Festival is a-Changin'
This year, we are showing our support for the community and all of you who have demonstrated your support for the Festival over the years by offering everyone the chance to enjoy the Festival at a discount. All tickets will be only $10 - the lowest price since 1992! - and all will be multi-day tickets, good for one, two or all three days at one low price. Take advantage of this opportunity to take your time and experience ALL the Festival has to offer. Plan on bringing your friends, families and relatives for a great weekend at a bargain price.

Big changes are in store for our VIP Donors, too. In lieu of the Sunday Brunch, delectable treats will be served throughout each day at the new exclusive Hospitality Suite location at the historic Inn at 202 Dover. Also, watch for your invitation to The Artful Feast, a tasting tour of the Festival's art exhibits to be held at the Premiere Night Party, for donors only. Not a VIP Donor? Don't miss this great party!

Conservation Grants
Donor contributions, along with proceeds from each Festival, create a pool of funds from which we award conservation grants. Over the past four decades, the Waterfowl Festival has invested more than $5 million to significant projects benefitting wildlife habitat, environmental education and research primarily in the Chesapeake Bay region. Our 2009 Conservation Grants total $92,689 in support of nine projects, including a wetland restoration effort by the Waterfowl Festival itself. We're proud of all we have accomplished over the years by partnering with these and other outstanding organizations, thanks to the generous support of our donors and Festival attendees.

Organizations receiving grants included Chesapeake Wildlife Heritage, Ducks Unlimited, Eastern Shore Land Conservancy, Environmental Concern, Pickering Creek Audubon Center, Talbot County Public Schools, and University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science at Horn Point Laboratory.
