 Andromeda Astrology is On the Move
During July and August we will
be moving into larger premises. This will result in some down time during
August which is unavoidable.
Until we reach this point Samantha is still available during
business hours; while evenings and weekends are occupied with the change of
residence and office which includes Dave's construction business plus all its
wondrous equipment and building supplies.
The telephone number and email
address will remain the same. The new address will appear in next month's
newsletter.
We look forward to a happier and more spacious atmosphere on this
three acre community property with boat builders, art studio, organic garden,
chickens and 2 pigs. The wild deer and rabbits are plentiful too.
This rural
atmosphere is a mere 8.4 km away from our existing premises. That is about 8 to
10 minutes up the road on the edge of the city limits. Truly we are blessed.

Finally, each sign has a
forecast for the month starting with the sign the Sun is in now and progressing
through each sign of the zodiac. Each Sign's Monthly Forecast is a series
of koans that follow the chronological order of the journal of days with
influences.
The Sign Forecasts delineate
the positions of the planets for each member of the zodiac and suggest how they
will customise specifically in each case. Understanding how the days are
influenced generally as well as specifically helps us to make articulate
choices and understand others as well as ourselves. It is advisable to read the

Where Are The Planets Now
The SUN is in Leo until August 22nd.
MERCURY is in Leo
until July 27th when it enters Virgo. Mercury will Retrograde August
20th.
VENUS is in Virgo
until it enters Libra August 6th.
MARS is in Virgo
until July 29th when it enters Libra.
JUNO is in Leo.
CERES is direct in
Sagittarius.
PALLAS
ATHENAis in Scorpio for most of 2010; due to a retrograde it is still retracing its
steps, mid-September Pallas will energise new terrain. Pallas Athena enters
Sagittarius October 7th 2010.
VESTAis
in Virgo until August 8th when it enters Libra.
JUPITER entered Pisces
January 17th, 2010 where it will transit until January 22nd,
2011. The annual retrograde will occur July to November 2010.
SATURN is in Libra until
October 5, 2012. Since Saturn was retrograde we will not be dealing with new
territory until September.
CHIRON After briefly
touching in April Chiron has regressed back into Aquarius and will retrograde until
November. Chiron will not fully enter Pisces where it will help us heal our
spirit and all wounds until February 3rd, 2011. The Aries point will
be reached April 19th 2018
but regression into Pisces occurs September 27th, 2018. So we will
not begin a new era with Chiron until February 19th 2019.
URANUS is in Aries
although its retrograde causes it to retreat back into Pisces August 13th.
Uranus turns direct December 5th 2010. We will finally get off to a
new start with Uranus in Aries March 12th 2011.
NEPTUNE is in Aquarius
all year. It is in retrograde until November 6th. It enters Pisces
February 3rd, 2012 which should be a blessing for many.
PLUTOis
in Capricorn until 2024. It is retrograde and will turn direct on
September 13th, 2010.

Wisdom From
the World Beyond
Silver Birch
So it was that world famous
healer Harry Edwards, with his then assistants George and Olive Burton, were
assured of a warm welcome when they paid a visit to Hannen Swaffer's home
circle. Here are the highlights of what the guide told them.
"Great as is the work that has
been achieved, the crown is still to be attained," said Silver Birch in
greeting his visitors. "You are coming into the fullness of your labours.
"All that has gone before is
the preparation. Just as John the Baptist paved the way for the coming of the
Nazarene, so the past years have paved the way for the coming events for
greater power to descend and work with you.
"The willingness, the
sacrifice, the trust which has attained almost to perfection, these bring their
own reward. Coalescence of the power of the spirit and the earthly forces
becomes closer and closer, with the result that very often you have what seems
the impossible taking place.
"I would like you to observe
the great speed in which this can be attained. Rejoice that great progress is
being made, that souls are being touched and the incentive is being provided to
others to strive to attain this measure of success.
"Keep your eyes on the one
purpose. That is to awaken souls to the reality of life. That is the reason,
the main reason, for all spirit activity. Nothing else matters.
"The healing, the comfort that
is attained through mediumship, the varying kinds of phenomena, all these draw
attention to the message that all who live are part of the Great Spirit,
spiritual beings, and they must realise that so that they shall claim their
heritage and fulfil their destiny."
The guide said he appreciated
"it is not easy always to do this work, but sometimes the greater the task, the
greater the difficulties that stand in the way.
"Spiritual attainment is not
easy, it is a lonely path; it must be so. If all the great heights to which
humanity can ascend were easy of attainment, they would not be worthwhile.
"The soul finds itself not
through ease, not through leisure, not through idleness, but through toil,
striving and difficulty. It was never intended to be easy.
"Those who see you perform
your acts of healing and think how easy this all is are only looking at the
surface. They forget that behind it all there are the years of struggle before
the present pinnacle has been reached.
"While they may be satisfied,
you must not be. You must realise that every peak when it is reached reveals
another peak that has to be scaled.
"The great value of our
meeting like this is that we who are not in your world can remind you of the
eternal principles, the unfailing spiritual truths, and the foundation upon
which we all rest.
"You who are encased in matter
and have to face the daily problems and obstacles of your material bodies
sometimes become so engrossed with these purely material things that you lose
sight of the great spiritual realities behind them.
"How easy it is to think of
the body as the individual and this world in which you live as the reality and
not to realise the truth, which is that your world is the shadow and that your
body is but the instrument of a much larger self.
"If only every hour of the day
each one of you had the true perspective and could view every problem that
arose in the light of spiritual knowledge how much easier it would be ,but,
alas, it is not so."
The guide added: "Even those
who are engaged in the great task of co-operating with the power of spirit
forget, again and again, their primary obligations and are unable to measure up
to the standard that their knowledge requires of them.
"Knowledge is a great teacher,
a great helper, but it is always a great responsibility as to what you will do
with the knowledge that you have attained.
"I know that in the course of
your labours you will meet with many problems, some that will seem almost
impossible to explain, some that will puzzle you, but this must be so.
"We
are confronted again and again with the human element in your world and in
ours. The law is perfect, but it has to work through imperfect beings. It is
impossible to predict with mathematical certainty what will happen with the law
when it has to operate through human beings."
Silver Birch explained that
circumstances may arise "that thwart event the best laid plans. Sometimes, I
have seen it happen after many long years of preparation that the one who is
chosen for the task decides according to his free will not to go ahead and all
that is wasted.
"But we can rejoice at the
measure of spirit power that is at work and we can rejoice that it is
increasing in intensity.
"The fact that you can relieve
and cure, the fact that you can help the suffering, the fact that this work
grows and does not lessen, the fact that many come to you seeking, even though
they may do so as their very last resort, all these are indications that the
power of the spirit is spreading.
"I am one of those who contend
that once an individual has been touched by the power of the spirit, he can
never be the same again. It brings to bear an influence that cannot be
described or even forgotten."
Later came: "The power of the
spirit is magnetic. You cannot break that magnetic link once it has been made.
"The mere fact that an
individual has been through your hands - and I use the word 'hands' in the
symbolic sense because they need not actually be personally treated - means
that he has made his own link, that the spirit magnet has joined the metal and
it will never be separated.
"To those who can see with the
eyes of the spirit, with clairvoyance, the dark patch shows a little light. It
is the first glimmer of understanding. It is as if the seed has pushed its head
above the ground. It has emerged out of the darkness for the first time.
"That is what you achieve. It
is very good to have the body put right, no one will dispute that, but it is
much more important that the soul shall come into its own and by bringing it in
touch with itself, to use the words of the Bible, finding itself. You have
placed it for the first time on the road that leads to understanding."
Here a member of the circle
commented: "Some people think that a process of magic has been achieved. They
think of the healer as a magician, not an instrument of the Great Spirit."
"I do not counsel it," replied
the guide, "because if you try to combine the two, it might be to the detriment
of what is more important for them at that moment.
"If you lay stress on the fact
that you are instruments of the power of the spirit, it may not sink in all at
once, but you have started them thinking."
Later, the guide explained
that "what you cannot control is the measure of the spiritual unfoldment of the
individual. I have touched on this before, but all is controlled by the
evolution of the soul.
"That is the decisive factor.
No soul can obtain for itself that to which it is not entitled. The body is but
the servant of the spirit; it is not the master."
"Do you mean that an unevolved
soul cannot be helped by spirit healing?" asked Mr. Edwards.
"Yes, that is precisely what I
mean," said Silver Birch, "but 'unevolved' is a difficult word. You must
appreciate that when I speak of the law, I do not refer to one law. I refer to
the law which comprises all the natural laws of the universe. These conform to
a perfect pattern.
"They are laws within laws all
the time. The universe is boundless; no one can see its limit. The universe,
like the Great Spirit, is infinite. The laws of the Great Spirit are infinite,
too, and progress is an infinite process.
"Every person in the world of
matter is a soul in a body. Now that soul is at a certain stage of evolution.
You cannot dismiss the past life; it must come into the picture.
"The body is an expression of
the mind, which, in its turn, is the expression of the spirit. The body
represents the stage that the spirit has attained.
"If
that soul is not to be healed because the pain is an essential concomitant of
the process of purification that the soul must pass through in order to be
ready for its next stage, then the power that flows through you cannot touch
it. There is no healer who can touch it.
"Pain is part of nature's
process; pain is part of the law; pain, sorrow and suffering - these are all
part of the natural law.
"You are back to what I have
always tried to tell you - that sunshine and shadow, peace and storm, light and
darkness, love and hatred, all these are parts of the law; you cannot have one
without the other."
"Pain is the result of
breaking the law," commented a member of the circle.
"Do not use the words
'breaking the law' - say 'transgressing it'," advised the guide. "But then you
can only learn about the law through transgression sometimes.
"You are not perfect beings.
You have the seed of perfection which is growing, but it can only grow through
the variety of conditions that life imposes.
"If there were no pain, no
storm, no difficulty, no suffering, no disease, the soul could not grow.
"The law cannot fail. If the
law could fail, then the Great Spirit would cease to be the Great Spirit and
the universe would cease to have any harmony or rhythm of purpose.
"You
must pin your whole faith on the exactness and perfection of the natural law
because there are stages where you cannot have knowledge and you must rely on
faith.
"I never decry faith born of
knowledge. I decry blind faith which becomes mere credulity. But you cannot
have all the knowledge and so you must perforce rely on some faith to help you.
"I do not want, as a result,
that you should avoid compassion, mercy or tenderness and say, 'This is the
result of the law; I can do no more.'
"That would be wrong. You must
strive to do your utmost because in your striving, you are fulfilling your own
spiritual obligations."

