Let's Do 2010 Aaaaalll Craaaazy!
 But "crazy" in a good way, not crazy like having 13 mistresses, crashing someone's award acceptance speech, booing the President of the United States, or staying home next Wednesday while The Harvest is in full effect! 'Cause THAT would be bad crazy!
Good crazy is choosing to make 2010 the year that you go all in on your goals, your life changes and helping us continue to have one of the best open mic experiences in the city! We can only do that with YOU front and center at World Cafe Live Wednesday, January 6th!

The Harvest LOVES Musicians! If you are a musician feel free to bring your guitar, bass, drums, congas, fiddle, trombone or set of spoons and get your jam on with fellow musicians and/or poets and vocalists! The stage is open for musicians at The Harvest!

POETS 4 PEACE FEED PHILLY'S HOMELESS
 Local Philly poets got together to make sure that those less fortunate, without a place to go, had food. Poets put together bag lunches and distributed them through downtown Philly.

Ok so most New Year's Resolutions are made to be broken, usually within the first 3 months of making them. But SS215 is convinced that 2010 is the year EVERYONE should GTFIATFC!! (If you don't know that means, add that to your list of things to ask a seasoned Harvester at the next Harvest). So here are a few SS215 Resolutions that we have absolutely no intention of breaking! |
- GIVING BACK to the community...
Part of the purpose of having a "harvest" is  to share the abundance. Spoken Soul 215 and our partners will continue to donate portions of the proceeds of our event to a good cause, collect donations for non-profit organizations, volunteer and help those who need it.
If you would like to join us, make you sure you sign up for our email list and get updates about how you can help! If you have an organization or event that you would like SS215 to support please send information and requests to spokensoul215@gmail.com.
- JUST DOING IT!...
 Every year we hear folks make the same proclamation that THIS year is THE year! In attempt to keep our word, SS215 is leading the movement that 2010 be the year that we stop saying what it's going to be, drop the excuses, procrastination and pick up the action!
Seriously, the time is now, the world needs our gifts right now. In case you need a little push, may we suggest a good book Bullsh*t or Fertilizer: Tough Love for Artists on the Fence, small but mighty, keep it in your bag, read it and get to it people!! So now when we say GTFI you say ATFC...and mean it!
- COUNTING OUR BLESSINGS
There is no better guarantee of future abundance than to recognize and show gratitude for the abundance that already is. Even if this was a hard year for you, SS215 met our own challenges as well, but we've never been more grateful for each lesson, each challenge. We have become more like family than just fellow artists, and we have been most blessed for meeting and being blessed by each one of you!
Help us keep our resolution by continuing to join us, spread the word, share your gifts and encourage others to reap the goodness of their own personal gardens.
