Los Angeles, Calif. (September 6, 2010) -- The Entertainment
Industries Council, Inc. (EIC), the premiere non-profit organization
dedicated to raising awareness of health and social issues, today announced that preeminent entertainment personality
Nancy O'Dell will return as host of the
14th Annual PRISM Awards
Showcase airing September 18, 2010. Ms. O'Dell will assist the EIC in
honoring actors, writers, artists, directors, and producers whose work
accurately portrays mental illness and substance abuse. O'Dell has covered the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, and Golden Globes and has
contributed to both The Today Show
and Dateline. Entertainment news
correspondent Kristina Guerrero (E!
News), actress Ashley Jones (True
Blood and The Bold & the
Beautiful) and TV host Rossi Morreale (Dating
in the Dark) will join as guest co-hosts. A household name for
her 13 years
as host of Access Hollywood, O'Dell
has also contributed to CBS's The Early
Show, The Today Show and Dateline and was recently tapped to host ABC's
2010 Fall Preview special, VH1's 2010 Critic's Choice Awards, and the
2010 Superbowl Fan Jam Concert Special.
She has hosted NBC's The Live Golden
Globes Arrivals Special and The
Tournament of Roses Parade for the past nine years as well as
the Emmy Awards Red Carpet
Arrivals Show for NBC, ABC, and Fox.

The 14th Annual PRISM Awards
Showcase's primary simulcast will air at 4:00 p.m. on September 18th
with an encore at 1:30 a.m. on September 19th. The National Geographic Channel
airing will be at 2 p.m. PT / 5 a.m. ET. Additional airings will be on Retirement
Living TV will be at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET and at 8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. ET on Saturday
(9/18), as well as at 8 a.m PT / 11 a.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET on September
19th and at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET on September 20th. E!, MTV and MTV.com are
making the show available free on-demand throughout the week of September 18 -