And Aquarius
Always sounding off about the poor,
As if their laziness
Wasn't responsible for their poverty,
And always talking
About the meaning of planetary positions
As if the beauty of the stars
That God put there for his glory
Wasn't enough for any god-fearing man.
Why,he even talked about a property tax,
As if any sane person would risk his home
To give some lazy do-nothing

The future of Leo is Virgo,

The road to Taurus

But when Leo excercises Tyranny

The road to Scorpio
winds its way
Through dark forests
And steaming swamps
Into narrow cul de sacs

May be trapped by Highwaymen
And every part of that road
Offers the possibility of death
By secret means, and the unknown grave.
If one survives the secret traps
And the attacks from ambush
One eventually finds himself
Traversing the Underground Maze
Which is the real domain
Of Scorpio.
To safely travel through
The Land of Death, and Transformation
One must attach to his waist
The silver cord of Life
So that he may safely return
To his physical body,
For Pluto, who rules the land of Scorpio,
Rules the center of the Earth,
And one may not pass to the center
In material presence.
Leo is limited most greatly
In his Royal Mandate
By the opposition of humanitarian ideals,
By the obstinacy and resistance to change
Of his royal subjects,
And by conspiracy, and intrigue
And death through assassination.
Leo forms a Grand Trine in Fire
With Aries and Sagittarius.
These are his natural allies
Whom he must enlist to his cause
So that his rule will be wise and enlightened.
Aries, the soldier and headstrong general
Who will risk his life
In adventurous combat
And drives forward, head down
To smash through resistance to his king.
Aries, whose sword enforces the King's Peace
So that Taurus may cultivate in safety
And Cancer's home be secure
So that Gemini may carry on his trade
And Virgo practice his craft.
Aries, the King's policeman
Serves the law of Libra
By bringing transgressors to justice, And guards them in the prisons of Pisces.
He defends, as the law requires

And reluctantly fills out the forms

Sagittarius
Takes the wisdom he learned as a young man
Travelling to foreign lands
And brings it back to his nation
So that his people will benefit

Leo needs the knowledge
Of the Traveller to distant countries
The judgement of the Philosopher
And the wisdom of the Sage
To rule his kingdom
With true nobility and justice.
Sextiling Leo
Is Gemini and Libra.
The footloose Merchant
Promotes prosperity through Trade
So that Taurus may have the tools
Crafted by Virgo
Which he pays for through the grain he grows
And Gemini trades this for lumber
Fashioned by Cancer
And spreads the news throughout the Kingdom
And his gossip is gleaned by Leo
For the information he needs
To make his rule secure.
And as for Libra
The King must deliver justice
And only Libra can make everything seem fair
And even-handed.
And it is Libra whose art
Praises the King's reign
And gains glory for the nation.
Capricorn and Pisces
Are Quincunx to Leo.
Capricorn is irritating to Leo,
Because he is the only one who can
Organize Leo's bureaucracy,
And Leo recognizes him as a necessary evil.
Capricorn's ambition is threatening
Because he knows Leo's weak points,
And Leo may command
But in most cases, it is Capricorn
Who must execute those commands.
Leo doesn't know all the right buttons to push.
He just has a few big buttons, and then it

