22ND SUN ENTERS VIRGO With the entry of the Sun into Virgo, it is a perfect time to streamline our lives, and to let go of anything extraneous on our Divine life path. In particular, issues of health and healing are highlighted at this time. We have an excellent opportunity to tune into ourselves, and to make any necessary changes to enhance our healing. Virgo is associated with teaching and the communication of knowledge or practical wisdom. As such, the Sun's transit of Virgo is a perfect time to seek out help for our own healing, and to reach out and provide service to others where we feel guided. With the Sun's transit of Virgo, we have a wonderful opportunity to shine the light of clarity in our lives, and to remind ourselves of where we are and what we would like to achieve. When we engage our ability to see beauty everywhere, we are better able to cultivate the beauty within-a true passion of Virgo. May we all have the inspiration and clarity to bring our dreams into focus!
 
24TH FULL MOON Sun in Virgo and Moon in the polar opposite sign Pisces is likely to stir many things to the surface allowing them to spill out so we can be cleansed. Parties can become intoxicating but great fun. Meals may be a cultural array of diverse pleasures. We are tapping into the karmic closet to come out clean. Indecision can waste energetic passion and creative drive. Take extra time to formulate inner decisiveness. Too many distractions, necessities, errands, duties and tasks crowd the agenda. It takes a strong commitment to stay on track. Life-threatening incidents can be in the news. This sense of feeling threatened can undermine our security. Good karma brings positive turning points in relationship. Believing in the self is a necessary strategy right now; we cannot afford to defer legitimacy to another.
 
28TH DISSEMINATING MOON The Moon is swinging back around now in Aries and coming up behind the Sun in Virgo. This is a very detail oriented phase where buried emotions become intricate fine points. We dispel with the authority of others and look to our own executive decisions. Perhaps we can be left alone to our own devices and forced to take responsibility rather than wilt under the pressure. If we find ourselves isolated and without help then life is trying to tell us that this is a character building opportunity. We can choose to victimise ourselves or rise above the situation and become strong. Becoming more of ourselves is a challenging prospect because we have to choose to believe we can change fate. The secret lays in changing one's self and those changes affect the course of destiny.
 
1st LAST QUARTER MOON We know if we have made it or we will realise if things are not working out. Otherwise we have to regroup and refocus. The Moon in Gemini is sharply angled toward the Sun in Virgo. The more we know ourselves the easier these regenerated thoughts will come together. If we doubt ourselves, are dysfunctionally wounded, depressed or victimised there is a chance that our minds will seek the empowerment it needs. Loyalties are very strong but imbalances send us out of kilter and we may act in a way that appears disloyal. The role of the mind cannot be understated in this picture. We create with our mind. By changing a few definitions, perceptions and habitual mental ruts it is amazing how quickly our theatre of life responds to the new filters. When we cannot be positive, we can at least be neutral. Negativity is a high risk act of selfishness.
 
3RDIt is time to review decisions we have made recently. Feeling conflicted the difficulty continues to plague our thoughts. We can make some remarkable connections to our deep unconscious blockages. Doing so will bring more fortitude. We need to release negative thoughts and other dominating mind sets in order to tap into the source of our empowerment. Things cannot stay the same with this psychological transformation. There are many shades of grey and white so stop struggling. Power is not found in being the dominant force. Listen to the voice of alternative wisdom, it is found within.
 
MERCURY RETROGRADE MIDPOINT During Mercury retrograde we get signals that can lead us to our Soul. We can take an unusual view of things. We can look back on the impregnations of the past with a new perspective. We see the patterns in ourselves and others, both productive and destructive. At the midway of the retrograde period the Sun and Mercury meet. The mind meets the soul in reflection and we are open to the collective. New insights about past or present life and coordination issues are symbolized. Messages or symbols come from the personal and collective subconscious; they can be new or alternative insights about some part of life experience. Fusions of the disenfranchised parts of our life can be affected. As we turn toward the dénouement of the retrograde we begin to gather our resources to be prepared for affirmative forward action when it goes direct. Then we can implement our new insights and perspectives into new ways of seeing, communicating, and envisioning.
 
The single parent will get positive reinforcement and the break they need too. These energies are good for encouraging self-confidence and independence as well as building self-worth. Reciprocal support and encouragement offers direction, without the need for control. The balance between comfort and support or self-determination is more instinctive. We can allow our children to follow their inclinations with a clear mind. Increased involvement with children is likely.
 
People feel nurtured through physical activity, adventure and even debate. We are fiercely protective if the occasion arises. We can teach others by example. Children learn by watching and observing their parents whether or not they actually try to do so during their youth. What they learn now will be what they turn to when needed. It is locked into their memory bank where they can emulate at will. We can nurture others whether they want it or not. A lot of drive and energy is channelled into caring for or defending others.
 
