Volunteer with a clinical team to respond to the growing women's health crisis in Haiti.  COHI is an international organization dedicated to improving the health of the world's women, with a focus on serving women living in areas of crisis, disaster and war.  We recognize that women's unique health care needs are often ignored during emergencies, and COHI specializes in filling this gap, providing badly needed health care services in times of crisis.  We are currently planning our response to the grim situation facing women in Haiti, and we anticipate sending a team of about five people.  We are grateful to have already received so many positive responses and applications, and we would love to hear from you! For information on our work in Haiti, see http://www.cohintl.org/02projects/ht/index.php.   COHI field workers are often required to respond immediately and creatively to life or death emergencies and must be comfortable in this rapidly changing, often stressful environment.