But, we are not often lonely.
We have our queen
This lioness who purrs contentedly
At our side
And issues commands
As imperious as our own.
She meets fire with fire
And many have been the royal battles.
And we have a mistress....
The Lady Scorpio
Who bore my eldest son
In secret
-A kind of calculation
That he would sometime be king.
The Lady Scorpio
Is dark and alluring
And voluptuous with sex.
She has thick eyebrows
And full lips.
Her eyes are dark and magnetic
And she is a great strategist
Who has helped us mightily
In time of war
By questioning motives
And playing devil's advocate.
She can pierce to the core
The purpose and motives
Of those who indulge in palace intrigue.
I do not question her loyalty
For I have been gnerous
And would legitimize
My eldest son if it were possible.
But that would cause problems.
Two years after
Lady Scorpio bore my eldest,
My queen bore a son,
And he is a true Leo like me.
Ah, rule is so complicated,
And I would, if I could,
Labour like Taurus
And watch my grain grow
With not a care in the world.
The beauty of the land
Is lost to that obstinate peasant.
There is emnity
Between the Lady Scorpio
And my wife, the queen.
My queen dislikes the subtle intrigue
And ruthless use of influence
Of the Scorpionic clans,
And I fear she suspects and attraction
On my part towards that lady.
But even if she knew,
She would not admit it,
For as long as she remains innocent
She denies that knowledge legitimacy.
To admit that Lady Scorpio

As for the Lady Scorpio's uncle

I am convinced that those rumours
Circulating about my Queen's infidelity
Can be attributed to that snake,
The youngest Prince of Scorpio,
Who likes not our Light
Exposing his nefarious schemes,
And it is lucky for me
That the Aquarius and Taurus clans
Who can sometimes be a pain
In my own side,
Distrust Scorpio as much as I do.
They are unlikely allies
And not easily handled
Though Aquarius will compromise
If she perceives it in the interest
Of the people,
And Taurus can be bought off
By prosperity,
And both would revolt
Before the High Prince of Scorpio
Could take my place.
Of course,
Neither Aries nor Gemini
Would serve willingly
Under Scorpio rule.
Aries, my brother-at-arms
Would fight for me to the death,
And Gemini perceives something to fear
Perhaps, an intellect deeper than his own,
Though not as quick.
'Tis plain that Gemini feels vulnerable,
And being an intellectual,
He is more valuable
In the Ministry of Truth,
Than on the Field,
Sword in hand.
As for the lands of Scorpio,
No king alive
Has paid them a visit
Except the King of Kings
And He stayed no longer
Than three days.
Although, there is an old legend
Or myth, if you will
That Scorpio once ruled the kingdom
And great lizards ruled the earth.
They were destroyed by a shifting of the Poles,
And as the Poles shifted
To a new balance
The rulership went to Libra
And Scorpio was brought before the Law
By his successors
Who weighed the pros and cons
And after splitting many fine hairs
Decided in favour of banishment
(Being half-way between death and exoneration)
And Scorpio was sent
To the least favourable of lands,
Where you cannot plow a straight furrow
And where the serpent, and scorpion
And only occasionally the eagle
Whose vision can penetrate
Through the hardiest camouflage,
Rule that land.
Other than the eagle
Most of the birds are bats
Whose blood-sucking propensities
Fit the princes of that land
Very well.
It is said they sleep with serpents,
Or so Gemini told me
-Though not all that he says
Is dependable, for sometimes
He confuses rumour with fact.
However, I wouldn't contradict him
Or expose him for a liar,
As these kinds of rumours
Block Scorpio's challenge to my rule.
It is better to let Gemini
Fight for my throne with his words
Than to go out with Aries
And in fire and sword
Disperse those whom Scorpio
Has persuaded to his cause.
However, not all in my life is politics.
I am known as a great romantic
Able to sweep a lady off her feet
-As I did with the daughter
Of my court Astrologer
Who is an Aquarius.
He did, she said,
Offer her clear-minded counsel
And seemed to know exactly
What was going on
Despite being so absent-minded
That he forgets the supper hour
And generally so vague
As to be unaware of an earthquake.
And this actually happened
As he was reading my stars
Before an important battle
-And there was an earthquake
A mighty shaking
And a great scurrying about
Of servants, and screams and shouts
And terrible fear
That the palace would come down
About our heads
And that vague fool Aquarius
Just continued droning on
Totally engrossed in my stars
And I must sit there as wello,
Listening to him
Lest my flight out of danger's way
Make him seem more cool-headed than I.
And though, with anyone else
I would have rushed to safety
Hand in hand,
I had to sit there with Aquarius,
He fixed in obliviousness
And I fixed on my throne
In terrified pride.
And well it was that I stayed,
For the palace did not come tumbling down.
And when, in the great silence
At the end of the shaking
I gathered my wits and said,
"What do you make of that?"
He looked up
As if awake for the first time
And said."Force Five or thereabouts,
Not enough to do more
Than raise a lot of dust
And break a bit of crockery.
Certainly nothing to be disturbed at here.
The servants will set things aright
Soon enough, in the palace."
He looked down
As if to begin my horoscope again
And I interjected - "You weren't afraid?"
He looked at me, puzzled.
"It was just a little quake.
Nothing to get excited about."
"But how did you know," I asked.
"That this would not be a greater quake,
And that there would not be real danger?"
"Well." He said.
"I am a son of Uranus
Who causes quakes
Therefore, I just know.
Cannot you, a son of the Sun
Feel his warmth?"
"Now, as to the battle.
With Uranus at the midheaven
Trining your Sun,
And with the omen of an earthquake
Which had not the strength
To shake you from your throne
You will win this battle.
'Tis a very good thing." He slyly added.
"That you did not run from the quake
Else you might find yourself
Fleeing the battle.
The good omen, in this case
Depended on your steadfastness
And the outcome of the battle
Will depend on the same."
And so it went.
There was a point in the battle
That my confidence was shaken
And it seemed to go against us,
And my warriors looked to me
For reassurance.
Then I remembered the calmness
And the words of Aquarius
Who seemed always to oppose me.
And I fixed the point of my purpose.
A ray of sudden sunlight
Piercing through overhanging clouds
Glanced off my lance
Into the eyes of my enemy
Who looked away.
I shouted to my Standard Bearer.
"See how the Light of your Sovereign
Blinds the Enemy!
This is the Omen of Victory!"
It was repeated down the Lines
And when the attack came
We were steadfast,
And when the enemy fell back,
We followed them to Victory.
As I was saying,
I wished to take the daughter of Aquarius
As my mistress.
At first,
She did not seem really beautiful,
And then, day by day
Her beauty seemed to blossom
And she looked into my eyes
Not seductively, as Scorpio,
Or boldly, as Aries,
Nor with that sense of personal dignity
As does my own Lioness,
But this daughter of Aquarius

And issued her own commands

She liked the warmth of the Sun
And I was entranced
By the independence and unpredictability

Well, what could I do to call her bluff?
Cut off her head?
She was as exasperating as her father
Who popped up without Royal appointments
And disappeared as suddenly
Without Royal leave
Or even a goodbye
And would take up conversations
Where he left off the month before
But could not remember what he ate
Ten minutes ago.
With Aquarius, one never knows
If he is wise
Or a fool.
Or perhaps, he is a wise fool,
If there be such a thing.
Oh, that Lady Aquarius!
Her emotional detachment
Became a challenge to me,

Who broke hearts without knowing
-It's true - many young ladies

I realized then, that I must give comfort.