4TH BALSAMIC MOON Moon in Cancer is a sweet vibration for this phase of intuitive enhancement and emotional refreshment. The Sun in Virgo helps to fine tune reception and understanding. We will be particularly mindful of the ways in which we have become out of balance with ourselves, let alone with others. The chaotic escalation of the speed of life remains in a circling pattern. It will take everything we have to still our busy minds to capture the essence of that still point within; to touch base with our intrinsic nature. This is the time for our touchstone! Good news comes where disaster might have seemed all too likely. We renew our caring and giving vows and suspend normal judgmental limitations. Pulling ourselves back into the personal turning to our circle of loved ones would be a natural response.
 
8TH NEW MOON Ready or not here we go. Another lunar month is underway and we are at the starting gate of a new phase or beginning the climb from our plateau of accomplishment to the next challenge. Travel is a good possibility with this phase, the beginning of a long journey that is well thought out and planned. Doubts about other people come from our conditional expectations. We are not a one size fits all reality. What we need to accept is we cannot understand everyone now. We cannot know why they are the way they are. That alone should help us transform our base of compassionate acceptance and tolerance. Children can act out, find their power and exercise it in the direction they want their life to follow but some can be influenced by others rather than by their own wise choice. Many ups and downs in the home or about a home because decisions have to be made.
 
VENUS ENTERS SCORPIO This is an extremely passionate energy field. Fascination, intrigue, adventure, sexuality and in depth relationship are generated. Strong and powerful experiences reverberate to the core of our being. We are prone to magnetic relationship. So these influences can be deeply satisfying or deeply disturbing depending on each individual's state. We become vulnerable because of the profoundly intense feelings that are stirred up. Being reactive we must reconsider our first response. It is likely to be a defence posture.
 
In relationship powerful emotions like rage, anger, jealousy and other intensities come from the deepest part of who we are. Our hearts tend to close up, we fear rejection and other paranoia surfaces and so too misunderstandings. We tend to project our suspicions onto others, intrude on their space and become intensely emotional. Some can become too possessive and others too controlling.
 
JUPITER RE-ENTERS PISCES We are not yet ready to pioneer the new age. We are fledglings in the collective unconscious. During Jupiter's retrograde back into Pisces personal sacrifice may be the true wisdom we realise. We feel the pain around us and are more aware of the world's pain. Caring for, and helping the less fortunate fills a need deep within; we are content to remain behind the scenes and do not seek the spotlight. We can feel blessed by these energies.
 
Being more sensitive and reclusive we listen better and connect at a deeper more spiritual level. Strong intuition or psychic receptivity and imagination enrich our higher mind. Compassion, sympathy and emotional warmth are strong. The creative and healing arts are accelerated. Meditation expands our life experience. But our temporary compassionate nature can recoil if someone takes advantage. For some this can be the impetus to drift too far into fantasy, others may rely on drugs or other methods to escape reality however for many we can reconnect to our highest self.
 
9TH If we try, we can stop the world and tap into a deep sense of peace and draw it into our heart and soul. Current events and experiences serve to teach us how people relate to each other and the universe. We gain insight into the silent structure of convention and agreement in the world. We seek terms of mutual agreement that can make our earth a productive and agreeable place for humans to live. We are more fully accepting of things beyond limited labels.
 
Although we are not very assertive, energetic or ambitious we benefit by the spiritualised atmosphere. Being more detached about what is happening in the world; growth in universal understanding can build toward a collective social release. We reap the rewards of past good karma. Filled with humility our ego can become weakened but we are made more aware of other people's needs and wants. We can be drawn by the need to be of service, to help others or to tune into the higher mental faculties and prophetic abilities. We must, however, be ever mindful of wishful illusion.
 
Irritation and other non-descript states can affect our state because we are absorbing these things from our environment. Boundaries are permeable. Whatever is experienced now can stimulate, inspire and fascinate a sense of adventure and a quest for the unknown. Creative energies are definitely stimulated and the fine arts or artistic use of machinery is favoured. We are attracted to the artistic community and other fringe communities of society.
 
10TH We are moving away from the place where we built our life structure and foundation, especially if we created due to the threat of disapproval, the expectations of others. We are challenged to find a working compromise, an agreement to disagree, a more free expression, better choices and decisions. We no longer suffer from feeling stupid in the ways we used to. We resolve some of our repetitious patterns. We strengthen our discipline, increase our sense of accomplishment and make the adjustments we need to make by way of our own authority.
 
