Is it the first Wednesday of the month yet?!
 Am I the only one that gets excited the closer it gets to the next Harvest event? Go on and admit it! You leave work on Wednesday faking a hacking cough so it won't be so obvious when you call out Thursday morning after fun, fun and more fun at The Harvest! Don't worry we won't tell!
Meanwhile, Spoken Soul 215 is getting quite comfy in our new locale at 40th and Walnut with the plush seating-surround sound-elevated stage-two bar throw down! ...So tell 3 more friends and come out to this month's music meets poetry meets the best talent in Philly event!
Last month's recap: Maybe it was the  new atmosphere, or it was the hundreds-some folks that came to the spot, it could have been the great open bar or even the fire performers brought to the mic...actually it was all of the above! Especially some WOW moments on the mic that included MJ duet tap dancing, clever haikus, philly youth poets, guitar-strumming feature and a deep poem about giving er...um...well, you had to be there! eh hem...Not to mention DJ Maggie thUMP made us miss MJ even more...so much that we collectively wore white glitter gloves (actually a tool glove via Home Depot...but hey same same) and broke out in our most fave Thriller dance moves sans self-grabs but with plenty of "he he's" and "shuh mons!"

I mean you could come solo and still be as fly as a swatter...buuut coming with friends guarantees the fun will be maximized times two and the ticket price cut by $2!...Saving money is cool, hanging with friends at a great event is even cooler!
It feels a little something like the VIP section at a swanky club and winning the lottery but with a little more accessibility and a lot less restrictions...just get there early and you too have a chance to sit in the infamous "sexy section"...'cause being early is soooo sexy!
Our in-house designer "Mr. DiVirgilio" is making a name for himself in homegrown fashion with our Spoken Soul line of tees. It's the tee that is perfectly OK to be seen in more than once and at the same time as someone else rockin' their "POET" or "SPOKEN SOUL" style...and it only costs $5 to be in the "in" crowd...
Even though there is no such thing as "celebrity" at The Harvest you won't have to fight a SS215 member to stop what they are doing to flash their pearly whites at the nearest camera with their best pose.