I asked Aquarius for her comfort
That I did not throw my life hopelessly away,
For now I was her subject
And to save my life
I must have her love.
"My love? Yes, my lord,

She impulsively kissed my cheek
And avoided my embrace.
"I am Aquarius - my love is platonic."
She smiled at me
And mocked me with a curtsy
And was gone.
I was furious
And was kicking the throne
In utter privacy
With only the servants and guards present
When a Page bowed before me
With a message.
The Lady Scorpio asked that
I take a certain route
On my way to the Round Table
As it would give us a moment of privacy
In the Garden of Little Bells.
Our son wished a favour.
Ah, yes. There are Affairs of State
-And I went to be dressed.
Afterwards, I directed my guards
And took the alternate route.
On the way
Someone had mounted a telescope
And some of the palace servants
Were vying for a view.
They scattered when the saw me
With hasty bows and scrapes
As if they had been caught
With their hands in the wrong pockets,
And my curiosity was piqued.
I looked through the glass
And realized I was looking
Through the window of the Star Tower
Where the father of Aquarius
Cast his horoscopes,
And there he was
Facing me
-In a passionate embrace
With my Queen!
Her back was to me, but it was her gown
And her golden locks
Cascading down that back.
They broke apart - he wild-eyed
Shouting something at her so earnestly
I almost expected to hear him,
But the glass
Only magnified my sight.
In my shock
I looked at the distant tower,
And could see nothing.
I bent my eye to the glass
And saw her in his arms
And that was enough.
I took the telescope
And marked where it had been
And handed it to one of the guards
So that no one else might see
The shame of my Queen.
I ordered the guard to take note
Of those who had been peering
Through that cursed instrument,
And to find, if possible, the owner.
My heart was frozen in sorrow
And my mind was in shock
So that I did not see
The Garden of Little Bells
And the Round Table
Deliberated without me.
I went to my private garden
And sat before the pool
Unmindful of the Sun's play
On the glistening water
And thought, and thought, and thought
And came up with nothing
But the embrace - over and over.
In the evening
I went to her quarters
Finding her at cards
With her lady-in-waiting.
The Lady Gemini
Was a winner in any other company
And a tactful loser
At least some of the time
To remain
My Queen's best friend.
She met me with a curtsy
At the door
And took my elbow
In her familiar hand
Speaking quietly a warning
In my ear.
"Milady is not in a very good humour.
If you didn't bring flowers
You had best keep it short.
I'll be in the other room
In case she has to be restrained."
That's Gemini, always making jokes.
Bad humour. She hasn't seen bad humour.
I watched her exit the room.
From the back,
She had an uncanny resemblance
To the Queen,
But the glare I was met with
Had a power
That banished any hint of similarity.
I glared back at her
-The embrace still overshadowing.
"Well, what have you been up to today?"
We both said simultaneously.
I tried again.
"Nothing good, I'm sure."
Again, simultaneously.
Gemini poked her head in the door.
"Now, say together. I love you."
We both sniffed, loudly.
"My love is not in question."
Said both of us.
"I am very angry." Said my Queen.
I have made four appointments this month
With that useless star-gazer.
He doesn't keep those appointments.
Instead, he keeps other appointments.
Other appointments,"
She looked at me significantly.
"With people of much lower rank.
Even....commoners."
"Oh well." I said.
"Without commoners
We'd have no servants
-Nobody to tax
-Nobody to grow the grain,
Or empty the chamber pots.
Commoners are important too, you know."

Even if I have to empty
My own chamber pot.

Who thinks his Queen can be kept waiting.
If I were King here,

She over-rode my attempted interjection.

You can defent yourself against your Queen,

"Oh." I answered.

I snapped my fingers.

And told Capricorn,

To have Aquarius the Astrologer arrested
And brought before me in three days
For judgement.
"Aquarius? Arrested?
What now....what charges?"
Capricorn's mouth stayed open
"Gravely insulted the Queen.
Terrible. Terrible. She feels betrayed.
I have to do something.
She is quite distraught.
I have no idea what he did....
It was too terrible for her to divulge.
She will no doubt testify
When the time comes."
"Yes Milord. Your Majesty.
But if I may offer a little advice...."
He paused significantly.
"Well. Speak up."
He was always so damned slow
In his speech.
I waited impatiently for his thoughts
To begin to activate his tongue.
"I agree, Milord. Your Majesty.
Aquarius can seem insulting to those of us

And filled his head with unlikely aspirations.
Astrology has no logical basis.

The world is logical. Aquarius is not.
Anyway, it is going to take a lot longer

Capricorn bowed. "Yes, your Majesty.

She spoke evenly and quietly.

"Oh." I replied blandly.
"There is no profit
In losing my Astrologer.
But this is a matter of justice,
Of charges brought by the Queen,
And if he be innocent
He shall suffer no harm.
But if he be guilty,
It would not be right that
He escape the justice
Which would be meted out
To the common man."
"And what." She asked.
"Are the charges?"
"For that." I answered.
"You must ask the Queen,
For she has complained."
"She has complained about what?"
"I forgot to ask.

This was beyond even my powers.
"My Lord." She whispered,
Her hand stroking my forearm.
"You have not visited me for a long time.
Come tonight. I have important matters to discuss
Concerning the current crisis.
I have heard..." She paused weightily.
"That the charges are a complete fabrication,
And I fear that you are being
Subtly manipulated.
This situation can end up quite serious.

Our son has missed his father so much,

Her great black eyes
Suddenly filled with tears,
She kissed me impulsively

And she couldn't possibly know anything.

And the Queen

Against any interruption - I was sure,
While she debated what to do
With the head of her secret lover

As witness for the Prosecution.

I heard from Capricorn
That the Lady Aquarius
Had engaged Libra
To act in her father's defense.
Aries, of course,
Would act for the Prosecution.
I detected a strong note of sympathy
In Capricorn's voice
When speaking of Aquarius,
For the two
Though as different in some ways
As they were alike in others,
Were good friends,
Both touched by Saturn, though differently.
Shortly after that,
One of the Virgos
Who edited the National News
Sent Gemini to interview me.
After the usual preliminaries
Where I presented him
With my latest book of poems
And he assured me
He had thoroughly enjoyed my last work,
In fact had it bound in fine leather
On his bookshelf,
We got down to business.
"What, My Lord, are the charges
That have been laid against Aquarius?
I have heard from some authorities
That they are fabrications."
"What authorities?" I asked quickly.
"I'm sorry, Your Majesty,
But under Act 347 Royally proclaimed,
I am not required to divulge my sources.
Are these charges of a serious nature,
Or not?"
"Well." I said.
"Under Royal Prerogative
I am not required to divulge information either.
Perhaps we can make a trade."
Gemini's eyes lighted up
At that magic word.
He prided himself on his powers
Of persuasion.
"Yes, My Lord. Perhaps we can deal."
He smiled cheerily, his big white teeth
Bared in enthusiasm.
"I will tell you what I know,
Except of course,
The identities of my sources
Which are protected by law,
If you will tell me what you know."
"Sorry, Gemini. I'm interested
In Rumour Mongers, not rumours.
You'll have to do better than that."
"Well, My Lord, perhaps a hint,
And in return
You might reveal the nature
Of the charges."
"Yes Gemini.
I think we can deal.
Give me your hint,
And I'll give you
The nature of the charges."
"Well, My Lord, it might be more appropriate
For you to give me the nature of the charges
First, as they will be public in time anyway,
And then I will give you the hint of identity."
Ah, Gemini, Gemini...
You know well
That the King always comes first
And whatever else is appropriate
It is always appropriate
That the gift be given to the King
Before the person requesting the favour
Receive the King's bounty.
And what does it matter, after all.