A quickened curiosity can be an asset to a search for meaning, information or understanding. We grasp concepts more rapidly. Physical vitality, dexterity and good coordination help us to act in harmony with our ideals and values, knowing what we want and going after it. Much depends upon cultivating a detached and objective approach. This means releasing attachments to desire and materialism so that reorientation can find its own level.
 
A transition of values and the resolution of asserting ourselves are supported by the universe. We have good instincts for doing the right thing. By doing so, we will experience an increase in physical vitality and self-confidence. But we are mentally restless and will thrive in an environment of movement, change and intellectual stimulation. Freedom is accented along with eagerness to pioneer in moving forward.
 
11TH CRESCENT MOON At this close angle, the Sun in Virgo casts the crescent shape of its light upon the Moon's disk in Scorpio. This is not the phase to go charging out ahead, we are cautious, careful, reticent and weary. The passions of our heart and mind need to remain safely coddled within our field of intention as we feel our way to asserting ourselves more confidently. The inevitable fate plays its hand within relationship while we can only be the audience rather than the director. Strong committed friends are a source of sustainment and support. We can doubt and fear more readily than there is need for.  But good financial decisions can be made for profitable results if strategy falls into place.
 
12TH Commitments like marriage or contractual agreement will experience some tension and difficulty because conditional arrangements need to change. The old stipulations are based on redundant expectations and a more satisfactory compromise can improve an enduring bond. Tradition or social acceptability need not play a role at all. If there is opposition or disapproval, confinement or resistance then distancing will result.
 
MERCURY STATIONARY DIRECTMercury is once more direct in motion and retracing its steps to make things right. We are picking up where we left off, getting on with what we were doing or becoming interested in things outside the self. Getting a second chance to decide on certain things we can choose a different and better pathway. Open to a variety of different viewpoints; we scan ideas, events and experiences for whatever rings true as relevant. We are willing to listen to the beat of another's drum; comprehend another's way of interpreting and be curious about how another weaves the experiences of life into higher understanding. By September 27th Mercury will gain new ground and we will be done with what was therefore we can get on with forging ahead.
 
13TH We are prone to rash, impulsive, sudden, and unexpected actions which make us accident prone. We rush things as we charge ahead at full speed. We want to change everything yesterday, for the sake of change and to get out of a rut. We will not take criticism easily and will want to be independent of people who challenge the way we do things. We fight for the freedom to do our own thing and thereby gain respect from others. It is as if we feel we must prove something to someone or we want to convince others by our actions. It is possible to push to physical exhaustion by doing more than others and taking on too much responsibility for others. Other people will impose if we permit it. Impossible demands may be physically punishing or unnecessary.
 
Abundant energy is bound to take a risk. We need to be careful not to expose ourselves to accident or incident by taking on more than we can handle and overextending ourselves in any way. This is time to finish up tasks in order to be liberated to take on new experience. Clumsiness and lack of control of the physical body is not an unlucky streak, just the results of trying to go too far too fast. Restless energies are impulsive, we cannot stay still but we get tripped up by what we have left undone. Eager for new experience and change, we lack the usual self-discipline. We take liberties, stretch our compliance to our responsibilities and exercise other modicums of freedom. It is only rashness that could be a problem.
 
Under this influence, however, others may feel we are putting them down if we try to take care of them. We need to recognize that our competitive instincts are in gear when we are in service to others. Also, we need to evaluate projects before we get involved with other people's unrealistic expectations in a way that leaves us drained and unappreciated. If we are able to evaluate our everyday habits in a positive way, we will see whether or not they really support our long term goals.
 
PLUTO STATIONARY DIRECTDuring any planetary station we experience a Still Point; a portal of infinite possibility. Pluto is the single most important symbol we have for alchemical transformation, bringing the shadow to light for the purpose of experiencing greater empowerment, the shamanic death and rebirth. Pluto is stationing direct on the world crisis point. Due to recent economic turmoil this resumption of direction can suggest we have had the time to review the reversals and make appropriate adjustments so it is time to go forward once again.
 
But and this is a karmic but, if all of the issues of world crisis and our changing times are not given continued credence we could face further rumblings and spewing forth of whatever has remained hidden with regard to motive, ethics and values. We can expect these things to have influence over the masses. The old system must die for a new healthier system to take its place and letting go of the old is not easy when there is so much fear and money invested in the current system. It is time for another Plutonian Report Card grading us on how evolutionary we have become.
 
14TH MARS IN SCORPIO Mars in Scorpio has a strong will; it can be pushy because pressure is applied steadily and persistently until we achieve what we want. We experience such strong likes and dislikes that it is hard to be neutral about anything.  We will relate to the world more emotionally, and we are more reactive, knee-jerk and compulsive. But this influence also strengthens the will with persistence.  This energy field increases sarcasm and spitefulness. If we form a grudge now we may hold it for quite a long time.
 
