Hi everyone, how are you doing? Sorry I've been out of touch for so long. I was in the hospital and am recovering from surgery, something which came up suddenly. I've been thinking about you a lot though, so I hope that counts;) The planet Neptune has slipped into the sign of Pisces. I have tried to move through the fog, both general and specific, to bring you this newsletter on this vital subject. Neptune in Pisces is a *sea* change that will - if handled well - transform us into beings more in tune with Spirit and Unity consciousness. So read on... Note: I will offer some thoughts regarding a 2012 overview soon, stay tuned. neptune in pisces . saturation in spirit
On February 21, 2012 (this Tuesday) we will have the New Moon in Pisces. This is made even more significant because the planet Neptune entered its home sign of Pisces on February 3, 2012. This shift is literally a *sea* change as Neptune is associated with the ocean and all things of watery depth. Neptune will be in Pisces until 2025 and this will have a profound effect on humanity and consciousness. What's very interesting about this new transit of Neptune through Pisces is that 165 years ago, when Neptune was *discovered* by humans on earth, it was in the sign of Pisces. So we are experiencing our Neptune Return as this passage begins. I wrote extensively on this subject in July, here is the link to that article: http://conta.cc/oTzUk5 | |

Here is a summary of Neptunian themes to meditate on as we begin to submerge ourselves in this surreal and sublime energy: The evolved state of Neptune: ONENESS, UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS, SPIRITUALITY, PURE LIGHT CONSCIOUSNESS, MERGING IN WITH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF SPIRIT, MEDITATION, SERVICE TO HUMANITY, ANGELS AND ASCENDED MASTERS, SPIRIT GUIDES, REIKI, PSYCHIC ABILITIES, MEDIUMSHIP, PHOTOGRAPHY, MOVIES, EMPATHY, COMPASSION, DEVOTION, SURRENDER, THE BODHISATTVA (Quan Yin as an example), SELFLESS SERVICE, BUDDHISM, CHRISTIANITY, JESUS, BUDDHA, THE DALAI LAMA, MIRACLES, FOCUS ON ENDING HUMANITY'S SUFFERING, MUSIC, POETRY, MYSTICISM, MERGING WITH OTHERS, FANTASY, SLEEP, DREAMING, DAYDREAMING, THE OCEAN, DOLPHINS, WHALES, WATER, LOVE, PEACE, YOGA, UNION, EMBRACING HUMANITY AS OUR SPIRITUAL FAMILY, BLISS. THY WILL BE DONE. The dark side of Neptune: ESCAPISM, ABUSING DRUGS AND ALCOHOL (a misguided attempt to merge with Spirit), MARTYRDOM, SLAVERY, PERSECUTION, DECEPTION, CONFUSION, DELUSION, FOG, ILLUSION, NEEDLESS SUFFERING, THE TRICKSTER GURU, PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR, NEBULOUSNESS, GLAMOUR, THE BLIND AND MINDLESS COLLECTIVE, BLIND DEVOTION, ANESTHESIA, BECOMING HYPNOTIZED, SHAM SPIRITUALITY, BRAIN-WASHING, CULTS, THE DESTRUCTIVE SIREN SONG, DISASSOCIATING FROM REALITY, USING PSYCHIC AND SPIRITUAL POWERS FOR SELFISH AIMS. All of these themes will become major aspects of not only our individual journeys, but of humanity's journey over the next 14 years. We are doing Round 2 of Neptune in its purest form and will become mermaids and surfers and mystics; in addition to facing the watery depths of our being. Make no mistake, this influence will permeate our culture, our individual consciousness, our collective consciousness and the zeitgeist of our times in ways that will change us forever in terms of how we interact with Spirit.

