The SUN is in Aries till April 20^th when it enters Taurus.

MERCURY is in Aries until April 2^nd when it enters Taurus.

VENUS is in Aries until March 31^st when it enters Taurus.

MARS turned direct March 10^th going back over things but entering new territory come the 16-17-18^th of May and Mars will stay in Leo until June 6^th, 2010.

JUNO is in Taurus until April 17^th when it will enter Gemini.

CERES is in Sagittarius until March 19^th, 2010 when it will enter Capricorn.

PALLAS ATHENA is in Scorpio where it will stay for most of 2010. It turned retrograde March 10^th, will reach the midpoint of the retrograde on May 3^rd, and turn direct June 24^th. Not until mid-September will Pallas be energising new terrain. Pallas Athena enters Sagittarius October 7^th 2010.

VESTA is in Virgo. Jan 3^rd, 2010 it turns retrograde and goes back into Leo February 15^th. February 17^th Vesta reaches the midpoint of the retrograde which brings some relief. Turning direct April 6^th Vesta re-enters Virgo May 26^th. Until Vesta has returned to the degree of the zodiac on which it retrograded we are dealing with old issues. It will cross the threshold onto new territory June 16.

JUPITER entered Pisces January 17^th, 2010 where it will transit until January 22^nd, 2011. The annual retrograde will occur July to November 2010.

SATURN is in Libra until April 7^th 2010 when it retrogrades back into Virgo. The midpoint of the Retrograde is reached March 21^st. Saturn turns direct May 30^th and re-enters Libra July 21^st.

CHIRON is in Aquarius until April 20, 2010 when Chiron enters Pisces but it will regress back into Aquarius July 20^th. The retrograde is from June to November 2010. It fully enters Pisces February 3^rd, 2011 and Chiron will move onto Aries April 19 2018 but regress back into Pisces Sep 27 2018 and not fully enter the start of the zodiac until Feb 19 2019.

URANUSis in Pisces until May 28^th, 2010 when it enters Aries. Although a retrograde July to December causes it to retreat back into Pisces August 13^th 2010 it will finally enter Aries March 12^th 2011. The midpoint of the retrograde will be reached August 21^st 2010. Uranus turns direct December 5^th 2010.

NEPTUNE is in Aquarius all year. Neptune retrogrades June to September 2010. The midpoint of the retrograde is reached August 20^th. Neptune turns direct November 6^th. It enters Pisces February 3^rd, 2012.

PLUTO is in its second year of a sixteen year transit of Capricorn. Pluto retrogrades April to September in 2010. The midpoint of the retrograde occurs June 25^th. Pluto turns direct on
September 13^th, 2010.

20^TH HAPPY SPRING EQUINOX ~ THE SEASONAL NEW YEAR

SUN ENTERS ARIES We have been waiting for this all winter with Mars in Retrograde. It is the boost we need. In Aries, the Sun makes us enthusiastic and spontaneous. We feel inspired to impulsive initiation and are more indomitable because we are motivated by the desire to conquer. So many projects get started but many may not finish. We enjoy the thrill of competition, accept a challenge and engage with child-like abandon and invincibility. We plough headfirst into obstacles and plans with a blind fury and passion until the thrill wears off. Like Aries we are able to bounce back quickly with little shame because the brave and pioneering attributes of this sign are somewhat innocent. We appreciate honesty and truth and hate deceit. A weakness would be this field reduces sensitivity and limits emotionalism. It is more candid, blunt, emphatic and concerned with winning. We will be interested in self-assertion and pursuing goals. It is time to make an impression, stir up some action, and take on the world.

22^NDWith enthusiasm and optimism we can be inclined to do something entirely opposite to our nature to fulfil our curiosity, quest, exploration or synchronise with spontaneous growth. Harmonious energies flow between partners, or flow out of us if we are seeking committed relationship. Higher education, cultural enhancement, travel or philosophical development can become a major dedication. Relationships are improved by a better balance of power that is mutually supportive. A meeting of the minds scenario or mystical experience produces a better attitude.

In certain situations we have been analyzing past actions, consequences of choices and trying to decide whether we can save the circumstances or if they are untenable. Now we are focused on the support system aspect of our life; also getting to the core of responsibility, boundary or limitation. We are in fact turning ourselves inside out to reassess our strategies and methodologies. Seeking a sense of our own authority we renegotiate or disengage by learning from the experience. If our support system is weak it will falter so we need to be careful where we lean. Use caution operating machinery, working with sharp objects or things made of metal and try not to jab other people with words either. If internal combustion is too high we need to find a physical outlet to keep our energy clean and clear.