I brushed past Gemini
With his open mouth
Into the garden
To muse over
Who those authorities were
Who were so sure
The Queen's charges would be fabrications.
I smiled grimly.
I had gained nothing from Gemini
Except the satisfaction
Of besting him at his talent.
The Round Table had been created
By my Grandfather's Magician
In order to stabilise the kingdom.

Into granting some measure of equality.

Greetings!
This is a month of many
shifts. When we are on an amusement park ride we enjoy the bumps, knocks and
sharp turns or steep grades in the spirit of a thrill. But when it is the
roller coaster of life we are less enthusiastic. Certainly July has already
been filled with more excitement and stimulation than most of us enjoy
commonly. We have had to think on our feet which can result in many missed
moves and mishaps. Shaken out of our lethargy we are in a whole new environment
of anticipation or treading water. So July will continue into August with new
changes, new influences, and new chances to change our mind appropriately. But
perhaps we will not be as anxious with these consciousness raising energies.
We are in the karmic field of
unfoldment. If we had our full wits about us we would continue in the same old
vein of existence. This is not what this era is about. It is a unique
opportunity to align our souls differently and so achieve progress at a vast
rate. The universal or spiritual laws that we live with are perfect but they
operate through imperfect human beings. The imperfections of the human race are
being addressed and so too each of us are faced with our need for evolution. I
have included an article from Two Worlds Magazine. It is an excerpt from a
Silver Birch healing circle where he is talking to a world renowned healer
about this very phenomenon. I invite you to read it with an open mind.
If we can think of things as
an illusion it is easier to work with what is. This does not mean we are in
denial, it means we acknowledge that all of the conditions of life are created
by how and what we think. We create the illusion of pain and decide to live in
it. Once we identify that we are creating our reality then we know it is our
illusions of how things are because of what they should be, not actually how
things are, that give us the problems we experience. What we do not have. What
has been taken from us.
We focus on the problem not on
gratitude for what we do have. This is a difficult concept to grasp but once
you do it alleviates the process that gets us into states we cannot handle. Of
course it takes choosing to think differently. We need to realise that when we
compare what we have to our ideal of what we should have, or what others have,
then we feel something is wrong. In the spirit of the power of now we need to
rephrase our mind's scripts to create our own prophecy of what is to come. Take
a difficult situation and reword it into a hopeful future. How we experience
this time on our globe has everything to do with the evolution of our soul.
From Gratoodle I discovered a series of short videos on Positive Psychology from Harvard
University. The first two videos are 8 and 9 minutes long, but the most
interesting summation is contained in the third 4 minute video which includes
the idea of taking thirty-seconds to change your life by changing your
thoughts. When we raise the base line around which our lives revolve we
increase our happiness. Considering five things we are grateful for every
morning and acting on our thirty-second mind intervention technique we can
increase our happiness for 24 hours.
Doing this over twenty-one
days increases our happiness over the course of six months. To journal
something positive for three minutes every day, we become more social and
improve the immune system. We need to consider simplifying how we do things and
leave multi-tasking to our computers because it is stressful and eats away at
our organs. We can use exercise as an anti-depressant and meditation to change

