I am fascinated by bridges both for what they are structurally and what they represent metaphorically. To think that we can come together collectively and create something like the Golden Gate Bridge amazes me. While the photo you see here is not the Golden Gate, it's the Sundial Bridge in Redding, California, and for me it represents a bold and forward thinking attitude.

Given the challenges we face with changing economic and environmental conditions, I want to support the idea that we can come together collectively as architects, builders, designers, and artists to build a bridge to a prosperous and sustainable future.
