 I hope you saw the coverage on television and in the newspaper, and heard on the radio, about Trident United Way's latest initiative that brings together local health care providers in an unprecedented collaboration. Called AccessHealth, it is designed to create a system of care for uninsured people that streamlines their care, improves their health outcomes and saves us all money.
The Post and Courier calls it "health care reform that both liberals and conservatives can embrace." The collaboration has attracted a $750,000 Duke Endowment grant and is getting underway as you read this.