23^RD FIRST QUARTER MOON The Sun is in Aries trumpeting Spring and the Moon has reached the critical turning in the spherical journey and can be found in the sign of Summer which is Cancer. The emphasis is on mental acuity and manual dexterity meaning much to think about and lots to take care of in the daily administration of life. Communications can be received from those at a distance or from very old friends. This helps to bridge the gap of the distance. A lot of money can change hands in a bit of a buying frenzy, and impulse purchases are epidemic. Friends and relationships are comfortable and passionate. Intense dreams, profound conscious thought and meditative holograms have intention at their core. Destiny draws the sacred to us.

Deconditioning the socialisation of family or the imprinting of old response patterns has nothing to do with loyalty. It is not an either-or scenario either. Conditions that have to be met in order to receive love are renegotiable. Living with untenable strictures leads to internal dissatisfaction that will come out somehow. If we do not actively engage in the deconditioning then the change comes in a form we cannot help. Sometimes it is our health that suffers from this repression of equality. Other times this tension leads to accident, incident or happenstance. It leaks out if we do not address misappropriations or try to live in a way untrue to us. Emotional and psychological problems get locked in. Instead of fixing ourselves we blame others, or the messenger. Synthesis, assimilation, blending, fusing; these are all good words for the morphing of our family stereo types.

24^TH We are reworking our relationship agreements to provide for more mutual support. Frustrations can be worked out because we have a better idea of how to approach the matter. Responsibilities and career obligations come under scrutiny as well. Credibility can be a weak point but it is merely our perception that is in need of bolstering. Financial security poses many questions and strategies with the changing economic trends. Co-dependencies can be obvious if we are self-aware. Patriarchal antiquation could not come soon enough; there will be evidence of its existence. Contractual agreements are in danger of breaking down; renegotiation is imminent. Old fears and insecurities and other limitations in our belief system can be let go.

Our needs are stronger than our requirement to fulfil our responsibilities especially if we have not been caring enough for ourselves. We are, after all, responsible for ourselves in every way, including not paying enough attention. Even with our children we can be reconsidering what would be best for their individuality rather than officiating what is expected from them. Fear of loss can arise suddenly, a sense of distancing or pulling away may occur temporarily. Divorced or separated parents are inclined to create a dichotomy for their children. Whatever has occurred in the past with regard to family, children, spouse and parents will surface, be accountable. This may feel very unfair, but it will help us to reach an accord of even-handedness.

26^TH GIBBOUS MOON The Moon has been slowly pulling away from the Sun in Aries and is now growing to a disk in the sky. With the Moon in Leo there is fire sign symmetry between the lights of our solar system. It is important to be true to the self, to muster one's own authority and to put the needs of the self first so we will have what it takes to help when others need it. There is a high degree of excitability and anxiety as news from around the world continues to command attention. Magnetic attraction is growing stronger; we are drawn to whatever is in league with our own electrical current or life force. As this builds to maximum effectiveness we will increasingly believe in déjà veu. We will feel that we know the new people we meet; maybe from a past life or be aware of their similarity to people we have known in this life. We are drawn to what seems to be fated circumstances. At least we will feel that destiny is operating in the tide of events that sweeps us along. We need to keep centred in our true essence; this is when knowing ourselves pays off. We can steer through to the positive by surpassing the negative.

29^TH FULL MOON Last Full Moon I sat outside listening to the frogs croaking down at Swan Lake. I could not believe my ears, but it was unmistakably frogs. So I am looking forward to what will come to life with this one. The Sun is in Aries and the Moon in Libra. The fullness of Moon comes at sunset/moonrise; how is that for symbology as far as illuminating what we need to detach from to be what we want to be and have the relationships that fulfil us. Letting go has been a theme lately and many will be curious what it means for them. It can be anything simple to complex as we are all different. The good thing is the cosmos keeps giving us the opportunities to make these shifts.

Most people will not readily want to "let go" or may even argue or ridicule the point with great resistance. The issues we need to let go of are so deeply engraved into our soul we are too comfortable with them. All manner of justification and rationalisation will attempt to block the ability to purge. In the alchemical sense we are being asked to let go of our "lead" so we can refine our "gold" Go for the gold so to speak! Eventually, when we do not identify these things on our own then life takes over and things happen "to" us forcing our hand; taking what needs to be let go. We need to build our life force, fix our patterns, transfigure, use new methodology and create a well grounded self-structured wholesome self-awareness. So to start with we need to let go of things that will not let us be ourselves.