Calendar of Days with Influences
21ST SATURN ENTERS LIBRA From
October 29th 2009 to April 6th this year Saturn occupied
Libra then the retrograde took it back into Virgo. Now as Saturn re-enters the
full force of Libra will settle into play. In essence we have two and a half
years that spirit will direct our focus toward peace, fairness, and a well
balanced life. One-to-one relationship has to have integrity, complementary
goals, fair treatment, individual freedom of assertion, fulfilment of each
other's needs and freedom. We are looking for balance, integrity, and fairness.
We continue to redesign our definition of "self" as it includes an "other". Our
ability to commit, play by the rules or honour personal boundaries will be
important issues in partnership.
Flaws will be evident, fear of
losing or being rejected too. We need to work on give and take, responsibility
and doing our share. We can get to a healthy, balanced decision only if we take
our time doing so. Try to compromise rather than control. Saturn demands
definitions, structures, and commitments. But for many of us, as soon as
something is defined, structured, or committed, we might feel caged, trapped,
or limited. So we need to carefully refine our goals in partnership to make
clear relationship choices and decisions. This is a good time for weeding out
what is not working, for letting go of lost causes, and for defining our
relationships by defining what it is we want or expect from them. We need to
know where we stand. The goal in partnership should be to work as a team rather
than as adversaries.
We are dilly dallying with our
creative ideas and perceptions; finicky with our procreative energy be it
mental, artistic or activist pursuit. If we are a writer, words are difficult
to form and we will feel blocked. Issues with the father or a denied and
rejected mother figure interfere with our psychology. We will become aware of
the split in our emotional and intellectual sides. Loving ourselves more means
wanting to nourish and nurture this fracture and other conflicts that become
apparent. Issues can be between family and career. Problems with food,
digestion, and feeling protected or taken care of will be troublesome. We need
to resolve any feelings of inadequacy. We can deny our giftedness or resolve to
be our own best caregiver.
We
are imbalanced by our urges and inner conflicts. Reticent and disconnected we
are in a sort of limbo. Longing for solitude we are instead pulled between
family and work. We want to only be involved with what we care about but our
duties call. Obligations and
responsibilities challenge our ability to take care of ourselves well and
fully. This can be distressing to our newfound sense of self-nurturing. We are
not drawn to the parental role or attending family necessities and this is a
dilemma. The paradigm of mother is in question. Everything in moderation is a
good motto. This is true with food and oral-gratification. Avoid seeing in
monochrome. Our spiritual choices may raise opposition. We must exhibit great
strength of character.
GIBBOUS MOON The
Sun is still in Cancer at this moment, sitting on the cusp and the Moon is
found in Sagittarius. We can usually absorb things better during this phase and
it is very true for this one. Take time to nurture the soul and regenerate the body's
batteries. It is likely we will uncover information we have long wished to
know. We are drawn to whatever karmically is important to our evolution. Hard
work seems easy. Relations are comfortable. Many activities keep us busy. But
concerned over the economy and our finances will keep us wondering. Better strategies
will be developed.
People
are focused on their own intentions. It tends to alienate. Feeling blocked we
become stressed. It is best not to look for approval and to maintain
consistency in an integrated view. Just as others withhold consideration we
feel unable to distract our focus to consider others. Do not take others at
face value. Do not take things personally. We would waste our energies and time
if we tried to please.
22ND SUN ENTERS LEO Happy Birthday
to all Leos. The
element of fire in a fixed state makes us exuberant, proud, outgoing, and
playful but not content with simply being just one of the team. Like the
flowers and fruit of the season blossoming and ripening it is time to shine,
add a touch of colour or drama to our lives, and perform. We seek success and
want to be at the heart of any situation. These influences are proud, generous
and grand but also demanding, self-centred and vain in some cases. We should
enjoy increased organisational ability, improved management skills. We are
ambitiously anxious to execute our tasks or to take leadership. We are drawn to
theatre, speaking engagements and the arts. We want to inspire others and
radiate faith. People can be a comfort to each other like a fire in a
fireplace. But with this sign some territorial issues can arise with a tendency
toward protectiveness. Hospitality goes hand in hand with pleasure as do
humility, thriftiness and benevolence. We can visualise the big picture
23RD JUPITER RETROGRADE With Jupiter,
the turning points occur in favourable aspect to the Sun so Jupiter Retrograde
has a positive effect. Halfway through the retrograde Jupiter and the Sun sit
in opposition to each other, one setting as the other rises, Jupiter is very
bright and visible in the night sky because it is close to the earth. These
turnings happen with regularity, like a self-cleaning oven; to keep things from
getting out of hand. We slow down to follow our own path with this automatic
braking system rather than be led by others. We can assert our stand. Personal
self-reflection, faith and independent learning are what we seek. We feel we
are left to fend for ourselves which can result in the discomfort of anxiety
and defensiveness. Objectivity sizes up the situation. We attend to the
unattended, undeveloped or unexpanded inner life. We redistribute our energies
more wisely as we examine our ethics and exercise our integrity. The
inappropriate is removed from our lives to provide growth. The end result is
beneficial. We return to previous beliefs, philosophies, legal matters and management
policies to understand what was unclear before. We question government,
education, the experts, the laws, religion and travelling to strange lands.
24TH We
want to repair, restore, rebuild and improve but even though the pressures
around us have eased we feel abandoned to our own resources. Fewer
opportunities arise; there is more resistance, opposition and suspicion so
people are easily threatened. They are provoked easily by the appearance of
power and influence or authority. Profound dreams, visions, meditations and
inspirations link our consciousness to what we need. Be prepared to rethink or
re-examine plans and ideas. Authority will scrutinise tightly. Legal conflicts
can arise, old legal issues can resurface but new points of law can now be included.
We may feel like life is happening "to" us as we need to make choices we do not
want to make but it is really what we need for our evolution. We are in shaky
ground and have loose footing so be prepared to quickstep. Avoid criminal
behaviour, suspicious activity and neighbourhoods of high crime.
25TH FULL MOON With the Sun in Leo the fullness naturally puts the Moon in the polar
opposite or shadow sign of Aquarius. This is the polarity that accentuates
individuality. If we are not following our destiny and fulfilling our
potentials then we will come to realise what we need to do through the turn of
events that occurs now. We still have enough practicality of Virgo to help us
balance the fledgling Saturn in Libra. When things fall apart we can identify
what needs to be rebuilt in their place. We are the only people who can keep
ourselves on the merry-go-round of repetitive reoccurrence. It is time to
switch tracks and where we need to do this should come to light. Lots of
activities will transpire now, many metamorphic experiences can be shared with
others and together we co-create a vision of value for the future. Our combined
strategies mingle in the collective where the seeds of future intention are
created.
26TH We
lose a degree of dexterity as the edges get blurred and things become
questionable. Overanxious and unrealistic, double-check and do not be hasty, be
careful with machinery, driving or working with sharp implements. What would
normally be a definitive act gives us more irritation than warranted.
Boundaries are permeable which can be emotionally and psychically draining and
lead to low energy. There is an increased vulnerability to social disease in
casual relationship. Psychosomatic conditions, inhibition and other
psychological maladjustment are prevalent. Some seek escape or fantasy.
Although the intuitive is enhanced to help us realise what we must, we
flounder. Our ideals and expectations cause us some tension.
We continue in this pattern of obstruction or tension
if we are not becoming enlightened or self-expressive. Our more rigid patterns
and shadow stuff are difficult to get to. Anxiety can point to where we need
creative change. This is the time to redefine not grin and bear. Keep free,
fluid and open to wade through this turbulence. Take steps calmly do not fly
off the handle, do not wreck everything; make change. We are seeking balance.
Our challenges are trying to lead us to realisation.
27TH MERCURY ENTERS VIRGO Fine tuning of the filters of the mind cause details and techniques to
come easy. We have better dexterity with our hands say in craft work or other
practical tasks. The mind is activated to be thorough and therefore critical
and for some nitpicky. This is good for organisation, classification,
collecting, labelling or putting things in order. The memory is enhanced. A
busy mind, however, is apt to take on too many things. We prefer to work
