In this Issue: Be an MRF Evangelist, Auction this Week.
Are you an MRF Evangelist?
Last month, we posted an item to our blog with tips on sharing the MRF story with others. This is important to us because it is through your networks that we are reaching new friends who can support our work and in turn further share our story with others.
I continue to be amazed and inspired by the reach our supporters have and I urge you to keep up the good work. Rachel Quilter in New Almaden, CA, ultra-marathon runner Dennis Smith from Columbia, MD, future neuroscientist Darla Bongiovanni from New York, Paul Paez in LA, Diana Preston of Providence, RI, Fred Schwartz of Burlington, NJ, Bob Gregory from Chicago, IL, Gali Hagel of Burlingame, CA, and Tim Gustafson of Philadelphia, PA are just a few of those who have joined the MRF cause to stop MS in its tracks now.
All of your heartfelt words about the MRF have helped us to reach our goals and will help take us to the finish line. You are making a difference. And your reaching out to your friends, family and colleagues on our behalf will change the lives of people living with MS.
Thank you and best wishes for the holiday season and New Year.

Auction this Week: Get Moving and Bid on this Framed Photograph
Courtney Carver is another MRF Supporter who has been an MRF Evangelist. She was diagnosed with MS in July 2006. She is also a photographer and a cyclist. She supports the Myelin Repair Foundation because she believes in our unique research model that is solely focused on finding and rapidly delivering treatments for MS patients.
Courtney is generously donating one of her prints for an online auction for the Myelin Repair Foundation.
The photograph that she has chosen to donate is titled "Spin" (pictured above.) This image is about Courtney's own motion, energy and passion for finding a cure for MS.
The winner of the auction will receive a 12X18 sized photograph of "Spin" matted, signed, numbered and framed to 18 X 24 (white mat, black frame). This is the perfect present for a loved one that bicycles or loves photography. The estimated retail value of the framed print is $500.
The Auction Begins Tuesday, December 8, 8AM Pacific Time
The auction begins Tuesday, December 8 at 8AM Pacific Time and it will end Friday, December 11 at 5PM Pacific Time. This will allow enough time for the framed and signed print to be delivered for a Christmas or holiday gift. Courtney will be shipping the print.
The starting bid is $250 and each bid needs to be higher by minimum of $10.
To bid, comment on this blog post with your bid amount and enter in your full name and above the comment section enter your email address where we can contact you otherwise your bid will be void.
Please let others know about the auction to benefit the Myelin Repair Foundation. Be our MRF Evangelist. We need you.
