Without this struggle we would de-evolve and get swallowed up in our angst. The process will help us to evolve into our individuality without losing a connection to the whole. In fact, we discover how we are all a part of the whole, connected to all beings, regardless.

10TH Birds of a feather will be flocking together. This magnetic draw has spiritual components that bring people together who share the same evolutionary level, similar karma or fate and comparable vibration. This may be one of the biggest consequential shifts we will experience. Fate's judgement is rigid, severe and exacting. It is more supreme than any other judgement. Individual judgements will be revealed to be inferior. My religious background recalls "Judge not least you be judged" well this is when we will be judged by our judgements of others. But the regenerative power is extreme. The vulnerable and weak are strengthened enough to claim their power back. Occult powers are inherent even if we scoff at psychic phenomena and invisible forces. We are connected to our ancestry and all the work we do on ourselves will benefit the evolution of those from the past and those coming in the future. This combination aids the transformation of society. Using power for personal versus transpersonal ends may lead to the blocking of our power needs or releasing them destructively on a mass scale. These are symbols of the religious warfare that has plagued our world. It can challenge the survival of government or large corporation. Manipulative and invasive people can enter the workplace.

FIRST QUARTER MOON We are building in this phase and the forces of life are working with us. We need to pull together rather than pull apart. There are many voices and divergent ideas to pool together. No one culture, tradition, law or custom weighs more heavily over the other. There is no time for posturing. The need for bare bones reality is here. We should recondition our expectations and increase our saturation point. This transfiguration takes all points of view and universalises them into agreement. It appears structures continue to dissolve leaving the need for collective agreement in their wake.
