Greetings!
 With the holidays approaching I have quite a bit of news to share including a book and art fair, a free workshop on photography offered at the local library, and an exhibition of dance panoramas in January, in conjunction with Terrain's Winterdance performances. Dan Suzio Photography
 Dan Suzio's wildlife portraits offer a revealing glimpse into his subjects' lives. "He has an astounding ability to capture
movement, natural situations, and spontaneous action while achieving the artistic composition, color, and sharpness of detail I associate with studio work," says Dan Rademacher, Editorial Director of Bay Nature magazine. Publisher, editor, and photo industry consultant Ann Guilfoyle says that Dan's images "are marked by a deep fascination with his subject" and invite the viewer to "take a close, involved look."
Since 1978, Dan Suzio's work has appeared regularly in a wide variety  of publications and museums, including Audubon, Bay Nature, and Your Big Backyard magazines, as well as the newly redesigned California Academy of Sciences.

Exhibit and Dance Concert
 I will be exhibiting some new work in conjunction with Terrain, a Dance and Performance Collective. Terrain will be presenting "WinterDances 2010" at Western Sky Studio, 2525 Eighth Street, Berkeley Saturdays, January 23 and 30 at 8 p.m. Sundays, January 24 and 31 at 7 p.m.
Terrain members Jim Beatty, Ruth Botchan, Minoo Hamzavi. Treve Johnson, Aileen Kim, Mary Reid, and Ann Swigart will be showing new and revived works at this annual concert.
