Welcome back! How has your week been? We got all excited that hurricane Earl was going to come through Mooseville! He didn't really deliver like the weathermen said he was going to. I think that weathermen have a nice job. It's one of the only jobs you can get it wrong so many times and still keep your job! But I'm definitely not complaining, just pointing something out.

This week we have been busy getting ready our new Halloween decor section. I know it seems a little early but we have a lot of work getting it together. So keep a witch...I mean watch out for it in the coming weeks!

As Labor Day is now upon us, it is time to bring in the rest of the harvest, eat a crisp new apple or two and go to some local county fairs! Hard to believe that it is that time of year already. But the leaves will be turning into their most beautiful colors very soon! Sometimes I get a little nostalgic! The smells of fresh apple pies cooling on someone's windowsill is very alluring and I have to fight hard to resist the temptation to stick my head in as I walk by.
