How Many Analysts Do I Need?

There are three major steps required to create a realistic headcount plan:

1. Create the workload forecast

2. Calculate the required headcount to handle the workload

3. Calculate all the factors that have an impact on staffing

Click the link below to walk through each of the 3 steps above and determine how many analysts you need to run your operation.

Headcount forecasting... how many analysts do I need?

Greetings!

Are you struggling with creating a headcount forecasting plan for your organization? Do you have a plan but know you will need to 'jump through hoops' later to ask for more people? Do you 'pad' your current plan to allow for later additions? Is a WFM software package a good solution?

Read this month's featured article 'How Many Analysts Do I Need?' to help predict your future headcount needs with confidence.

Thank you to those of you who attended our sessions at the SSPA conference in Santa Clara from May 4-6.

We had an excellent conference with 50+ people attending our session on Reengineering Customer Support, 100+ people attending our Metrics session which was followed by a lively 'roundtable' discussion, along with follow-up conversations with many of you at our booth in the Expo Hall.

It is a pleasure for us to have the opportunity to meet you all and discuss the challenges and successes you are experiencing within your organizations.
We look forward to these conferences where we have the opportunity to share information and exchange ideas with so many of you in the support industry. We hope to see many of you at the Fall SSPA conference at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas from October 20-22. The theme will be 'Winning Service Strategies in a Shifting Global Economy.' Watch our newsletter for more details as the time gets closer.
