 World Championship Goose Calling Contest (R)
Young 17 year old Robbie Iverson, of Ottawa, Illinois, ran away with the title of 2009 World Goose Calling Champion! There were nearly 40 callers representing 12 states plus Canada. Round 2 saw the competition narrow to 12 callers: J. Culver, T. Hoover, F. Hudnall, M. Hughes, R. Iverson, K. Jones, T. Shannahan, M. Smothers, E. Strand, G. Wakefield, W. Walling, & J. Walls.
DVD is $20. Add 6% tax if shipping in Maryland or picking up at the office. Shipping & handling cost is $8; if purchasing more than one DVD, S/H will remain $8.

Live Duck Champion, Kent Cullum, of Lake Cormorant, MS and Live Goose Champion, Scott Threinen, of Rochester, MN, have dominated the contests for three years straight !
Once a caller has 3 wins in a contest, they are automatically retired from future competition. Now the field is wide open for the 2010 contests!
The Live Duck & Live Goose DVDs are sold separately, $20 ea.

Mason-Dixon Regional Duck Calling Contest
Jason Howard, of Amagon, Arkansas, traveled all the way to Maryland to compete in one of the last qualifying events for the World Championship Duck Calling Contest held Thanksgiving weekend in Stuttgart, Arkansas. The top 5 callers in the Mason-Dixon were from 5 different states: Arkansas, Colorado, Maryland, Mississippi & North Carolina.

As you may already know, the Calling Contests are only one special part of the Waterfowl Festival. What you may not know is that the Festival is actually a fundraiser. Our mission is to raise funds for waterfowl and habitat conservation. To date the Festival has given over $5.2 million to conservation projects.
Every ticket, DVD, registration, art sale, etc. helps support the Festival's conservation mission.

Mark you calendars for the 2010 Waterfowl Festival Calling Contests: Novermber 12 & 13th
Once every 5 years, the Champion of Champions contest is held and 2010 is the year!!
Only previous World Goose Calling Champions may compete. There are 5 callers who are retired from the World Goose who you could see compete in the Champions of Champions: Tim Covey, Hunter Grounds, Tim Grounds, Keith McGowan & Josh Neuwiller. There are 11 additional Champions who may compete. Previous Champion of Champions are: Sean Mann, Kelley Powers & John Taylor.
