Disaster Training Prepares 2-1-1 Hotline for Hurricanes
For Info During Hurricanes, Dial 2-1-1
|
To mark the beginning of hurricane season, 2-1-1 staff members participated in a hurricane drill on June 2nd to prepare them for a weather emergency.
During a hurricane, 2-1-1 Hotline would move to the Emergency Operations Center where they can provide the most current information to callers. In any emergency, 2-1-1 Hotline would also manage the coordination of unaffiliated
volunteers.