31^ST VENUS ENTERS TAURUS Between now and April 24^th is a good time to schedule a day at the spa and pamper ourselves with a massage, facial, body wrap or ozone steam treatment. We can really spend money with Venus in Taurus. Retail therapy could never be better. As well as pampering the body, we are attracted to food and clothing, going to favourite places, creating cosy situations and staying away from fast-paced high-energy situations. Beautification is definitely the theme and it can be in the garden or home too. We want to give ourselves gifts and give others the hugs we need. If we need to feel loved we better lock up the wallet. Choose aesthetic surroundings, romantic settings, simple and natural outings in nature and opening our hearts. We seek solid comfortable relations so romantic courtships that start now have a chance to build trust and loyalty into a predictable and dependable relationship. This is a good time to appreciate our body and sensuality with higher self-esteem.

If there is any intensity, stress and over-forcefulness currently they are symptoms of the transformative process that is affecting our global and individual reality. The disorder is because of the vast accumulation of required shifts. Confronting our challenges, making the right choices and getting ourselves established in an interfunctional way is the dominating trend. We are focused on our self-expression and any problems or growth needed there.

In some isolated circumstances conflicts within social or relationship sectors and the power struggles they incur can lead to domination or destruction. We can expect a violent reaction from those who do not want to let go or do not want to advance in detaching from their obsessive conditional demands. Disturbing emotions like jealousy, suspicion, greed, attachment, hostility, anger, envy, competitiveness, arrogance, resentment, possessiveness and self-pity lead to the destructive behaviour evidenced now.

So the introspection, questioning and analysis that results will be the creative transfiguring process. Inappropriate attractions to members of the opposite sex will reveal themselves as they end up being overpowering. We should make an effort to gravitate towards those with whom we share mutual trust. Forgive ourselves and others if a critical maximum is reached. We all just want to fulfill our capacity or transform personal power, attitudes and gender roles in the flow of social reform.

1^ST We are rethinking our viewpoints as we are challenged by life to attend to our self-development. But we are also battling a backlog of duties, errands, jobs and chores. There is progress but we feel our dilemma so imperatively that it is hard to harmonise the heart and the head. To accommodate would be to sell ourselves short. Trying to fit in where we do not belong should immediately deflect us. With no black and white answers, no absolutes, the tension of working out what to believe and hold in store will strengthen us. Blocks in our intellect or creative expression will become clear so we can figure out what to do about them. Politics will take their people through reform because it is strategically in their best interests. Issues can arise between intellectual or spiritual belief, or between career and home. The resolution is found in manifesting our vision.

2^ND DISSEMINATING MOON The Moon is rounding the turn back towards the Sun and its light is on the wane. From Scorpio the angular relationship to the Sun in Aries is faltering in its tenacity. But the impetus still pushes and compels without hesitation which can mean making mistakes. We go farther than we can sustain, although at another time we might have more endurance. We feel stronger than we are and should let our energies build before putting them to use. At the same time there is a vein of pulsating get-up-and-go that is stirring up restless anxiety and unsettling urges. There is no mistake that depressive or fearful inclinations are undermining our innermost sense of wholeness. Remember that how we view things creates our reality. The mind can self-destruct if allowed to lose touch with a core of groundedness that keeps imagination from following these pathways. This phase may disperse or fragment if we do not try to contain ourselves.

MERCURY ENTERS TAURUS Slow careful conversations enable us to consider alternatives without ever losing sight of fundamental values and underlying practical issues. Attribute the pauses in conversation to the influence of this sign as it likes to think things through before acting. We need this right now. The time people take over things is not laziness or procrastination; it is for the purposes of fine finishing. Where Aries is inclined to barge ahead; Taurus will slow us down and get us rooted in order to attend to the practical matters already developed. We need to pull on this earth sign to help us ground our plan of action to bring it down to earth in a practical tangible form. Formulate what is of value. Make a list of priorities so we can build a road map that leads to our destination. This will help us from going helter skelter. Taurus offers a rich source of values and commitment that can provide resources to carry thoughts from conception to birth.

We are adjusting our polarities, balancing our yin and yang but in the process need to iron out the conflict between them. We need more than ever to be true to ourselves with this self-directed atmosphere. In fact we will examine all else to see if it is respectful or supportive of the das Ich or subjective sense of self.We do battle if there is any stress or conflict between people and interests. This is our non-creative self that will give into the discordant flaunt. To understand being creative; it means choosing to do otherwise. Try to do this self-preservation respectfully. Incorporate the potential for others to be interrogating our values as we are theirs. For those who usually accommodate and compromise this field of inclination is a help. For those who are headstrong and single-minded it brings these issues to the surface to be worked out.

