Trident United Way has begun convening community health leaders to discuss a collaborative effort focused on improving the health of people in the Lowcountry.
The aim is to develop a seamless system that improves health care access and affordability for people who currently have difficulty getting health care.

Income Help With the Housing Crunch

For the last two decades, people having trouble paying their mortgages could turn to Trident United Way's HUD Housing Counselor for information, advocacy and help with reverse mortgages and foreclosure avoidance.
In the last six months, just five of the 126 families in danger of losing their homes actually went into foreclosure.

Fundraising Campaign Off To Great Start

Our annual fundraising kicks off on Sept. 11, but already two "pacesetter" campaigns have reported in great results.
Johnson & Johnson raised over $200,000, an amazing increase of 60%. Five of their employees have joined the national Tocqueville Society with gifts of $10,000. Trident United Way staff also pledged more than $40,000, nearly $1,000 per capita.