The intensity and passion of these influences is strong. There is a tendency to hold back, repress emotion, irritation, anger or upset but this can be frightening for others as we slowly burn with very intense feeling. Aggressive impulses are easily upset by the increasing sense of pressure. Quick to become angry, enraged or spiteful, the adrenals will get over-worked. Clashes between people can be scary. The energy current that fuels our physicality is intensifying, strengthening and reverberating to the depths of our core.
 
Compulsions or irrational impulses may be stimulated by memories of past incidents or reoccurrences of similar circumstances.  These vibrations bring the fighting instincts out in everyone, into which people are willing to pour themselves heart, mind, body and soul because their deepest emotions are involved.  Everyone will relate and react to the world in a very emotional manner. Through till November 16th compulsions or irrational impulses fuel an intensity of emotion.
 
FIRST QUARTER MOON The Sun still in Virgo at a ninety degree angle to the Moon in Sagittarius. There is earthquake potential within relationship, domestic situation, family or karma. Whatever surfaces will force us to deal with our organic essence and to change our soul's perspective. We form new relationships to living and cut the ties we had to the past. We can cut the cord of agreements made over many lifetimes with our etheric golden scissors. It is never possible to cut the ties of love, but all other attachments, bonds, commitments or mind sets can be disconnected from the soul. Sometimes we do not recognise where we need to change and then it happens to us but always remember it is happening for us. Old structures have to dissolve to give way to new order. These are creative times when fate and destiny collide with our ability to make better choices from a deeper wisdom. Be still, listen to the inner voice, and evolve.
 
15TH When things are breaking down there is no either/or, right or wrong, black and white answer. We need to co-create our reality in terms of inclusivity. Find a way to satisfy the needs of everyone involved by participating in a co-committed way. Even where there is difficulty, we can create a very strong partnership by working on our differences now. There are difficult choices and some conflict and we need non-traditional answers. Notice the father issues that surface, let them go, we do not need to carry these around with us throughout our lifetime. Whether male or female, we need to claim our masculine side in our own way according to our own image. We can work things out with others and still remain true to ourselves.
 
18TH JUPITER RETROGRADE CONJUNCT URANUS RETROGRADE ~ REGRESS PISCES Once again the evolutionary planets of growth and transformation are coming together but this time they are both in retrograde. Turned inward and self-reflective but also regressed into the sign Pisces, the sign of the soul and the collective unconscious. Being more sensitive and reclusive we listen better and connect at a deeper more spiritual level. We have been prepared for this spiritual awakening since March of 2003.
 
Pisces works on the deepest level of the collective unconscious and individual subconscious. We once again get an opportunity to recover lost memories, past lives and remember in new ways with open ended beliefs and radically altered mind sets. Here are some of the catch words; surprise, reform, freedom, chaos, sudden opportunity, leap to escape, unreliability, inconsistency and change. This zone encourages idealism, new thinking, ingenious solutions, technological advances, social or global change and major transformation. But too the underground revolutionary cause.
 
Travel opportunities can open up or close down. We have already seen this with the eruption. Also, the oil leak is a testimony to the principle of learning fast and quick by pooling all intellectual resources. Now we can tap into the collective intelligence! These two highly original and highly unconventional planets can achieve great success through invention, innovation or electronics. At this time the scientists involved in all recent catastrophes will be able to learn more from the experience. More adventuresome and spontaneous problem solving is the result of emergent need. But sudden changes in fortune or restlessness can stimulate new directions; we must realise these are born of the subconscious.
 
We are preparing for a new order and should find it extremely easy to make change. An alteration to our original plan is meant to be. Medical procedures, heavy cleaning, elimination, etc. may be needed. The resistance we felt toward the necessity can be overtaken by very ardent energy. We can tackle the most difficult task. Group goals and objectives bring out the cooperative ethic. We are seeking some sort of permanence in this constantly shifting environment. Strive hard to set actions in motion because they will have a far-reaching affect. Look inside for the answers. Freeze; do not do anything until a clear picture is formulated internally. Then forge ahead. Strong psychological forces can be therapeutic. We can make strides in our self-discovery. We need to work to become clear about our purpose. We may encounter high energy persons or even extreme events. 
 
GIBBOUS MOON The Sun at the end of Virgo intercepts the Moon from Aquarius to create a think tank of sorts. We can expand on our ways of thinking, our life structure can become more flexible and our focus can change. This is a very personal process and we will not necessarily want to share our concepts with others at this fledgling stage. But the optimism and insight that can be provided gives us the inspiration to set our objectives with faith and trust in ourselves above all else. New commitments can be made as old ones dissolve. The less we are being true to ourselves the more things will need to change.
