A John and Fannie Saeger Lecture presentation

Faith Ringgold is widely regarded as one of the most important living African American artists. Her inspiring, often humorous, and always very human stories will illustrate her life's work as an artist, activist, author, teacher, and parent through the evolution of an awesome body of work that embodies more than 100 paintings. Images from the Women on a Bridge Series (1988), The French Collection, The American Collection (1997), and the Coming to Jones Road Series (2000) will be included.

Ringgold's slide presentation at Allentown Symphony Hall will be immediately followed by a book signing at the Museum. Faith Ringgold: A View from the Studio, the full-color book published by the Museum and Bunker Hill Publishing, is available now in the Museum Store. Purchase your copy in advance, and remember to use your member discount.