quietly in the background accomplishing great tasks.
29TH We cannot move passed this
point if we are blocked and locked into our patterns, ruts, archaic aggressions
or depressions and woundedness. This can be painful; our personality disorders are
acutely obvious, we can get frustrated and angry with the process. Expectations
and guilt are wrapped up in this picture. Inner rage and hostility is
triggered. We need to fix ourselves rather than focus on fixing others.
Collisions are possible when taking a risk. Physical exertion can help to
mitigate the tension.
A very-laid back ambience
causes us to be more psychically sensitive but the increased idealism creates
great discrepancies with reality. We must be careful what we do for people we
feel sorry for; or we want to save. Our boundaries are lowered which allows
disillusionment and disappointment to get in because of our unrealistic
perception and expectation. We wrestle to find common ground or bridge the gap.
Spiritual concerns are important. Read the fine print and check out hidden
costs. Avoid financial schemes, financial involvement with unrealistic people,
being dependent on others for financing or being cheated. Weakened resolve can
be caught off guard. We are susceptible of hearing what we want to hear.
MARS ENTERS LIBRA
Mars is hanging out with Saturn and enters Libra on Saturn's heels just to keep
us concentrating on what is important and keeping things together. But there
can be a greater degree of wavering, indecision, consideration of all sides,
and procrastination. Be aware of
spending too much time trying to decide. We are all too ready to acquiesce to
another consideration thereby modifying our way. Now teamwork can accomplish
more than singular effort with this energy however we should be sure not to
compromise ourselves. Keep a fair and just balance for everyone. Corrective
measures and modifications keep the edge. There is a sense of competitiveness
which is best used in sports and other contests where we can get along at the
same time.
DISSEMININATING MOON The
Sun continues in Leo while the Moon is swinging around and coming back up
behind the Sun from its location in Pisces. Details are important and we will
be receiving the data that is pertinent to our cause. Relationships are
favoured. The rekindling of mutual interests and a combined goal dissolves the
intense focus on individual dissatisfactions. The events and changes in the
lives of the people around us are quite profound. Many new goals are taking
root. Resourceful ideas are becoming manifest. We are focused on making it
happen. Vitality is up and teamwork is encouraged. There is a tendency to spend
too much money, to splurge, go overboard or indulge.
30TH Powerful
energy is being released. High-strung, nervous and tense, we find it difficult
to slow down, pace ourselves, or relax. Avoid the desire to throw caution to
the wind. We all need to be an agent of creative change and integrated
consciousness. We need to scope for potential. This is an opportunity to act on
or initiate new conditions. However anything that is suppressed will become
unconstrained. Escapism, restlessness, impulsiveness, irritability, wrathful
anger and sudden surprising action are prompted. Great impatience comes as our
fuse quickens. Enemies act out. Plans change. The revolutionary
anti-authoritarian attitude of iconoclastic anarchists and activists could once
again become violent. Too much arrogant self-will can cause friction.
31ST Obstacles
and delays are to be expected, as are wasting time, being too serious, or
facing issues, tensions and fears. We take on too much responsibility,
obligation and duty. Anger, hard feelings and a negative attitude can lead to
resentment and self-doubt as it spirals down. There can be endings, but do not
quit or give up because there will also be progress, the slow but sure variety.
We need to review our desires and our resistances. Being challenged can cause a
vicious reaction that attacks the source of stress and should this be pushed to
the extreme it can produce physical violence.
1ST The
symbols involve idealism, ethics, fair play, equality, social justice, or other
values in our associations with others. We are transforming blocked energy. A
paradox needs to be solved to integrate duality or bridge the gap between. We
need to fix ourselves and our situations. It is possible to magnetically
attract the healing and guidance we need. It is important not to give up. What
we do now will add to our understanding and personal healing. Past life
patterns will resurface so we can disentangle ourselves from that evolutionary
path. There may be competitiveness instead of cooperation, differing
viewpoints, moral conflicts, ethical dilemmas or grand expectations. We need to
apply our mind and originality to negotiation, aesthetics, or political action.
There will be major transformational shifts. Relationships that are
incompatible with our commitments and spiritual beliefs may end or be redefined
in the interests of growth and healing. Do the spiritual polka!
2ND JUNO ENTERS LEO These are highly romantic, dramatic, and creative energies. Juno's
realm is conditional commitment and righteous adherence to loyalty and
fidelity. As well as relationship, we have strong ideas about children. In Leo
some will gather their retinue; others will seek drama, romance and excitement
in relationship. We want to take pride in our partner too, which may mean
wanting to improve them more to our standard. Some can become arrogant and
bossy others childlike and immature if not playful. If we feel we are being
taken for granted, rejected, or ignored we can become egocentric, selfish and
find other means of gaining inappropriate attention. We want to feel special.
We want to be treated with care and dignity. We want others to be generous,
devoted and loving. If people fall short of the pedestal we want them on we
feel abandoned or disillusioned.
LAST QUARTER MOON We
are winding down the lunar month and at this point we know whether our projects
are successful, whether they are worth revamping or if we should be turning our
attentions to what will succeed. It is a very changeable stage where
individuals are capable of making surprising decisions. Relief can come for
many a circumstance where we have been unsure. A point of choice can affect
relations that are not working together. It is fate that brings relationship
together or breaks it apart. Health continues positive; but if it gets
changeable protect the body from draft. Otherwise it will be good to warm our
bones. Sleep may be disturbed or be saturated with dreams. Wherever the mind
takes us we need to go. There are some good strategies for investment recovery
available. Strategical moves secure solid growth.
The
impulse is to repair, restore or rebuild and improve. Not everyone agrees with
the principle and we experience resistance and opposition. We can run into
people who have been threatened by our actions or suspicious of our methods and
motives while we remain innocent. The appearance of power can provoke
conflict. We are witness to the
assumptions of others. Authority will put everyone under tight scrutiny. Be
prepared to re-examine or rethink plans and ideas. Legal conflicts can arise,
avoid neighbourhoods of high crime. Stay clear of questionable people. The
ground can shake, or we simply have loose footing and need to quickstep.
It
is time to come clean and stop being inappropriate which makes us want to blaze
our own trail. People are fanatical about having enough of their own space.
Strong individuality and intuition in relationship takes a combination of
universal types. We want to shake off our shadow stuff. Relationships formed at
this time are likely to be more open with each partner doing their own thing
and going their own way.
Trying
to maintain the status quo would be met with insomnia, restlessness, tossing
and turning, nervous disorders and eye popping stress. A shift in frequencies
can create anxiety. If couples are mutually supportive of each other's
expansion of awareness and expression of ideals they can share alternate
dimensions. Independent excursions and experiences will transcend time. Sharing
individual insights keeps relationship exciting and ever growing. Conformists,
however, would find this a bit odd.
3RD We
have energy in abundance but it is not as overwhelming as it has been in the
recent past. We can work with it and enjoy good luck. Using common sense and
hard work mixed with more courage and enthusiasm we make progress. The choices
have been lessened which helps too. There is an argument for speculation that
is not reckless. Expectations are modified as well. We do not expect anyone
else to do it for us, we rely on ourselves. We are pushing the boundaries of
our opposition or block and choosing to make up our own mind rather than be
influenced by others. This is a somewhat controversial influence that can be
put to good use. It is a good time for sports and physical activity. Legalities
can be resolved.
We are driven to sift through the
contents of our subconscious for answers. Strong transformative energies create
highly charged energy levels. We have profound dreams, visions, meditations and
inspirations. Our intense vibrational atmosphere is cleansing, purging and
renewing. We take a psychological breather for self-therapeutic analysis to
scrutinise the ego and the state of our empowerment. Ambitiousness,
competitiveness, power struggles, conflict and other lower vibrational
confrontation are a test of our strength and credibility. Violent energies come
from ruthless, corrupt or dangerous people so avoid such neighbourhoods and
detour if you run into road rage. People who have been abused can make
breakthroughs with their self-development.
4TH Problems
involving guilt or shame arise from traditional religious teachings or within
their organisations. There is some confusion, disillusionment or feelings of