Relationship is continuing to take a beating and not too many inappropriate ones can survive this pummelling. Whatever we hold most high can also be at issue with this operating climate. We are keeping score. Wherever there is a tempest of intense contradiction; disturbing behaviours are probable. People are pushing and pulling each other with non-committal, unreliable or erratic behaviour. Strife chokes the airwaves. So what do we need to do? Put old issues to rest, experiment, restore compassion and mitigate the path of least resistance to let things slide. But if we compromise ourselves our integrity is devalued a little more. So it is a fine line we walk to consider another's humanity when our soundness of body, mind and soul are in question.

4^TH HAPPY EASTER!

6^TH LAST QUARTER MOON The Moon in Capricorn is moving toward the Sun in Aries, coming up from behind. This can be considered the breaking down phase but in this case whatever would disintegrate would do so in order to allow for what was meant to be. There is no question about getting on a new path. We are more robust, forthright and ready to embrace or tolerate change if needs be. Fortunate endings let go of conditions that were disallowing abundance, optimism and beneficial blessings. For the faithful there is great belief in allowing life to unfold as it will and accepting the manifestation of what will be as providence. Competition and ambition is put aside to allow for rebirth, resuscitation, renewal or regeneration. We will know where our plan is faulty so we can come up with better ideas.

VESTA DIRECT Just in the nick of time our intense semester of inner self-development comes to a close. We have been focused inwardly long enough. Having re-evaluated our self-value we can act more true to our centre point of being. We can bring all things to be at one with our deepest essence of self, our integrity. A powerfully quiet but evermore present alignment of self can be applied. In being ourselves we gain from the acknowledgment we receive from the outside world. We apply ourselves to get on with doing as close to what we are meant to do with this planet as we have acquired knowledge for. We are working with energy rather than experiencing the energy working on us.

PLUTO RETROGRADE This is a good retrograde because the back-against-the-wall ultimatum pressure will ease off so we can sift through subconscious information to be ready to face our metamorphic change. We can have some remarkable dreams, visions, meditations and inspirations that will link us to what we need to resonate with. The first conscious thoughts in the morning and other reliable inner dialogue are the answers that map the way. We have a psychological breather so we can make a plan of action to move forward. We have to gather the fortitude we need to make the choices we do not want to make before we are forced to do what we think we cannot. To avoid having things happen "to" us we need to do what is meant to be. Transform and grow now rather than be dragged kicking and screaming to the changes that are really for our own benefit and health of well being.

7^TH SATURN RETROGRADE REGRESSES BACK INTO VIRGOVirgo, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces, the mutable signs, be aware that Saturn is going to revisit these signs briefly. It was not long ago that there was relief from this weight and severity as the baton got passed to the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. The cardinal signs, or any one with planets in these signs, got a taste of what is to come for the next couple of years. The introductory experience occurred between mid-January and the first week of April. Just think back over what came up during that time in order to know what our karmic friend has in mind. But for now, the Mutable signs are revisiting this old friend until July. The cardinal signs have a chance to prepare and the mutable signs can complete this round of their karmic work.

The theme over the past couple of years has been to restructure. Health issues of importance to structure are teeth, bones and skin so these are things to attend to. Future planning will address the final refinement phase of a restructuring of our lifestyle and goal-orientation. Good work has been done to remove the obstacles and challenges that have besieged and limited or frustrated. Feeling burdened constrained and imprisoned or lonely has forced change and now the remnants of that refashioning of responsibility and duty are left to be completed. The important things from the past have been unearthed to bring more of an air of permanence and resolution.

The deeper spiritual purpose Saturn provides is the ability to face reality on its own terms without attempting to escape into delusion and fancy. Such virtues as patience, dependability, long suffering, endurance, strength in the face of adversity, the ability to carefully and methodically handle real-life difficulties, and the development of true individuality are built into the personality when we successfully meet Saturn's challenges. These are our rewards as well as tools for passing the tests of Saturn. Cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, heed these messages well; learn from mutable friends, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces, what the past couple of years have required of them to reach this place of well earned reward.

