I'm back with a new update after a much needed pause/break in my regularly over-scheduled program.
In the recent month of low-to-no activity I found the importance of slowing down and taking a moment. Such a simple act but so important to us artistic-types and usually-too-busy-to-think folks.
I spent the time reading a wonderful book A New Earth and checking out online classes by Oprah! Anyone caught on to ANE?! Let me know how you like/liked it!
In the meantime, I'm ready to get back into the groove, but this time a whole lot smoother...In this issue: This month I have three great performances that I hope you join me for: The Black Lily Film and Music Fest and the Delta's 6th Annual Poetry Cafe at the historic Freedom Theatre and a benefit performance forthe Black Male Development Symposium!
When you get a chance wish Miss Stephanie Renee aka "Queen Bee of all that is musical" a happy 6th anniversary for Soul Sanctuary Radio, also home to my monthly radio show The Feel Good Flow, now back with new music! We also have our winner from our contest too! I bet you forgot!
Oh! and as always, don't forget to check out my BLOG this month! And in case I don't say it enough: I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to all who have supported my music, poetry, path and potential! Much LOVE!
Happy Reading!
