Griffen Demo Days
Ride the best!
For car fanatics, having Enzo Ferrari, Ferrucio
Lamborghini or even Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz
explain the vision behind or construction of the
world?s finest autos would be a dream come true.
The finite-nature of life, unfortunately, makes that
impossible.
But for bike aficionados looking for the perfect ride
and a chance to chat with the guy who created it,
dreams can come true. ?I?ll have a whole trailer full of
bikes for people to ride,? said Tony Free, owner of
Griffen USA. ?We?ll have a great time.?
Free will be at Triple Sports this Friday, Saturday,
and
Sunday (Feb. 3, 4 & 5) to showcase his impressive
line of triathlon
and road bikes. Riders can take advantage of his
overwhelming knowledge of bicycle craftsmanship
and try out ? free of charge ? various Griffen styles.
Griffen offers one of the
smoothest rides around with the added benefit of
never fatiguing. To the bicycle rider, an
indefatigueable metal matrix composite translates to
a feel that is the same whether it is the first or the
500th trip out the door, Free said.
Mac Cummins of Mesa, a triathlete training for
Ironman Arizona in April, said his Dave Scott
signature bike offers performance that he has rarely
experienced.
?I'm not sure where to start about my Griffen. It's
easily the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden,?
Cummins said. ?I feel really fresh off the bike and
onto the run, which is really my main interest.?
As president of Wisconsin?s Fox Cities Triathlon Club,
Alan Cherkasky has had an opportunity to ride many
bikes. But it was his love of the Griffen ride, he said,
that has kept the company at the forefront of club
activities.
?They are just the most unbelievable bikes in the
world,? Cherkasky said. ?They ride beautifully. I
believe in the product, I believe in the company, and
I
believe in Tony.?
As the only Griffen dealer in Arizona, Triple Sports is
able to take advantage of special pricing
considerations. Brian Anderson, who owns and
operates the downtown Scottsdale-based store with
his wife, Kara, said buyers can grow their purchasing
power with discounts and product allowances.
?We really try to work with people to help connect
them with a customizable bike that doesn?t break the
bank,? Brian said. ?Riders will be happy with Griffen,
but we also want them to be happy with Triple
Sports.?