being deceived when it comes to what the truth really is. We are willing to
look beyond limited labels but a paradox exists within us that will interfere
with their integration. We are cleaning out the psyche and sorting out our
confusions so we can realise our full potential. For a lot of people this can
centre on sexuality. Unity is disconnected and we become incompatible with
certain aspects of our life. We sense and intuit where we belong. This is the
path that ultimately leads to enlightenment because we have fewer barriers. But
while we are in this phase we are out of accord nonetheless the path leads us
to growth and expansion.
There
is great capacity for loyalty, longevity and commitment in relationship. We can
build structures of lasting value between ourselves and others. It is fortunate
to develop business partnerships or joint endeavours for financial gain. We
seek safety and security and are drawn to responsible, serious, mature types.
Career and social standing can become important for some. We work on expressing
our values through our goals while creating lasting and satisfying liaisons.
Commitment and steady solid growth can come out of negotiations or bonding that
occurs now.
6TH BALSAMIC MOON This is not as calm as most renewal phases are. There is some stressful
tension causing us to dither and lose touch with ourselves. Grounding will help
tremendously. The influx of emotional stress can be remedied by increasing the
intake of magnesium or by adding St John's Wort, Lecithin or Omega 3 to your
supplements. Seek to be free and liberated from internal blockages. Friends are
more demanding than restful but that can turn into an enjoyable gathering. It
is good to take a break from normal routine and spend quality time with others.
Romance is in the budding stage where sexual tension builds. Children are
tempted to do the darndest things and mothers tend to think the worst. Destiny
must take its course and we cannot judge what lessons our children need to
learn. We cannot put our trust in ways we have in the past but survivalist
thinking helps us to construct as we go.
VENUS ENTERS LIBRA Let
the social events begin in earnest! The creativity of feminine energy comes
into form. We reconnect through art, music, dance or design and the harmonious
vibrations of nature's beauty. Interacting with others, teamwork, compromising
and joining in comes to us more naturally. We are drawn to socialise, to hold
or attend gatherings and to want to enjoy the comforts of close relations.
Encouraged to be more friendly and outgoing, we seek others to have fun and we will
not like to be alone. As Libran energies can be quite dramatic there is a
filibuster waiting to happen somewhere! The elegant and pristine will attract
our attention. We are not as inclined toward work or getting dirty as we are
discovering creative or artistic talents.
7TH We
are on a journey of healing and awakening and are attracting what we need even
though it is perplexing. The effort is productive of much growth and expansion,
but will require continuous adjustments and revisions because we are
transforming our blocked energy. Most likely our blossoming beliefs will be
incompatible to our traditional values and not wholly supported or acknowledged
by those close to us. Disparate beliefs are frustrating and their resolution is
less than satisfactory at this point. We are untangling past life patterns in
order to realise a major shift of transformation.
8TH We
are less speculative and more security conscious so we form partnerships or
sign contracts with others that will grow and benefit. There is a balanced base
of power in agreements. There are fewer distractions so the advantages and
opportunities are more obvious. We find common ground in our significant
relationship. We are strengthened by our faith in others. Our inner spectrum
grows and expands. A journey started now and shared with another will be
expansive and educational. Couples who find each other share interests in
travel, education or mystical experience. Faith based belief systems provide
positive upliftment. Legal issues can be settled out of court.
CERES DIRECT It is time to take care
of our babies. These are not necessarily just our children; they can be our
clients; students, our works of art, athletes and other products of our caring
attention. Being reconnected to a web of loving life we shed the connections to
others that do not resonate with our vibration. We are once again able to
express a loving nurturing and less conditional expression of caring. But we
are much more aware of what we do not want. We express concern with less
dependency and attachment. Aware of our real needs and how to love ourselves we
can now turn our attentions to others but we must uphold our recent resolutions
to take care of ourselves. Concerns with food; digestion, feeling protected or
taken care of are more straightforward. We feel more resolved about Mother or
childhood issues.
VESTA ENTERS LIBRA With this air sign, Vesta's focus is drawn to the
social or artistic side of life and partnership matters. We prefer to work with
others in this sign, we like the input from other people for comparison purposes.
Achieving a sensible balance between personal preferences and the preferences
of others is vital with all the combined energies of Saturn, Mars, Venus and
Vesta in Libra. Exchange needs to be equal and reciprocal as we are too prone
to acquiescing to keep the peace. This is a competitive influence and with
Vesta it can manifest in the workplace.
9TH The
polarised dichotomy within can be in our face brutal. We can be fanatical and
over-zealous in our attempt to convert either our own or another's thinking. We
need to be honest, come clean or do not get involved at all. Whatever the core
issue, we are facing off with the need for unhampered freedom from this aspect
of self or of another. Needs run contrary to ideals and beliefs but free
individual expression wins out. It is very advisable to find a working
compromise. Rather than recognise our need to align ourselves this energy can
be projected into an oppositional relationship. It can create much tension,
anxiety or other nervous disorders. Sexuality could be a factor. But most
importantly with this we can get unstuck.
NEW MOON We
are in a good position at the start of this lunar month. We are moving out of
the "self" occupation and gracefully embracing the balancing points of our "we"
reality. Personal issues are in order enough to proceed with integration and
common goals. It is almost thrust upon us anyway but it is the direction we are
meant to go. Conditional expectations can now be tested in the melee of life.
The rarity of our personal perspective is tried on others to see if one size
fits all. We are following the notions of constructive effort we have gathered.
There may be shifts in the market allowing for investment or asset recovery. We
have not yet reached the tipping point so make haste while it is possible. Once
Mercury hits Libra at the beginning of October there can be wild swings once
again and some losses.
13TH CRESCENT MOON We are developing serious promises or potentials. There is a lot of
energy around speculation and investment. It may be a good time to make changes
to the portfolio to secure investments. Many are uncertain about where
government programs and policies are going to be in the future so these doubts
are translating into restructuring. Positive potentials can be developed but
remember this is to secure investment not to speculate on future profits. Our
judgement is acute and conditional. We demand more from others than we would
normally. We are not satisfied with face value and want to dig for more
information. The summer continues to be active and entertaining. Gatherings are
not predictable but specialised as they turn out. We group together with people
who resonate with us and are not inclined to attend otherwise. Many are content
with good times at home.
Seeking
mastery is a high ambition. We are drawn to being a role model for others on
the same path. Gravitating toward the most sacred of authority we let that take
the lead in our beliefs. We become very committed, practical and responsible in
our expression; willing to devote time and dedication. Strict limits can be
adhered to for the right reasons.
URANUS ENTERS PISCES This spiritual awakening
has been with us for some time; since March of 2003. This sign works on the
deepest level of the collective unconscious which has an effect on the individual
subconscious. Scientific
discoveries regarding the power of faith, prayer or meditation in healing have
made great strides forward. We once again get an opportunity to recover lost

transformation of society is destined to occur. A further breakdown of
society's old structure will feel like it is happening to us rather than for
us. There will be stress and conflict possibly issues or abuse with power on a
mass scale. We cannot rule out earthquake or volcanic activity. However,
psychologically, each individual will in turn open doors in search of deeper
truth. It is form versus substance; traditions fail so we seek deep, mystical
experience and regeneration. Dreams, visions, meditations and inspirations will
link us to what we need to resonate with. Problems with obsession or addiction

16TH FIRST QUARTER MOON The Moon in Scorpio is squaring off with the Sun in Leo. We are no
doubt confused, doubtful, worried and concerned about all manner of things. The
demands on our mind's attention are intense and we need to attend to all of
them in the most positive sense. Fateful encounters with other people promote
new starts that arise out of the ashes of old failures. When we are unsure
about ourselves while simultaneously intensely focused on other things we can
lose our way. Money is changing hands but there is not as much potential to