8^TH We have to take a stand that is against the tide. It feels like we are walking on shifting sands. People are not into pleasing each other. It would be deep unconscious blockages that would keep us in an irresolute state. Old strategies are not working and there are no absolutes. It is advisable that where these circumstances exist we cannot define the terms right now. It is important to release all negative aspects that dominate our thinking and open our hearts. If something does not fit, do not force it, accommodate it or compromise for it. We need to own our own power or identify where we give it away and struggle with others. The old is meant to give way or be transformed for the new. We have to make some difficult decisions but this is an important threshold.

10^TH BALSAMIC MOON The prophetic phase of the Moon is enhanced by its position in Pisces coming up on the Sun in Aries. The magic of replenishment comes of this angle between the lights. In the stillness that is available we can find ourselves, gain inspiration, plan future growth and foresee the benefits of transition. But we can also be swept along on the tide of enthusiasm and miss the opportunity. Following our bliss, however, is a serendipitous way of divining the future. So whether we meditate or retreat; explore or have adventure we will run into some element of fate that gives us a solid perception of what goals are of priority, or what is important to us to accomplish. It is worth paying attention to the pathways we are drawn towards as they are the ascending stepping stones to achievement.

There is less pressure; therefore, we can be more reflective and effective with our financial arrangements. The guilt or stress of finances, duties, obligations, expectations or other demands can be examined to establish better priorities. We also realize the importance of time and want to manage our time efficiently so we will spend time detecting or deducing ways to be more austere and resourceful. Wherever anxiety arises it is a signal of what needs work to eliminate the fretfulness. Do not self-destruct or deplete energy stores with useless displays of dramatic theatrics. Conserve for well-being and get proper rest and nutrition as well as exercise to regenerate the system. Irritation is a sign that something is bothering us and we will be working on it.

11^TH We are well on the road to actualising our truth as started mid-November 2009. Whether it is faith in ourselves, in society or in some higher power we are developing and enriching what we believe. Cultural differences become more sophisticated in their mutual understanding. Negotiations or strategies between international powers or wherever there is political strife can make progress. Likewise each individual can negotiate better terms of agreement in their lives. We are philosophical, in good humour and easily inspired when we can grasp the implications of the larger social issues affecting us individually. Some feel downtrodden and defeated, the disparity growing larger. But charity and good will is on the increase too. We are learning rapidly and teaching unintentionally, it is just in the airwaves that we must learn. Whether we want to improve our lifestyle or fight for justice this influence will assist.

12^TH What do we need to control or organise and why? These are the questions to ask. We ponder the origins of our rigidities and insecurities and our patterns of routine feeling the need to renovate them. Become aware of dysfunctions, dichotomies, paradoxes and fractured aspects of self. Order is breaking down where it must and this will lead to creative growth. We are stretched to breakthrough our limitations and boundaries. The disruption of the status quo and the uniqueness of the trends with our current generation help us to separate ourselves from psychological inheritance and ancestral patterns. These energies work on the shackles of patriarchy, tyranny or corrupt authority so humanity can be released from those paradigms.

13^TH The dawning of enlightenment presents us with the results of our awkward infancy. In this fragile emergence we need to take extra care of our health, it is normal to feel fatigued and drowsy. Psychic sensitivity is heightened so we receive much more information than we are used to processing. {Something I have recently purchased I can recommend wearing on a daily basis. The Quantum Pendant please see the web site in the links.} The energies of enlightenment are subtle but they bring new kinds of ideas and consciousness at the molecular level. What we take in will bring insight. But some can be irresistibly drawn to the desire to escape. There are many ways to do this; alcohol, fantasy, daydreaming, travel; reading, watching television, magical or mystical drugs and other altered states.

14^TH Creative projects can get a boost of inspiration and wilful application. Spiritual development or artistic training will validate that side of us. We can seek escape if we do not want to face the difficult dilemmas our needs create. The reality of relationship in most probably each and every case will not live up to the ideal. If we accept that our expectations create our disappointments then we will know that it is our definition of relationship that is unrealistic. But in other cases real deception can create a dilemma. Weak willed, poetic or artistic types or ill people can lead us to a sacrifice. The self-centred victim consciousness is inappropriate. Awareness or disillusionment is the choice we have to make. The infinite does not exist in another human being; we are all flawed and a work in progress. We all have our differences.

But we also have some extremely transformational, universalising and revolutionising vibrations so what better co-creation can we have to change our relationship dynamic. By integrating individuality and freedom into the fabric of our partnerships we can be mutually supportive and expansive. 19^TH CHIRON ENTERS PISCES Between April 19^th and July 19^th Chiron will slip into Pisces temporarily. As with all outer planets sometimes this is a preparation period.
