    The Allentown Branch of the NAACP will be having its 63rd Annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday July 23, 2005, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 904 Hamilton Street in Allentown, PA.

    The theme for this year's banquet is "The Time Is Now". Our keynote speaker will be Mr. De Lacy Davis, who is an international speaker on law enforcement and civil rights issues.

    Individual tickets can be purchased for a donation of $40.00 each. Since we are a 501(c)(4) organization, please note that contributions for this function are not tax deductible. Also, tickets will not be available at the door.

    We invite you, your associates and your friends to join us, and support the efforts of the NAACP. The organization is run by volunteers and the annual Freedom Fund banquet is our primary fund raising effort. All funds raised will go toward financing the banquet and NAACP operations.

    June is HUD's National Homebuyer's Month and in support of that Shiloh Community Services will be hosting a Community Fair on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 9:00am-2:00pm at Greater Shiloh Church. This fair, "HOUSE PARTY", will be an indoor outdoor event for the whole family to enjoy.

    Musikfest has announced the final additions to the 2005 lineup. Highlighting the list of concert announcements is a performance by George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic!

    The Grand Master of Funk will take the Straub Chrysler Jeep RiverPlace stage on Aug. 13.

    Other announced acts include Capitol Steps, Dr. Demento, Jo Dee Messina, Jazz Mandolin Project, Mike Dugan, Seether/Crossfade, 'The Medium' by BOT, and ZOEgirl.
