Setting Some 2007 Goals For Positive Thinking!
I would like to offer you a challenge. On a piece of
paper draw two columns. In the first column write
down at least three projects or ideas that did not
work. Your subject matter could be your marketing,
leadership, or practice systems. Now in the other
column write down your intended results.
Look at these columns and ask yourself what could have you done different to achieve your intended results. Is it possible to put those changes into 2007? The average person relies on their own experience and education when making decisions about their business or life. It is what most people think they can trust. I do believe in "going with your gut" or your instincts. However, if you keep trying different systems only to end with the same results it is time to look at what is not working. When I am working with a client either in dentistry, medical or one of my coaching clients I typically see the same attitude being used when trying a new system or technique. Breaking free of self defeating thinking is not as easy as it sounds. But is well worth the effort. Just ask my clients. The first step is identifying under what circumstances are you most vulnerable for self defeating thinking. Then second step is to listen to the negative chatter in your mind. Ask yourself,"Is this true?" The third step is to follow up this self dialog with a truth statement. What truth statement can you put in the place of the false one? Finally, pay attention to how often you chatter with yourself in untruths. Everytime you do it squeeze two fingers together forcefully enough to distract the thought pattern. Then replace it immediately with a truthful positive statement. Repeat this process over and over and over. Give this challenge at least three weeks and then look back at the results. There are many strategies that can be created to end a fruitless cycle of managing or living. Working with a practice strategist will provide you with the tools to accept new systems and change the way you see your business and life. If your accounts receivables are daily slipping away from your bank account then it is time to call an expert. Call Suzanne with The Money Doctors LLC at 1-877-743-1333. Suzanne is a powerful, positive and larger-than-life
personality. Suzanne Robinson brings a special brand
of empathy and expertise to her dental clients.
Suzanne shares her wisdom, compassion and
enthusiasm for life with her clients to assist and
elevate them in all areas of the dental practice. Her
first management position was at the tender age of
18. She quickly became a corporate general manager
training new owners of franchises in the food
industry. At the age of 28 she started in dentistry as
a dental assistant in a dental clinic overseas in
England. After 3 years she returned to the states and
realized she missed the nuts and bolts of running a
business. She chose practice management in
dentistry and has remained there ever since. Her
passion for dentistry, the patients and the
practice staff is immeasurable. She truly believes
dentistry is a field you either love it, or hate it.
For 34 years she has studied everyone and everything that spoke to personal strength, personal growth, empowerment and business management. She then integrated that information with her own experiences, college classes and developed a common sense approach for addressing professional and personal challenges. Her frank, down-to-earth, and inspiring manner resulted in publishing her first article in 2002. In 2003 she opened up her own business named The Money Doctors. An accounts recovery, practice strategies, marketing, promotional and team training business that has earned her respect in not only dentistry but the medical profession as well. In 2004 The Money Doctors were hired by Dr Alan Walters, vascular surgeon and general practitioner, to assist him in collecting his overdue accounts receivables and organizing his new office with systems in all areas of the practice. He still uses many of the leadership techiniques and systems to this day. In 2004 Suzanne was asked to be a staff writer for a Canadian on line magazine, at www.thesoko.com. She wrote weekly articles on personal power, business communication and relationship building. In early 2005 she became the advise columnist for the same magazine. The column is titled Ask Sue. You can check it out at www.thesoko.com under the Love and Relationship heading. In 1993 she started volunteering for the Arizona Education and Employment Organization for women doing monthly seminars for three years. She spoke on multiple topics to include assisting women in enhancing their present communication and relationship building skills in the work environment. She has also done multiple seminars with the local courts to include judges and staff. Her most recent speaking engagement was in Flagstaff, Arizona in November of 2006 sponsored by Patterson Dental. The topic was getting your back and front office involved in the practice accounts receivables. Her present volunteer effort is focused on CASS Dental Clinic for the Homeless in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a regular volunteer since January 2006. She is using her expertise in increasing cash flow using multiple strategies through marketing, promotions, web site creative assistance and consulting. Her dream is to move this non profit organization into a self supporting entity. Recently she acquired a free website and hosting through a company she uses for her dental clients, www.officite.com. Check out www.cassdentalclinic.com. She is assisting in the creative content and marketing. Suzanne also has a life coaching business for professionals of all walks of life. She believes everyone should seek out the opportunity to move forward in their lives regardless of why they are stuck. She earned her certification in life coaching through the Southwest School of the Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona in 2004. She uses her education and profound understanding of human behavior with everyone she meets. She likes to call herself the ?affordable life coach?. She says, ?I want everyone to reach for the stars. The most common block I see in my coaching clients is approval addiction. This can ruin a life.? Her web site is www.asksuecoaching.com. - 1333.