whitney houston - neptune claimed her
Neptune went into Pisces on Feb 3, 2012 and will be there for 14 years. Neptune is associated with (among many other things) music, drugs, alcohol, the ocean, the mystical, and the purest, highest Spiritual realms. Oceanic Pisces is the natural placement for the sublime planet Neptune. The ocean is now flooding into our consciousness and will saturate us between now and 2025.
A study in the energy of Neptune in Pisces: The stellar singer Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012. The cause of her death is as yet undetermined, but many suspect that she succumbed to a decades-long struggle with drugs and alcohol. Dr. Cyril Wecht, renowned forensic pathologist, stated that Whitney ingested three different tranquilizers (xanax and valium among them) and then drank alcohol. Then she got in the bathtub to take a bath. Drugs, alcohol, water - it was a Neptunian cocktail. She slipped away on the slippery Piscean slope. Her shocking death was made surreal because it occurred on the day before the music industry's glittery showcase night - the Grammy's. The Neptunian show went on - cast in the emotional tones of Neptunian confusion. Surreal: this is Neptune's milieu.
I have made a detailed study of Whitney's chart which I won't go into here, but suffice it to say that Neptune was only 4 degrees from her Pisces ascendant at the time of her death. Astrologically, it was a very vulnerable time. It is hard to find your way out of Neptune's fog; especially if you are not conscious of what you are swimming in as you float through Neptune's all pervasive, endless swirling waters.
The 12-step programs, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, say that the solution for addiction is spirituality. To achieve freedom from the deadly undertow of addiction, one must have a "psychic change." I have also heard that only 1 in 10 people with serious addictions survive. Each one who does is a miracle, plain and simple. What is the source

of addiction? The 12-step programs identify it as "self-will run riot." - the 'little self' grasping at desire and never finding satiation. The key to mastering Neptune is to embrace Spirit and let go of the SEPARATE self. This is, as you know, easier said than done - especially for those in the death-grip of serious addiction. The one word that counts is SURRENDER. How does one go about surrendering? It is an alien concept for most of us, but we will learn over the next 14 years.
Whitney Houston had everything: success, wealth, a loving family, a beautiful daughter and a voice incomparable for generations. It seems the only adverse circumstance in her life was due to her choice of husband, an addict himself who had a criminal record and who was an albatross (another Neptunian word) around her neck. But the most important thing that Whitney seemed to have was religion, God. She began as a gospel singer, and religion was a big part of her early life. None of these things saved her. But then again, religion is not spirituality. They are two different things. Spirituality is an INTERNAL experience.
Neptune is associated with the savior, the martyr, the suffering servant, the Redeemer. It seems nothing could save Whitney. In a most simple metaphor, many respond to Neptune's call, to Spirit's siren song, by turning to spirits (with a lowercase S) instead of to Spirit (with a capital S). At the beginning of the Neptunian epoch, Whitney Houston calls our attention to one of Neptune's perplexing paradoxes - how to reach out to and merge with Spirit and not lose ourselves in the sea of unconsciousness.
Who (or What) will redeem us, i.e. all of us, Humanity, our crumbling culture, this beautiful madness we have projected into the world, our magnificent delusional obsessions? Who or What will save us from our addictions? We have everything, including religion, but we are spiritually bankrupt. We are addicted to cheap oil, corporate excess, reckless materialistic consumption, debt, fast food, tv, football, prozac, beer, vodka, prescription drugs, sex... The list is as infinite as Pisces itself.
The last time Neptune was in Pisces was in 1846. We "discovered" Neptune at that time, so we on planet Earth are experiencing our first "Neptune Return" - a 165-year cycle. A key question to ask is: Who will save you? The answer for Neptune in Pisces in the 21st century is: there is no savior out there. It is inside of you. The only savior we have in this day and (Aquarian) age is the Spirit within. However, contacting and activating that Spirit on a conscious level, i.e. creating a "psychic change" that will dissolve our addiction to the little self ... there is the rub.
The good news is simple but slippery - Neptune in Pisces is pure deep, boundless Love, which is what we find when we allow ourselves to let go and surrender to Spirit. Spirit says to us, using words from Whitney's most famous songs: "I Will Always Love You." Now we will see our culture grapple with how to contact and hold that kind of huge, transcendent love. The way that Whitney Houston died foreshadows our own coming spiritual initiation.
Whitney succumbed. Neptune swept her away, claimed her. Now, we too will attempt to ride the tsunami of Love. At the Grammy's, the artist Adele swept the awards with the song: 'Rolling in the Deep' - a Neptune in Pisces anthem. We are rolling and running underwater, in the deep.
