SYNOPSIS: 

 

Conservative small town America and the sixties' Psychedelic Counterculture clash during the "Summer of Love" when an aspiring hippie Afro-Jew from New York dupes the son of a Swedish dairy farmer into smuggling outlawed margarine into butter rich Wisconsin.

ANGELA- A young 20's African American woman, Howard's NYC girlfriend is a hippie chick wanna-be. She is aloof and free-spirited. (Speaking role)

 

MOTHER- Caucasian mother of a five year old daughter, very prim and proper with old fashion values, she's dressed in her Sunday best. (Non-Speaking role but needs good facial expressions)

 

DAUGHTER- Five year old girl with blonde curly hair, dressed for church... maybe a Shirley Temple knock-off. (Non-Speaking role but needs good facial expressions)

 

HANK- A scruffy-looking mid-30's margarine smuggler. He is nervous and twitchy whenever the law is around. (Speaking role)

 

RABBI- Typical looking old Jewish Rabbi dressed the part, complete with long beard, he marries Howard & Katie at the end. (Non-Speaking role)
